Disappointing. We booked the home because it was advertised as a 4 bedroom 4 bathroom home. We were fine with the 1 bedroom / bath unit being only accessible from outside. What we were not fine with was arriving to that entire unit being covered in standing water. It was easy to see this was not the first time the unit was in that condition, as there was a large shop vac outside of the door of the unit. We spent 6 hours between texts and on the phone for a resolution. A plumber was sent 2 hours later and had to shut the water off to the entire house. It was a holiday weekend. We had no choice but to spend the night there, with NO water, as it was near midnight after our last phone call. We received a full refund 4 days later. We had to scramble to find 4 hotel rooms on a holiday weekend in the area. Folks, read the other reviews, even the 4 star ones. This house needs maintenance. Rotted and bird poop covered outdoor furniture. Musty smell in the entire home. Beautiful views though.

Great views and peaceful neighborhood but I feel as if the neighbors should mind there business a bit. There’s no reason they should be watching anyone pull in and out of the residence every time as if they shouldn’t be there. One room was not cleaned well but overall the home is lovely and offers a relaxing experience.

Beautiful stay, responsive host!

The house is beautiful & the views were stunning. The house was nice & cool when I arrived but I had issues entering the house since the first code I was given did not work. I called the number I was provided and after some troubleshooting, I was able to enter. The house was good, but I was not informed about a malfunctioning fridge & freezer prior to arrival. There was a mini fridge in the house, so the fridge was an issue they knew of. It was frustrating because we had bought a lot of food that had gone bad because the fridge was not working. I had reached out for help but no one came to look at the fridge during my stay & I felt like I was not a priority. Parking was also an issue, I had friends coming in from different locations and knew we would be over 4 cars and I was told to park the other cars at a Walmart "nearby" (10-15 minutes away) when it was really 20 minutes & I just feel that I was not appropriate. I didn't feel tended to.

This was for our family vacation. Our children are adults (there were 5 of us). This place was perfect. This place is not close to the city but that is exactly what we wanted. Kelly was super responsive to messages and sent very clear instructions on check-in and check-out! The pictures are exactly what you get when you arrive only the real thing is 100 times better! We would definitely stay here next time.

This cabin was perfect for a group trip with friends. The location was beautiful and secluded so gave us lots of privacy.

Beautiful surroundings and views. The home is large and has all necessary items. Mentioned a few maintenance opportunities privately to the owner. A little far from restaurants and gas station depending on what you like, but peaceful and scenic.

We came to spend a quiet Thanksgiving away from home. We had an enjoyable stay. The views were amazing. The house is well appointed which made for a relaxing holiday.

Disclosure: We are in process of negotiating a full refund per the NC Vacation Rental Act, but Kelly and her managers are not budging from only refunding unused days at a fraction of full value. 1) Bedroom 4 is a basement apartment that reeked of fungus or sewer gas (we could not establish which). The air conditioning setup was not standard and so humidity was 75%. 2) Minor maintenance items throughout house need attention, not enough space to list. 3) Cleaning needs to be more thorough--coffee ground paste stuck in filter basket, house water filter needs replacing, towels in bedroom 3 were musty and stained, outdoor seating was not cleaned, etc. 4) Oven door was jammed shut and unusable. (1) and (4) drove us to leave early. Kelly finally offered three other properties (but one day shorter duration) after the HVAC tech couldn't fix the problem. This was unacceptable so we vacated. Complaints filed with county health and bldg depts, NC Atty General, and Airbnb. DO NOT RENT THIS HOUSE

We enjoyed our stay. Kelly's home was as described, and she was very responsive and helpful throughout our visit.

It was a beautiful cabin nestled in the woods on the mountain above the morning fog! Loved the hot tub and outdoor space. Beds were comfortable and home was nicely decorated. Kitchen had everything you might need including a gas grill on the deck! The house is a little creaky with all the wood in it. Just took a little getting used to once we figured out what was making the noises. But overall we enjoyed the cabin and all the amenities!

Kelly's place is in a beautiful location and is accurately portrayed in photos. The views from the balconies are wonderful. We ran into issues with a number of details that soured our stay. First, everything is threatened with a fine. If you use the garbage disposal, if you turn around in a neighbor's driveway. All these threats of fines did not create a welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, when we arrived all of the doors and windows in the house were unlocked. We discovered this late in the night after returning from dinner and scrambled to go around locking everything, which made us feel unsafe. The house creaks VERY loudly. In the middle of the night multiple guests woke up thinking someone was trying to get in. No bathmats for slippery wet bathroom floors, TV streaming didn't work, many lights were out or blinked constantly. The kitchen didn't have a sponge or dishwasher detergent. The listing advertised an EV charger - a key reason we chose it - but there wasn't one.

We had a great stay. So many decks to choose from with comfortable seating to watch the sunrise/sunset down into the valley. Hope to return next time we are in the area!

the home is beautiful. comfortable beds and furniture. quiet and peaceful area. very private. very remote. we did have the power go out for a short time but it is very remote and does have a generator. very spacious. the restaurants locally were very good. I would definitely stay there again. recommended also to my best friend. If i had to say anything negative it would be that there were some areas missed with the cleaning crew. crackers and seeds not cleaned up but overall the home is stunning. did report to Kelly and she was very responsive.

This home is very beautiful. The views are incredible. The outside patio with hot tub and chairs was such a great relaxing place for us to enjoy. The neighborhood is so beautiful, and we frequently saw deer, beavers, and rabbits. However, there is a serious issue with the cleanliness of the home. From the moment I got there I noticed a strong dog odor, dust, pet hair, soiled rugs that are very old and dirty everywhere, the downstairs level bedroom was uncleaned, unmade bed that had been slept in, poop in the toilet etc. I even found a dead squirrel. I am someone who really likes clean spaces and I also love to clean so I spent my first day of my vacation deep cleaning the house. I re washed sheets, re made beds, pulled up dirty rugs, swept, mopped, clean toilets etc. I was very disappointed by the cleanliness of the house. It was simply not cleaned. Whoever is the cleaner should be replaced. There is also very loud creaking and banging coming from the roof. It kept me up most nights.

This was a beautiful cabin, with a nice fireplace and jacuzzi. The views were stunning. We brought our yellow lab and Kelly provided bowls and a doggie bed a really nice touch. Secluded but not far fr Asheville -30 min. Local restaurants in the area were good.

Great place for a family vacation. The place is amazing!

The AirBB was cozy and in a beautiful, private location yet 15 minutes to downtown Waynesville which had so many cute shops and wonderful restaurants. We loved having the best of both worlds. It was perfect for our family of 4 and would also be comfortable for 6. The mother in law suite is a nice option if you need the space, but important to know it is a separate entrance and needs to be aired out. Also important everyone staying is comfortable with stairs. Our host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We were sad to leave and would stay there again.

We had such a great, relaxing stay here. Home had amazing views and was cozy. We felt tight at home. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. Would recommend and would love to come back. Downtown Waynesville was a short drive away and was such a cute town and had great local shopping.

The place was very nice and quiet. I loved that it’s private from other properties and has amazing view. Also, the host responded within minutes.

We had a wonderful stay! Kelly and team were so flexible and gracious as we were scrambling to find a place to stay after a hurricane. The home was comfortable and clean and the kids were thrilled to have a hot tub to play in. There were a few minor issues (as happen with all properties, even my own home!) and the team was super responsive and helpful. My only note is that the 4th bedroom is in fact a completely separate mother-in-law suite and thus was unusable as a bedroom for kids. I’m not sure how to make that more obvious in the listing, but I didn’t catch it until we arrived. Otherwise we had a lovely stay and are so thankful for their kindness and hospitality.

Really enjoyed the house, ample room for 4 adults and 6 kids. Gorgeous view and feels very secluded and private but only a few minutes from places to get things you may need. Short drive to Waynesville and enjoyed downtown. We would definitely stay again!!

What a lovely and luxurious home! We really enjoyed our stay, especially sitting on the deck(s) with the stunning views. Kelly was incredibly responsive when we were having some trouble with the Smart TVs. Would definitely visit again!

Place had an amazing view and was a very spacious cabin! The issue I had was the dishes were not cleaned well, and the mother in law suite had a musty smell and was unusable due to the smell. Otherwise was a great place to rent.

Easy to communicate with and beautiful house.

Beautiful home, wonderful view and close to nice downtown area with restaurants, shopping and Breweries. Great match for those looking for peace and quite but not too remote from amenities.

We had a quiet and relaxing stay. Had some difficulties the first night not being able to access the bottom room. There were odds and ends things that were off. For instance, locks falling off of doors and doorways not lining up and shutting properly. Small things that just feel overlooked or should be replaced. Kelly is a wonderful host and always responds promptly. Extremely helpful and ensures that the stay is top tier. She makes up for the things that were lacking in the home.

Overall, we had a good experience at this airbnb. The hot tub worked fine, the bathrooms were nice, and everyone had adequate room. The TV remote did not work properly. I suggest bringing an hdmi cable although i believe one is provided as well. the dishwasher would randomly leak and was not able to be used. I've read reviews regarding mice but did not see any. we would give this place 4 out of 5 stars! Not bad if you're staying 5 days or under

Overall the home is beautiful however, our 3rd night there we were woken up at 7:00AM to a mouse IN THE BED. The mouse was walking on the beam by the fan and got caught on one of the sticky mouse traps and fell into the bed my wife and I were sleeping in. We also had our children sleeping in the room with us and after this event we felt very uncomfortable sleeping in the room (master bedroom). Because we were staying with a large amount of people we were unable to stay in another room so we put a sheet above the bed in hopes if this happened again at least the sheet would catch the mouse. We covered our children as well. Luckily we did not see another mouse although we continued to hear them. Like other comments the TV/ Wi-Fi was not the best. The fire place also did not work. If the mice and other issues were taken care of this would be the perfect place to stay. It’s in a great location and the home itself is beautiful and has great space for larger groups.

This was an AMAZING cabin to stay in with my family! The location was private, yet accessible. It was close to enough to nearby cities for brewery hopping and exploring. We had 2 old year olds with us and didn’t have to worry about their safety for a second! It was easy to baby proof! One recommendation… bring a sound machine if you are sensitive to noise. Other than that, I would highly recommend staying here!

Kelly and the team were able to put my group up last minute as we had another cancellation from a different hosts. She was responsive and helpful! Location was so beautiful and had plenty of space for me and my guests! Recommend!

We were so excited to come stay here for a friend’s birthday trip. The location is great, views were great, but one of the worst AirBnBs I’ve stayed in. Property is listed advertising hot tub, which is why we chose the place. At check in the host messaged me that there was a “leak” in hot tub and someone would be coming by that night to repair it so it would be useable. After no one showing up that night, I messaged the next day and the host changed stories and said they were still looking for someone to come by and gave several excuses but never got it fixed. Okay no hot tub, annoying but okay. WiFi and TVs do not work. Dirty towels. No lamps work. Fireplace doesn’t work either. Several mice living in the ceiling and amongst the house that got into our food. Literally saw a mouse stick its head out of the ceiling while in master bed and could hear them all night long. Would not stay here again

Very good home and an amazing view. One of the main issues we had was that the plumbing system either the kitchen sink and the dishwasher was not good, so we ended up not being able to use both of those for 2 days. Also, the TV was very on and off with connecting to WIFI so it was hard to watch anything on the TV.

The house is beautiful, as described and well- appointed. Enjoyed our stay except for ongoing difficulty with the living room television not connecting to the Internet, thus not usable. Was never resolved during our stay, despite us doing everything we could to get it to work and following Kelly’s mostly unhelpful suggestions. This is my second unsatisfactory experience with renting from a business/management company rather than an owner. Will never rent from a business/management company through AirBnb again, only from an owner.

We had a great time in this cabin for a friend weekend getaway. The house was the perfect size for our group of eight and it was very secluded so we didn’t have to worry about bothering any neighbors. Two things to note: you can hear every little sound in the house no matter which floor you’re on, so if you’re a light sleeper, either bring a sound machine or earplugs. The second thing is that the bottom bedroom is completely separate from the rest of the house. You cannot enter the main level unless you go outside and up the stairs. This is just something to be aware of.

The property is absolutely gorgeous! Due to the nature of the neighborhood and road into the house it can be a bit difficult to maneuver without 4WD (but that’s to be expected in this area). It also means that you’re about 20 minutes from the closest grocery store or fast food restaurant. Not a fault, just something to note! The only issue with our stay was an absolutely awful smell coming from the vents. We alerted Kelly as soon as we smelled it and we’re concerned it could be a gas leak. Unfortunately we had to wait all day at the property for a technician to check for leaks so we had to cancel plans. No leaks were found, but the smell persisted and we were unable to turn the heat on all weekend. Things happen, though, and overall I would definitely give this place another chance! The view alone is worth the return, not to mention the hot tub.

We had a wonderful stay at the Dreamy mountain get away ! My husband and I decided to take a spontaneous anniversary trip with our dog & 9m old baby boy. The views were spectacular. There was plenty of room and would have easily accommodated 8-10 people . It was 30 min drive from Asheville where we went on Sunday and Monday to visit the downtown area and the Biltmore . It was a 10 minute drive to downtown Waynesville where they had a lot of cute restaurants and dog friendly places to check out as well. The cabin had everything you could need and more . Having a high chair and extra packnplay really came in handy for our son ! The only changes I would recommend would be a lock on the master bedroom and a lock on the door to the stairs . Our bedroom door kept popping open because it didn’t latch well. We did receive the wrong check in code but Kelly was incredibly responsive and got us the correct code very quickly. I would absolutely stay here again !
