This house is beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. The Mountain View’s are incredible. It is the perfect escape while being close to town for coffee, restaurants, and shops.

We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful home. The views are spectacular, particularly from the master and rear porch. Lots of space. Was great for three generations under the same roof! The hosts were great. We had a small issue that they resolved immediately and were very communicative. Would recommend to others and book ourselves again in the future.

We felt like we were so close to everything we wanted to do. The view of the mountain and gondola from the house is amazing. The quiet backyard made it very easy to relax. The house was so cozy and inviting. Anything you could have needed was provided.

Amazing place to stay! Just 10 minutes out of town, so a perfect blend of being “away in the forest” with being close enough to Stowe and everything in town. The views out the back deck are unbelievable! We could not believe it. Insanely peaceful overlooking the forest and hills. And the master bedroom looked out over the hills as well. Very clean with a lot of room for large families. The host was incredibly responsive and proactive with communication. Very smooth check-in and made sure we had everything we needed, responding within seconds when we asked something. Highly recommend!

The house was lovely. Extremely clean, spacious, and beautiful views, especially from the master bedroom window. The folks at Red Cottage were remarkably proactive in their communications with us, and then equally and quickly responsive to any questions once we were there. The setting of the home was perhaps the best feature. Quiet, serene, and with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, with the amenities of Stowe about six miles away.

We had a wonderful stay and truly couldn’t have asked for a better place. The space was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with all the right elements to make it feel comfortable and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Everything was well-appointed and exactly as described, making it easy to settle in and relax. The location was also a huge plus—conveniently close to town and Stowe, which made getting around effortless while still enjoying a peaceful setting. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the area.
