We had a wonderful stay in Stowe! The cottage was close enough to town to drive in for dinner/activities, but far enough away that we felt like we weren’t in a tourist area. It was quiet and peaceful at night, we built a fire in the firepit and stargazed. The house is well stocked with a lot of personal touches. I will caution that if you require internet during your stay, you may want to book elsewhere. The WiFi and cell phone service (Verizon and AT&T) is not reliable (I couldn’t send pictures or pull the weather app up unless we were in town). This wasn’t a huge deal for us, the tv has a lot of channels available and the host provided boardgames and books. The bed and pillows were SO comfortable, probably the best I’ve ever experienced away from home! Overall I would absolutely recommend this cottage to anyone looking to explore Stowe!

I had such a peaceful stay, and it was exactly as described! I was looking for somewhere serene and comfortable where I could hunker down and work in peace, and I found exactly that here.
We absolutely loved the loft! It was spotless, beautiful, and such a peaceful place to stay. We especially enjoyed the pond and deck, which made the whole experience even more relaxing. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!

Very quiet, lots of wildlife, fairly close to both Stowe and Morrisville. We called and asked if it was possible to get an umbrella for the deck and within a couple of hours, Jamie showed up with one. Looking forward to returning next year.

Clean. Quiet. Modern. Beautiful location. Easy Drive into Stowe.
Overall experience was very good. Host is very responsive and thorough. All amenities were offered and available at the home (ie soaps, cooking supplies, linens, coffee, etc). Location of the home was perfect and in a private area with great views.
The only complaints are in the small things. The bed frame is a cheaper one and did not feel very stable when sleeping on it and would rock with any movement. The master bedroom door would not close shut along with a good bit of the cabinetry in the kitchen having issues with the hinges being broken. The toilet seat was also broken on the one side.
Overall, very pleased with the home, but some of these small details could be buttoned up to make it a better stay for the price.
A beautiful home that is private and exactly as pictured and described. Setting provides an authentic Vermont experience while still being very close to all activities.
