Our second visit this year! We love everything about this house. I will keep renting it until I can convince the owner to sell it to me!

the most aesthetically pleasing house i’ve stayed in. my girls and i did not want to leave! a ton of privacy too. i want to go back asap!

We had a great time. The place was clean and beautiful.

Wow… We have stayed in quite a few luxury houses upstate, and this is probably my favorite. The pictures don’t do it justice. All design touches are artfully curated and intentional; plenty of space to relax, read, cook - whatever you decide; you’re immersed in nature with all of the floor to ceiling windows, yet it feels like a private sanctuary; and the house is less than 15 min away from both Woodstock and Saugerties with many fantastic restaurants and unique shopping. It was the perfect anniversary weekend away. We would stay here again and again. Thank you so much!

Beautiful, prestige home! Close to everything Woodstock and saugerties has to offer.

The home is lovely and spacious. There is not a couch in the home to sit and relax, they do have padded benches - but not a couch. The appliances were difficult to work, not intuitive and there were no instructions left for how to use them. I searched on line and was able to find the manual for the dishwasher but the cooktop was never resolved. I reached out to Red Cottage via text on our last evening. While they did get back to me it was too late in the stay to resolve when they needed pictures of the appliance

We had a great stay! It's about 20 minutes from close by towns, extremely modern and clean, and has a great wrap around deck. Would stay again!

Stylish techie haven. Gorgeous design and attention to design detail. Obviously no expense was spared even on appliances, lighting, furnishings, etc. The place is like a living catalogue of the highest technology. We had no problem with the previously mentioned ants. The house is newly built and that can disturb the ants in any area. Just wipe up any spills and crumbs. You should be aware that the neighbors would like you to drive about 10 mph on the road coming in. They will remind you if you overstep! Ten stars for everything. We are spoiled for any other vacation rental.

It’s perfect in every way. If it ever comes up for sale I will be first in line.

Wonderful cottage. We had a great time

Very nice home tucked back in the woods. A few things stood out that made our stay less than 5*. The listing doesn't mention the large speed bumps on the gravel road in. Our sedan bottomed out multiple times going over them no matter how we tried to adjust or go slowly over them. SUV required regardless of weather (we visited in summer). There were ants in nearly every room of the house. While we understand bugs are around in the woods, we'd expect measures to be taken to prevent them swarming the kitchen counter. While the management company was responsive, they didn't really do anything to solve problems or acknowledge the impact to our stay. We weren't looking for anything from them - we don't like hosts coming into our space - but they were dismissive of things that were inconvenient and I'd expect to be taken care of given the cost, like having more than one dishwasher pod for a multi-day stay. Overall the home is lovely but felt like it needed more attention between stays.

Stunning place. Everything you would expect from the pictures and even better. It’s peaceful and quiet. Love the design in the bedroom with window in the ceiling. You could look at the stars at night from your bed. The shampoo and conditioner was also surprisingly great. My hair was soft and smooth after use. Overall, worth every penny and come back again for this!

Lovely pristine home high on style

We loved our stay at the house! The thoughtful details and modern amenities were nice. We were very comfortable and not too far from different towns we wanted to explore in the area. Would recommend!

Lovely relaxing stay

Beautiful and modern space with peaceful wooded surroundings. Well equipped kitchen if you wanted to cook. Very responsive hosts and convenient to Kingston, Saugerties and even Hudson. Had a wonderful stay and would book again!

We stayed here for a weekend and had a wonderful experience. Red Cottage was easy to communicate with and the space is beautifully designed. We spent most of the trip enjoying the home and its surroundings but popped into nearby Woodstock and Kingston for dinners and exploring. Would def come back.
