About this property

Sip your coffee on the porch swing as Wheeler Peak glows pink at sunrise!

• Panoramic deck with porch swing
• About 2 miles to Angel Fire Resort
• Free on-demand resort shuttle
• Dog-friendly (up to 2)
• Stocked kitchen for group dinners

Coffee in hand, porch swing creaking, and Wheeler Peak glowing pink as the sun climbs over the Enchanted Circle. That's a normal morning at this A-frame cabin, tucked into the Angel Fire Resort Country Club at 8,406 feet!

Inside, soaring ceilings and big A-frame windows pour light across the open living area. The sectional is ready for a post-ski pile-on. The kitchen is fully stocked for real cooking, from pancakes before first chair to a big group dinner at the dining table or out on the deck when the mountain air is just right.

Sleeping spaces:

• Bedroom 1: King bed, ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower
• Bedroom 2: King bed
• Bedroom 3 (loft): Queen bed plus trundle

Two full bathrooms keep busy mornings moving.

Who it's for: This is a great home base for families and friend groups who want big mountain views, quick access to the slopes and trails, and room for the pup too. The loft is up a flight of stairs, so keep that in mind for anyone who would rather stay on one level.

Our local team is on call throughout your stay, so all you have to do is soak up those Angel Fire sunrises!

The area

You're tucked right into the Angel Fire Resort Country Club, with the mountain just minutes away.

The mountain: Angel Fire Resort is about 5 minutes away for skiing, snowboarding, and tubing in winter, then mountain biking, zip-lining, scenic chairlift rides, and disc golf once the snow melts.

Country club: The clubhouse is open to the public, with a restaurant and full bar right in the neighborhood. You can also use the fitness center and indoor heated pool for a small day fee. It's perfect for a swim after a cold ski day!

Food & drink: Cozy local spots for pizza, New Mexican favorites, fresh-baked treats, and a local brewery are all about 5 to 10 minutes away.

Day trips: Eagle Nest Lake is about 20 minutes away, Taos and Taos Pueblo about 40 minutes, the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge about 50 minutes, Taos Ski Valley just over an hour, and Santa Fe about 2 hours.

A car is your best friend here, since Uber and Lyft are hard to come by in Angel Fire. On ski days, skip the parking hunt entirely! Angel Fire Resort runs a complimentary on-demand shuttle that picks you up at the base area and drops you right at the house, and the number is in your house guide. Taos Regional Airport is about 45 minutes away.

“My family and I had a wonderful week at Kelly’s place! The location is ideal, close to everything near by (only a 6 minute drive to Angel Fire resort). Neighbors were also kind enough to give us advice on driving, as they saw us struggle up the hill where you get to the house. The home itself was so cozy, everything we needed and then some! 10/10, would book again. And thank you Kelly for being flexible with us when we couldn’t get out due to snow!”
