Myers Ridge - Stylish Country Retreat with Pool — Guest Reviews

The house is perfect for a family get away. We had everything we needed for the baby, kids, and grandparents. The pool was perfect and we loved roasting marshmallows and play board games at night. It was perfect!

Our three separate families met here to enjoy some time together. We loved the outdoor areas and the heated pool. Our grandchildren had so much fun as well as our dogs. Thanks for sharing your lovely home with us.

The house was great, it had everything you could possibly need and was larger than I had expected from the pictures. Great space for families both inside and out. The pool was a big hit, when the weather was nice we spent most time there. If you are looking for a place to stay where you want to just stay on property or you have an event in the area, this house is perfect. Property management was very responsive and helpful. Great for nature enthusiasts I’ve never seen so many white tail deer in one place. The only downside was to get anywhere you had to drive quite a way, and hiking areas that were posted didn’t always have accurate information on when they were open. We drove 30 minutes for a hike and when we got there the park was closed and hadn’t posted anything about it online. Interesting area, with an interesting history. If your looking to shop in the area I would stick to the shop rite and tractor supply plaza, you can get everything you need there, produce and meats are fresh at the ShopRite and there is a large selection. If you want a deli or something quick the Neversink country store is a great option. We didn’t really come across any farms or restaurants that appealed to us, but driving home I did notice that Ulster county did have some nice places that we might have frequented had we traveled that way. All in all it was a good vacation full of swimming, family dinners, puzzles and reading. Can’t go wrong with that.

We enjoyed our week at Myer’s Ridge! Had space for 3 families - with bedrooms and bathrooms on 3 levels we each had our own space which was nice. Having a crib and high chair was helpful and there were lots of clean, high quality toys for the little ones. The salt water pool was amazing. The wading area that led to the deeper end was perfect and was a nice surprise. The grill, chairs, umbrellas, and tables were all in great condition and allowed us to spend a lot of time outdoors. The large porch was great and we liked that it had gates at both ends. That area could have been a little cleaner but otherwise was a good place to hang out. You can see neighbors behind the house but the property is very secluded. We were surprised that there weren’t curtains on the bathroom windows but made do by hanging a towel. BBQ from the General Store nearby was very good. We were very pleased with the house and would stay again in the future.

Great secluded getaway Loved the location, large property with barely visible neighbors but close to hiking, breweries, shopping etc. The bedrooms, kitchen and shared indoor and outdoor spaces are as shown in pictures if not better. 2 of the bathrooms have bathtubs btw. Beautiful pool and patio, very clean and safe for supervised kids. Easy to step in, a large shallow end (maybe 16") and slope to almost 6 feet deep, perfect. Great seating, tables and umbrellas. If the bedrooms work for your family as it did for mine, don't hesitate to stay at Meyers Ridge.

This is such a gem! The house is gorgeous and immaculately styled. Three families (8 adults, 2 toddlers and a baby) stayed here for 4 days. It had so many ammenities that suited our needs. The children's room is so adorable, lively, and so many toys. This is pretty rare for Air BnB's in our experience and really added so much value. The accomodations fit the size of our party well. The kitchen is nicely equipped. We really were missing nothing. We had only wished the weather was nicer so we could have enjoyed the outside ammenities more. But April in the Catskills we did not expect to do so. One minor "issue" was that temperature control was a challenge. It is a large house with baseboard heating. We found ourselves either freezing cold or super hot most of the time. Fortunately, there is a lovely fireplace so we were able to stay toasty. My husband and I planned this trip for his siblings and their kids. We got so many rave reviews from them about how perfect the place is!

My family and I had such a relaxing stay. We’ve stayed with Red Cottage at another listing before so we were comfortable and confident booking with them again. My kids had so much fun with all the toys at this location. Also really loved the big yard especially since it snowed while we were there. We arrived on Thanksgiving Day and found that the driveway wasn’t shoveled. We understood it was a holiday, but Red Cottage was quick to respond via text and sent someone over next day early in the morning. Recommend booking with this host!

If you’re looking to have a peaceful getaway. This place is amazing, the house has everything you need. Is perfect for family time. We had a good time, we saw deer, fire flies and many more animals! The swimming pool area with the grill was amazing. I highly recommend this place, we”ll be back soon! Thanks

Family friendly great spot for the kids!

This was a great place for a weekend away from the city for our group. Modern and thoughtful details all over with everything you’d need!

A very nice place for group of people, 4 bedrooms are nice and clean. Definitely will come again if no price rising in the future!

We had a beautiful time and loved our stay! The house was gorgeous and roomy. We loved the space and how thoughtful everything was. The kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking tools you could need. Everything. was clean and well taken care of. There as also tons of games and things to do. We were there in a. but of snow storm and someone came in to clear the driveway and ensure we had an easy time getting out. Truly loved the place and hosts. Host was super responsive and helpful. Would book again and recommend to all!
