This was my husband’s birthday weekend and he had an amazing time! Cabin was perfect in every way! Amazing mountain view from the hot tub ( this is where we ended every day) and it was very peaceful and relaxing.

We had an amazing stay. The property is so peaceful and cozy. The drive up can be a little intimidating in spots but after our second day we were used to it! The cabin had everything we needed, especially the kitchen and the beds were so comfortable. We would stay again!!

We had a great stay! The cabin was very clean, cozy, and exactly what we were looking for. The views were beautiful, and it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We especially enjoyed spending time in the hot tub after a day of exploring the area. The home itself, felt welcoming and comfortable, and everything was well-maintained. Communication was great throughout our stay, and we truly appreciated the hospitality. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was great, the view was fantastic and the cabin was cozy and comfortable. The roads are a little intimidating but we got used to it. There was hot water, a good mattress and everything was clean.

Chelsea was so sweet and accommodating. She answered any questions within 5 minutes! Her place offered more than basic amenities (pots, pans, utensils, salt/pepper) and I was shocked at the little details and extras such as family games (Life, Yahtzee, Candyland, and more!), coffee pods for her keurig but also a coffee pot if you bring your own coffee, laundry pods to keep up with laundry, just above and beyond! Such an absolute beautiful view, with great sunrise and sunset views from the hot tub. We had lovely dinners as a family courtesy of the grill. Everything was clean, organized, and cozy cabin vibes. The BEST experience for our two kids on their first trip to the mountains out of state. We enjoyed s’mores over the fire. My family wasn’t ready to leave and we certainly hope to return. The beds… OMG - so cozy. We all got the best sleep. It was fun reading the guest book and seeing local recommendations for food and outings. 5+ star experience! Chelsea was an incredible host.
The cabin was clean and just the right size for the two of us and our doggo. It was nice to get away from reality and just listen to the peace and quiet. Great screened in porch was a plus for our dog. Thank you again.

Our stay at The Wild Goose Retreat was incredible. Everything was perfectly situated when we arrived, it the right amount of room for all our needs! The hot tub on the porch with the gorgeous view cannot be beat! Sunsets on the screened in porch were magical. The beds were heavenly, and felt like sleeping on a cloud. It was easy to get to and close enough to all the attractions but still felt like we were tucked away in the woods. The owners were very responsive to any questions, making sure everything was okay, from getting checked in to check out procedures. Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely love to stay again!!

The cabin was clean and just as described. It had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Chelsea was very attentive to our needs and is a great host. We had a great time and would definitely come back!
The host was extremely deceitful and basically stole our money. I reached out and asked for approval on a cancellation within hours of booking due to suddenly hearing about inclement weather. She specifically approved the cancellation and directed me as to how I could get a refund. If she would not have approved the cancellation WE WOULD NOT HAVE CANCELLED. But since she approved it, we cancelled, then two days later DENIED our refund. She basically STOLE our money. AirBnB provided no help with this matter.

We had such a great time staying here! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and just like the pictures. It was a perfect 5 year Anniversary trip! We loved the cute town of Blue Ridge and all the shops and restaurants downtown. The road up to the cabin was a little scary for people who aren’t used to mountain roads, but our Honda Pilot did just fine getting us up and down and once we went up and down a couple times, we were pros. We also loved the hot tub and electric fire pit. 10/10 would stay here again!
We picked this place out specifically for the covered and screened-in hot tub and porch! Such a vibe! You'll want to drive a bit of a crossover or SUV here though, just because the road up there is tight and hilly. Great views though and had a lovely time!

If you are looking for a peaceful place to relax and recharge, this is it. Every day I was greeted by deer and the sweet songs of birds. No city noise and clean crisp air. The jacuzzi was amazing to unwind in and enjoy the Mountain View.
This cabin has beautiful views and very private! It had everything I needed to cook a couple of meals, and included a hot tub and fire pit, both of which were plus. Please be aware that the road going up to the cabin is very narrow and rough in spots. You will need a vehicle with clearance to get in to the driveway. You will love this cabin!
The cabin was just what we were looking for…beautiful surroundings, peaceful, and only a short distance from everything. My boys loved the jacuzzi and I loved being able to sit and unwind. The cabin was cozy and felt like home! Chelsea was also quick to respond when an unexpected event happened. She helped me and was so sweet! We will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Peaceful area, saw lots of deer and my husband finally got to see a bear. Enjoyed morning coffee on the porch, grilling dinner every night and evening soaks in the hot tub. House was exactly as advertised and we felt right at home. Right between Ellijay and Blue Ridge with close proximity to restaurants and a grocery store. We reached out one time to our hosts and Chelsea responded immediately and followed up to make sure everything was taken care of. I highly recommend this home for your mountain vacation and we look forward to going back. If we could give more than 5 stars we would!

Chelsea’s place is awesome! The view is amazing and after a day hiking or out seeing all the small surrounding towns, the hot tub with the view was a favorite. There is also a beautiful hiking trail at the bottom of the drive up to the cabin. All around it was a fabulous place and we plan to return!!

We had a great time, the house was as described and cozy! We spent a lot of time out of the house during the day, we have been here before but not in Blue Ridge so we explored the area! Goal was to see a bear out in the wild, unfortunately that didn’t happen, but saw deer, turkeys, and some beavers!!! Team was responsive and helpful!! Area is beautiful and peaceful! Wish I had time to take the trail nearby but we ran out of time!!
We really loved our stay here! The cabin is in a cute little neighborhood that is super quiet and peaceful and we discovered a trail within the neighborhood that meandered along a stream. Really close to Ellijay (cute town) and a bunch of water (rivers, lakes, etc - great for a heat wave). Chelsea was easy to communicate with and reliable. Minimal checkout effort required. We will be coming back!

We stayed here for a weekend trip with friends. The view was great, the cabin was just as it was described and it was perfect for our trip. The host, Chelsea, was very responsive to any questions we had. We loved having the hot tub for the cool nights as well. We would definitely visit here again.

Blue Ridge relaxation Nice location near Blue Ridge but quiet and apart from neighbors on the mountain. Cabin was cozy with all the needed amenities. Front porch offered a great view and delightful hot tub. The shower could use a caddy.
The cabin was quaint and it was so peaceful and comforting. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch and listening to the birds during the day and watching the lightning bugs (haven't seen one in over 20 years) at night. Chelsea was very helpful and she responded in a very quick and timely manner and was willing to help out with any of our needs. I would highly recommend staying with this host and at this location. It was a close drive to local activities and restaurants.

The little touches—like having everyday essentials such as laundry detergent, trash bags, and more—truly went above and beyond our expectations. We've stayed at several Airbnbs, and this is the first time we've arrived to find everything we could possibly need already stocked and ready for us. While those items aren't required, the attention to detail made our experience feel seamless and cared for. As for the cabin itself—it was perfect. We spent most of our time on the patio soaking in the beautiful views, relaxing by the fire, and unwinding in the hot tub. It was exactly the peaceful, much-needed getaway my wife and I were hoping for. Thank you, Chelsea! We’ll absolutely be back.

The cabin was beautiful and the view was amazing!!! The problem we had with the cabin was upon arriving there was what appeared to be wet toilet paper pieces all over the bathtub, shower wall and the interior part of the shower curtain. Then the comforter on the master bed had several stains. Some appeared to be bleach spot stains and then there were big circle oil like stains on the top of the comforter. The sheet was extremely worn and they definitely needing to be thrown out and replaced. Upon going to wash clothes the cleaning crew I am assuming that’s who is was left wet towels in the washing machine. I was forced to rewash them as I had no clue if they were washed previously or not. Last the instructions that are displayed around the cabin needs to be updated. The hot tub provided instructions to shock after 3 days however there was no shock anywhere. The check instructions do not match the email instructions. It’s very clear the cleaning crew is not doing their job.

It was a beautiful relaxing cabin that had an amazing view. It was super cozy and we felt right at home. The place was clean and had everything we needed. There were only two of us staying there but definitely could have fit 4 people with it having two rooms. The host was wonderful and checked in on us to make sure our stay was comfortable. Would definitely recommend this cabin and would love to stay at this cabin again in the future!

We spent a few days here for our anniversary and had the best time. We weren’t prepared for the drive up to the cabin but it was worth it once we were able to enjoy the hot tub with a mountain view. Perfect spot in the mountains with easy access to down town blue ridge.

We had asked for pictures of the driveway 3 weeks in advance and they said they’d send one but never did I asked like 3 more times and never received one it was important because I have a lowered car and I needed to know if it was accessible the driveway was rutted out and i barely was able to make it in because my car scraped and got stuck. And we found hair balls in the queen bed and the carpet in the living room smelled like dog pee.
Everything you would want and more for a peaceful, quiet, gorgeous getaway in the mountains! Will book again!
Great spot! The view is beautiful. We left once it started snowing in Georgia and it was beautiful. We had four adults and a child stay and were comfortable.

We loved this spot for a quick weekend getaway! We are both in the restaurant business and enjoy cooking. We appreciated the squeaky clean grill as well as the incredibly sharp kitchen knives. I’ve been staying in AirBnB’s for a long time, and these were the nicest knives I’ve seen in a kitchen. Small detail, but super important to me.

Such a clean and cozy space! The enclosed patio and hot tub were great for sunset viewing, kitchen was fully stocked, and just an overall great spot.
Chelsea was one of the greatest host to work with! Anything we needed she answered immediately. Me and my husband spent our honeymoon here and couldn’t have asked for anything more. There is wildlife of course, bears, doe and bucks, many squirrels.

This place was perfect for us, although we were not in it much, mostly in the evenings before bed, but the view was perfect and so peaceful. The king bed was ok for us, but everyone has a different comfort when it comes to beds. We truly enjoyed our stay and the drive to Blue Ridge or Ellijay was a quick and easy one. Approximately 15-20 if that to each town. So if you're looking to get away into nature but still want the ease of going to dinner for an evening out in town this is perfect.

Loved this cabin on Cherry Log Mountain. My favorite was the screen porch. No bugs made the hot tub more enjoyable and just rocking and watching the sunset was total relaxation. This cabin is small, but perfect for a couple or very small family. Will definitely recommend to friends!

Perfect mountain escape The cabin is in a perfect location. Close to town and many activities. It was extremely clean had everything we needed in the kitchen. The grill outside was perfect for making dinner on. The hot tub was relaxing at night to sit in. The screened in porch was perfect for just drinking wine and watching the view. We went white water rafting, tubing, blueberry picking, into the wineries. We hiked up to swing bridge. Wish we were there longer. We did see a bear walk past the cabin One night and deer. The only negative thing I would have to say is the master bedroom’s bed is very soft. Otherwise it had everything we needed and we were very happy and would be back. Holly, Cesar, Riley
