The location of this space is great. While this apartment may be considered spacious for some, it was a tight fit for our young family (5-month old baby that comes with A LOT of stuff!) The space was clean and tidy upon arrival. The check-in and check-out instructions were easy to follow. Best of all, Nick & Anna were incredibly easy to communicate with...extremely responsive to our queries and willing to help make everything absolutely perfect for our stay.
The place is much smaller than it appears on the listing. The bed is comfortable but the sheets are terrible. They don’t fit the bed so you end up sleeping on the mattress. The wifi is worse than terrible. It was extremely hard to get my work done. The place is very very hot even with windows open. The location isn’t the greatest and we were often woken up to screaming outside. The tenant in the unit below was also yelling and swearing all night for on of our nights. Nick and Anna are very nice and have great communication so I’m sad to say the unit isn’t the greatest.
Great place with all included, except laundry. Bathroom is cute and tiny; only thing tho is that the door is bifold, so it’s weird to me. Very clean and neat.
Nick and Anna’s Airbnb is in a great location, near the market and parliament - this was the best feature of the unit. The unit itself was much smaller than we had expected based on the photos we saw on the listing. The bathroom toilet is placed between two walls where you can barely fit to sit on the toilet. The king size bed is comfortable, but lacked a fitted sheet. Instead, a flat sheet was placed sloppily over the protective mattress cover and didn’t actually fit the bed. This meant the protective mattress cover was exposed on some areas of the bed and we would have had to lie directly on it, an uncomfortable feeling when the cover had some obvious red crusty stains on it, ones that have obviously never been washed. We asked the hosts for a fitted sheet to address this issue during our stay and their response was that they didn’t have one for our bed…. Something they could have easily bought for the unit at a Walmart nearby, which is what we ended up having to do, out of our own pocket. The parking option is very expensive, 20$/night. The internet delivered a very poor connection and was not reliable enough to do simple tasks such as check emails, open web pages, etc. The unit itself lacked in cleanliness, many of the cutlery and dishware had stains on them, and upon arriving at the Airbnb, our dog found some leftover sunflower seeds on the bedroom floor, from a previous guest. We also found dirty socks under the bed, from a previous guest. Finally, the unit smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Unfortunately the above issues caused our stay to be less than comfortable. This was my first ever Airbnb experience where I have had to give a poor review.

Great location minutes to walking to the byward the only thing is the shower, very small water goes everywhere. Needs a new shower head.

We really enjoyed this airbnb! The pictures gave the assumption that this room would be quite spacious, however it was quite small. The price of the airbnb definitely fit the quality of the place itself. Quite noisy at night because of the location but in general was a nice stay! Nick and Anna were very responsive and open to any feedback and suggestions as well as made the check in and out process extremely smooth. Thanks again for a beautiful stay, we will definitely consider this place next time we visit!
The location was fantastic. Easy walking distance to downtown sites & the Byward Market. The suite would not be practical for elderly or people with mobility issues. A very narrow staircase to enter and an extremely compact toilet and shower stall. Although the pictures were accurate, we did not expect a spacious modern 1 bedroom suite to not have any seating other than 2 kitchen chairs.

Will be coming back Positive: Very clean and exactly how described. Great hosts as well they made things very easy by being helpful in answering questions we had promptly. I would recommend this place to everyone. Negative: Nothing it was great.
Great location close to byward market and surrounding attractions. Host was quick to respond and very accommodating.
These hosts were fantastic. The place was as advertised, but when the digital lock started acting up on Christmas day, these hosts answered my call in no time. This is going above and beyond for airBnB. It was resolved in no time !! These are great hosts who actually care about their guests. I would recommend staying with them at any of their location. 5 stars for the stay and 6 stars for their personalization.

My wife and I brought our dog with us to Ottawa for a mini vacation before the Christmas Holidays. A pet friendly Airbnb! Nick & Anna were incredibly responsive. We were very impressed at how fast they got back to us and how they were very willing to assist in any of our questions or concerns. The location is wonderful. It was literally a 2-3 minute walk to the byward market with all the shops. 10 minute walk to parliament hill. Parking is an additional fee behind the building, but very much worth it as it gives peace of mind as parking in downtown Ottawa can be quite chaotic. Very cozy older apartment, great fit for 1-2 people. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need so you can prepare your own meals if you do not want to eat out every meal. Some downsides: you cannot control the temperature of the apartment at all, so we had to keep the windows open all night - the apartment was very hot. This lead to us hearing everything outside and allowing the streetlight to pour in while we slept. Lastly, the bathroom is quite small. If anyone is slightly bigger (180lbs +or with broad shoulders) you will have immense difficulty sitting on the toilet. It is very cramped. The shower is just big enough to stand in and was very difficult to control water temperature - scalding or freezing. These small things are something to consider for longer duration stays. We had a great stay overall!

The location was perfect as it was a 10 minute walk to the mall, Byward Market and plenty of restaurants/bars nearby, my only slight bother was the direction the showerhead was facing made it a little awkward to shower but it didn't really affect my stay! The hosts responded quickly whenever I needed to contact them and they gave me clear direct instructions before check in.
