The home was very clean and the master room bed was very comfortable. The best part about it was a fully stocked kitchen with all the utensils, pots and pans, plates that you would need to host nice family dinners.

Simply the best spot for our cozy family weekend. Great kitchen and space to hang— and the fire was the perfect. Idyllic spot!
The place was quite suitable for children during our stay. The adults were able to relax and catch up downstairs while the children played upstairs. It was also wonderful to have them run around the property with no worries. Although it is close to Tivoli, Rhinebeck and Red Hook, we mostly enjoyed our time enjoying the house. The fireplace and record player were a nice addition! Would love to return in the warmer months to enjoy the pool.
Really nice house and property. Very clean when we arrived. Two core gripes. Firstly, the listing stated the pool would be ready for use and it was not. We only found out it wouldn't be ready for our arrival because we inquired. By the looks of it, the pool needed at least another month before it could be used. The pool should not have been included in the listing. Secondly, the house was meant to include a pack n play and high chair; both were nowhere to be seen. This said, Red Cottage were really solid. They reduced the price of the house due to the pool being unavailable and they rushed a pack n play to the house. They were great, but, in hindsight, we certainly would have went with another house with a pool. If the lack of pool and pack n play mishap did not occur, we would be a 5/5 stars.
The living room & kitchen area was perfect for our group of friends..watching a movie with the fireplace going and cooking a meal together. Really great “rain” shower heads! Lovely weekend getaway.
Our group of seven enjoyed the large living space - comfortable seating area, large dining table, and open kitchen. We had a great stay.
Spent a long girls weekend at this beautiful cottage with 5 friends. The space was welcoming and full of thoughtfully decorated nooks. Comfortable beds. Clean, pristine bathrooms with good products available and big towels. Kitchen had everything we needed. Location was great for exploring a few different towns (Red Hook, Rhinebeck, not too far from Kingston, Woodstock). The hosts were very friendly and responsive. We can't wait to go back during a new season to enjoy the home is a new way!
The Red Cottage was perfect for a weekend getaway with girlfriends. The space is cozy, peaceful and the amenities are great. The host/property manager was extremely responsive and helpful.
DO NOT GO HERE!!! The house was infested with rodents and there was feces everywhere as well as black mold in the lower level. We were appalled at the unsanitary conditions. We did not notice immediately except for a foul smell from the basement which we thought was just dampness. We realized the extent of black mold & rodent urine when we went into the basement to clean our master bathroom linens that were defecated and urinated on by rodents. Upon looking we found feces throughout. We were at the house for 5 days!!! It was horrifying! We reached out to the host with pictures & they did not reply to us for 2 days & Airbnb could only refund us the cleaning fee. We wanted out & a refund as we were homeless due to a house fire! When they got back to us on the day of checkout they said they couldn't do anything. After pleading with them, they decided to refund us for two days and asked us to keep that in mind when we reviewed them! What a nightmare & attempt to minimize this problem!!!
Wonderful My spouse and dog had a truly wonderful time. Nicely located to Red Hook and Rhinebeck. Quite and private retreat. Highly recommend the Milan A-frame.
Kitchen was fully equipped, other than there was no microwave, but a toaster oven. excellent communication with the staff running the vrbo, very responsive. general comment - it was March, so the ladybugs were plentiful in the house. Perhaps handle that first prior to guests in early spring

The place was beautiful and well-maintained. The proximity to Rhinebeck and Kingston was perfect. Absolutely recommend and hope to visit again!

Shannon stayed with us for a week and left the home in good condition, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, she didn’t reach out during her stay to share any concerns with us directly. Instead, we only found out through correspondence with Airbnb. We would have been more than happy to address any issues or concerns promptly, had we been contacted.
Great Time We had a great time and really enjoyed the pool. The house is beautiful and well-stocked.
we loved staying in this beautiful property the living room is a gem as well as all the outdoors sunset was absolutely gorgeous!!! hot water in the shower was incredible!
