Beautiful place to stay for work

Beautiful place, great balcony views, very comfortable and clean plus high speed internet. Easy to access and not far from everyday necessities. Would definitely stay again

It was great, would recommend this place anytime. Positive: You have your own space for your stay in Hamilton. Negative: Coming into the building it smells like marijuana and smoke.

This location is in an old building the halls and elevator smelled like cigarette smoke. The people were friendly and the apartment looked exactly like the pictures. It was cozy and quaint. The neighbors were a bit noisy at certain times of the day but not too bad. The WiFi connection was not great but Nelson was very responsive when I let him know.

The place is cool and was ideal for my stay.

Nelson was very helpful, friendly, and responsive. Check-in and check-out was easy, getting a parking spot was a simple process thanks to Nelson, and the place was similar to the photos.

I am still staying at the building, as I have extended my stay. Positive: Quiet, and you have your own space. Negative: Hallways were smoky (cigarette and marijuana) odour.

Catfished Positive: Location, it was clean Negative: The apartment layout, along with every piece of furniture, was not what the photos showed in any way.

Amazing and friendly communication as well as prompt responses! I stayed at this property twice now and will always pick this as number 1 when needing accommodations. The property was clean and cozy.

Great place to stay provided the residents in surrounding apartments aren't crazy. We had a wonderful 4 days here and was a great place to relax and unwind together after everything we were doing around town the first few days. The kitchen is very well stocked pan and utensil wise. We were missing a can opener but we're able to easily get one and left it for future guests. All in all it was a great stay with just a couple minor hiccups that didn't negatively impact the stay in any big way.

Enjoyed my stay. Flexible with check in/out and easy to communicate. Bus station right outside. Clean.

The apartment reflects the photos given. It is in an older building however the apartment is spotless- extremely clean. Great for a short stay.

The house is cool, my only problem was the seating room chair , it looks old and need to be change. Apart from that the out view was very nice. And all was very nice.

This stay worked out very well for us. It was close to family for visits. Clean and well maintained.

The 3 stars is strictly because 4 star wouldn’t allow me to address this. The unit pictured in the ad is not the unit I was in. The only reason it is an issue for me was due to the balcony facing the main intersection. I happen to notice afterwards this is a possibility with the listing. Other than that, the place is great and definitely worth the price point. Would recommend

Clean and organized.

Positive: Place was clean kitchen had everything you could need.i liked having the balcony to sit and have my morning coffee Negative: Neighborhood dogs were a bit loud at times sometimes sounded like they were trying to get at eachother

Nelson was a great and responsive host!

Quiet and relaxing for the most part. Positive: The bed was comfortable and the sunlight coming through the windows was pleasant. Negative: No, hand soap in the the washroom to wash your hands after using thebathroom. We just added any of the light supplies to our grocery list to maintain the cleanliness. Bugs where found in the kitchen around the drain which turned me off from cooking for the most part. That was probably the most disliked thing from the stay.

Never again Positive: It was terrible the pictures don’t look anything like the actual apartments Negative: The Neighbourhood was terrible. The hallway smelled like cigarettes.

Decent place, but won’t stay there again. Positive: They were responsive to my questions, the bed was comfortable. It was clean. Negative: There is no air conditioning, the outside traffic noise is loud, parking costs extra, you need to submit your ID and a selfie - and you’re expected to remove your garbage before leaving. Pictures look better than the space, especially the bathroom.

Location was easy to find due to very clear instructions. The inside of the apartment is great, however, the building is very old. You can really hear the tenants upstairs. But I was very satisfied with the accommodations overall. The host was very easy to get a hold of:)

Other than the traffic noise, everything was as described. (Host had earplugs available if needed.)Be sure to thoroughly read the description. It was an older apartment building with older building type problems, but the unit was very clean and was what we needed . The bed was extremely comfortable with plenty of pillows. Nelson was extremely prompt with communications. Easy access to Toronto and Niagara Falls. Close to grocery store and restaurants. Would choose this place again.

Sincerely this place is where I will love to come back next year if am on holiday vacation. Sweet environment.

Nelson was good to deal with, to be fair. Upon arrival, it was noted the unit had a flimsy chain to protect the patio door. Brought concerns about this to host as it appears to have been previously broken into. We asked if they could even put a 2x2 piece of wood in door for security and was told no. It says no smoking but patio full of ash and a leftover butt can. 3 people smoking crack outside on different occassions. Sign at property says F$#k the police. Def not what it appeared to be.

Worth it very quiet area…convenient…near the highway easy to go anywhere…the price is worth it…big bed love it…would come back forsure…easy to get in…and the host responds fast

A dishonest and disappointing experience-I was given a basement instead of the upstairs apartment Positive: Regarding the apartment I booked through Booking.com. I paid for the upstairs apartment, but when I arrived, I was given a basement unit instead. As this was not what I booked or paid for, I rejected the accommodation immediately and did not stay there. I have still not received my refund. Please arrange the full refund without further delay and confirm when it has been processed. Negative: Since I did not accept or stay in the apartment, I request an immediate full refund. Please confirm when the refund has been processed; otherwise, I will formally escalate the matter to Booking.com.

Terrible I would have been better sleeping in the car but I was afraid for my safety Positive: It had a tv Negative: The moment you walk out to the apartment floor the rug is old and dirty, the apartment looked clean but it was dirty the bathroom was filthy the shower head had no water pressure the towels were gross the kitchen only had 2 forks the coffee maker didn’t work the bedroom sheets and bed very old worn out I ended up buying new clean sheets and pillow the windows were old hard to open there wasn’t any extra paper towels in the kitchen the towels in the kitchen looked like they were used to wipe the floor and the worst part crack vile when I threw out the garbage

The service was good however, I found the overall experience underwhelming. The space appeared smaller than depicted in the photos, and the building itself seems very old. The location was noticeably noisy and I was disappointed I had to pay for parking. while it is not a bad place, I do not feel it offers good value for the price.

Nelson was a great host, stayed for two days but felt like I was at home still! It’s right near the Metro so it makes getting groceries for the weekend incredibly easy. Thank you again for such a great stay!

I stayed here for my friends wedding an it was a beautiful peaceful place it was very clean and put together will for sure be coming back.

it was okay the bad thing was the weather is hot and there is no AC in the bedroom and no fan to at least make it better i had a hard days of sleep

Space was cozy and quiet. However there was no ac, the fans work wonders there so the heat didn’t bother us. The host is proactive and sent all the necessary information before arrival making for a smooth and quick check in. Would definitely book again.

Negative: Elevator was not working and no air conditioning. Hard to go by stairs.

Nelson is always quick to respond, really didn’t have a problem except for internet which was a bit slow but in total everything was as expected. I will always recommend this place. And the curtains came off and he quickly intervened in less than 2 hours. Nelson is fantastic. Had a refund of days not spent as planned. What a great host. I’m definitely coming back whenever I visit Canada.

Honestly it did not match the photos. The host was an amazing and understanding host but not helpful everytime I had issues with my payment method he would recommend to rebook… which makes it seem to me you just want me to pay extra… in the end when I did rebook even if it was late the host said it was the wrong booking not the same unit and then said they were doing work in the unit which to me seems ridiculous it’s not my fault the payment system and support sucks because the support was telling me 1 thing and the host another. Anyways was able to rebook no issue it has way more understanding and better hosts regarding the issues with Airbnb

this has been a regular location of my stays because it is always consistent with its quality and safe and modern in style The hosts have been always so responsive and helpful and it is close to the highway access and throughways of the city. it is a place if you're looking to have your own peaceful, safe, independent and private space where your neighbors are quality people and everybody is as nice as the host himself. cannot say enough good things about this location. I love it so much

Disappointing experience Positive: Nothing Negative: ⭐ 1 Star – Terrible Experience Our stay at Glenview West Apartment was extremely disappointing. First, there was no air conditioning. This is completely unacceptable, especially during warm weather. We live in Canada in 2026, not decades ago, and basic amenities like air conditioning should be available. Even worse, the entire apartment and common areas had a strong cigarette smell. The odor was everywhere and impossible to ignore. When I raised the issue with management, I was told they could provide an air freshener. Air freshener does not eliminate cigarette smoke or the smell that has seeped into carpets, walls, and furniture it merely masks it temporarily. We were traveling with a baby, making the situation even more concerning. No family with young children should have to stay in an environment that smells like stale cigarette smoke. The lack of proper ventilation, the persistent cigarette odor, and the dismissive response from management made this one of the worst accommodation experiences we've had. I would not recommend this property to families, especially those with infants or anyone sensitive to smoke. Very disappointing and not worth the money. Do not stay at this location.

Negative: Got locked out in the middle of the night due to low battery and was told to just wait till morning even though all my stuff was inside.

Altogether it's comfortable to stay. Positive: it's a good place to stay. The host lady is very friendly and considerate.
