Modern Catskills Retreat w/ Sauna Near Woodstock — Guest Reviews

Jill and Patrick’s place was convenient and beautiful. It was a very functional first floor and private bedrooms, everything clean and pretty. The house was set in in the woods close to the town of Saugerties. We really enjoyed our stay there and would definitely recommend it to others. The kitchen was sparkling clean and well set up with nice appliances, plates, pots and everything you needed to create a meal.

Great place to stay! Lovely home, very cozy, close to hiking trails and Woodstock, and gracious hosts. One thing to note for future guests (this is not a criticism, just important info) the house is well insulated which means the temperature inside won't drop simply by lowering the heat. If you want the house to cool down overnight you need to use the cool air conditioner to get the temperature down otherwise it might be too hot while sleeping.

Great house in a beautiful, quiet location. The kitchen/dining/fireplace area was great, perfect for our party of six to hang out, eat, sit by the fire, listen to music, and still all be together. The TV room had the most comfortable couch, and again perfect for all of us to comfortably enjoy a scary movie :) The outdoor area was beautiful, spacious, peaceful and secluded. All the "extras" like the fire pit, the sauna, the fireplace inside were just the cherry on top of the cake. This was a great location, an amazing house, and we will definitely book to stay here again.

Perfect house yet again for a week at the horse show in Saugerties. So peaceful to come back to every day!

We enjoyed our stay at Jill & Patrick’s lovely home. They were great hosts and were very responsive and helpful when an issue arose, helping us to resolve it quickly. Our kids loved the yard and play set. We loved the fire pit! The house is very well stocked and clean, and was a short drive from everywhere we needed to be.

This house was lovely. The house had great space, beds were comfortable, and it was on a very quiet lot. Also, it was in a convenient location between Saugerties and Woodstock. Owners were very responsive and helpful as well. Only downside is that there is no washer & dryer at the house. This was my fault for not knowing, as it does say in the amenities section "laundromat" for washer and dryer, but just worth noting to others. We were only there for 2 days, so it was not a problem for us, but if we were there longer, it would have been. With that being said, I would definitely stay here again!

Jill and Patrick's home was the perfect escape for us two families to spend a weekend in nature! The gorgeous home was not only beautiful but also comfortable and homey. The space was an ideal layout for four parents and four kids with plenty of beds, table settings and dishware. The outdoor space with also a dream, watching groundhogs, birds and even a baby bear in the woods from their patio. Their contact Kiera was quick to respond to any questions we had and the location was perfect for visits to the surrounding cute towns and hiking trails. We highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable upstate escape!

We came up with our kids for Thanksgiving and had a great time. The house is very comfortable & clean, a few minutes to Saugerties and quite close to Woodstock. The kitchen is well-stocked, there's a great stereo to stream to, a big tv and ample space for everyone to gather. We'd love to come back!
