Worth it

Check in was the biggest problem and communication otherwise good

There was also no volume control for the TV. Not on the remote. Not on the TV. Very frustrating. Positive: The person at the corner store where I was to collect the keys (identified as the place to go if there were problems) was exceptionally helpful. Otherwise, I don't think I'd have got in. Negative: When I went to click the required link to complete the process for my Boarding Pass the link had been removed from the email. The phone number I was given provided no help at all. Thank goodness the name of the corner store was available.

The appt location works for proximity to places around. Poor customer service, save yourself the headache. The pictures look better than the actual place , basic place with old towels. The listing clearly does not tell you everything until a day before check in. They use a different website for instructions outside of Airbnb. I was sent a different address at an Indian Bazaar Market where I had to pick up the Appt key. The owner /manager at the market who handed the key insisted that ‘I must ‘ bring back the Key to same location on checkout despite explaining that I had an early morning 7am flight at Toronto which is an hour drive. He then rudely said they open by 5am and will be there for me to drop the key after checkout. All this information was clearly withheld on booking and sent as checkin info the day prior. So imagine my frustration with my bag from Toronto airport and having to transport first to a different place for key to banter words with a rude older Indian Man.

We had a great stay at Hazel and Taylor’s Airbnb. The place was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Their communication was amazing from start to finish, making everything easy. We’d definitely stay here again!
