Adorable octagonal purple home right close to the beach . House is situated with other octagaonal homes with pool in center. Plenty of room and grass to walk dogs.House was recently upgraded with newer appliances and furnishings. Very comfortable and had all I needed with my pet. Only drawback was a noisey, busy road, not the owners fault, but the city of Port Aransas for not having a noise ordinance about excessive load speakers on cars and golf carts past certain hours enforced. Would rent again.

We had an amazing stay! This little beach house was very cozy and a was great for our toddler and pet. Yes, the internet was spotty, but that just meant we had to enjoyed time at the beach rather than watching tv or using our phones. Also, thank you to the host for letting our family extend our stay by an extra day. 😊

My husband and I had a lovely time. The place was perfect despite the fact the Internet fought me the entire time. Watching tv was a constant battle. Luckily, the book selection was exactly my taste. I ended up reading an Iris Johansen novel. The beds were comfy and the house was beautiful, smelled great too! We would definitely stay again.

Overall the stay was OK. Basic accommodations for a high price. Had major issues getting into the property, waiting almost 3 hours as the lockbox was stuck/broken. Communication was good but it didn’t seem like the rental company and property management speak to each other. They were generous with a late checkout so that was a plus. Lots of new rules are shared after entering the property. We had wifi issues all weekend. Streaming is a no go - couldn’t watch TV, use ipads or phone and we had to be on data. This was communicated to Sand Key. We stayed at a different property across the street on an earlier trip and had no issues so it’s not the island. Will book elsewhere in the future.

Our stay at Maui East was perfect! Such a chilled vibe, exceptionally clean and roomy! Love the location. Did get to enjoy the pool, very peaceful. Highly recommend a stay here!

It's a wonderful house but for the late check in of 4pm and the early check out of 10am, the price was a little steep. The road is super busy and was very loud. The house is very well kept up and the upgrades are nice!

The place was cozy and felt like home rather than a hotel. Walking distance to the beach and right off the main st. Fun time!!

This is our third time staying here. Our family absolutely loves this home because of its great location. The house is adorable and there is plenty of space to walk our two dogs. We also love that the AC works well and keeps us nice and cool when we are relaxing after the beach. We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, clean home that I would highly recommend. The management company was responsive and accommodating anytime we needed something. We did have an unexpected air conditioning issue during our stay, and while it wasn’t ideal, they worked hard to resolve it and kept us informed throughout the process. By the time we were leaving, it appeared the issue had been fixed. Sometimes things happen that are beyond anyone’s control, and we appreciated their responsiveness and genuine effort to make things right. We truly enjoyed our stay overall and hope to return in the near future.

My daughters and I loved the this spot! And the color of the house I’d just perfect beach vibes for sure! Cannot wait to come back!

Very clean, conveniently located for beach, shopping, and restaurants. The layout and size of the property worked well for the two of us and our 14 pound pup. Kitchen was appointed with basics, and worked for what we needed. Loved the convenience of linens being included! Close enough to walk to the beach, or get the beach parking pass and park there with your gear. We hope to return one day!

This was one of the best beach houses we have stayed in! Everything looks just like the pictures!! If I had to complain about anything (nothing huge) I would want a TV in the master bedroom. We will definitely be back to this house!

Amazing place to stay, walking distance to the beach

We would definitely stay at the Maui East again. It was as nice as the pictures showed. There was no problem with noise despite the location on a busy road!

The house was perfect for our family’s annual fishing trip! Plenty of room for us and had everything we needed!

We've stayed in a number of vacation rentals in Port A and this was by far our favorite yet. Sunday Villas is just adorable. It was quiet and the location cannot be beat--so close to the beach, and close enough to hop down to the main hub in Port A without any hubbub or noise. The house was spotless and such a fun layout. The pillows and beds were super comfortable. One note, which is something that some people probably love--the detergent used to wash the bed linens was quite scented, so if you're sensitive to that, maybe bring your own pillow or just ask the host ahead of time to swap the linens out (I didn't do that, just because it would have been too much hassle and I had brought an extra pillow.) The pool is great--some of the condos in Port A have these wildly shallow pools, but this one had enough depth that the kids could jump in. The view from the deck is fantastic. The cooktop is glass, which we're not used to, so keep that in mind. All in all, loved our stay here!

I will never stay here again or recommend to anyone. The couch in photos wasn’t same couch nor did the couch accommodate sleeping it just has a pullout ottoman and is hard as a rock. Uncomfortable!!! The ad gives the illusion of 3 sleeping rooms only has 2 and the bunk beads also so uncomfortable couldn’t sleep well. Too expensive for 2 nights that cost me over 800.00 and I asked over and over all the way up to the day of check out for a late check out and kept getting empty promises of getting back to me and never did which was very rude especially since I spent so much money and was my worst experience ever with an Airbnb and I will be staying at a hotel next time that has free breakfast and doesn’t cost so much that has pool and hot tub like the Plantation Hotel way better than your Airbnb and doesn’t charge for my exceptionally well behaved dogs that don’t shed and act like humans my emotional support family..

Easy walk to the beach, bathroom shower was amazing! Close to everything you need. Would stay again.

We are so glad we stayed at this house instead of a hotel. It was so close to the beach, many restaurants, and shops. The area has a small pool that my child liked and had grassy areas for my dogs. We hope to stay here again!

Sunday Villas is a great place to stay. Easy walk to the beach. Sand Key was very responsive and a great host. Would definitely recommend and would stay with them again.

The location is ideal for a Port A vacation, precisely as shown in the photos. We strongly encourage booking without any hesitation. The host's excellent reputation warrants a higher rating, and a closer examination of their reviews indicates that any lower ratings are unwarranted. We will most definitely stay again.

Clean and lovely house The house was nicer even than we expected based on the pictures, more roomy and with an appealing layout, and there is a second small balcony in addition to the entry porch area which doubles as a 2nd-floor deck. We really liked the place and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The beach it is near is wide and is pretty easy to walk to in 5 mins. if you don't mind using a technically private boardwalk off adjacent Anchor Road that belongs to the next neighborhood, or you can drive to it along Sand Castle Road (off of the street the house is on) in about 3-4 mins. Driving to the main business area of the town is straightforward and takes 5 mins. In making the reservation, there was a problem with the 3rd-party identity verification service the manager uses (verifyhub.org), which would not properly upload images of my driver's license over a period of several hours, and all the manager could do was keep telling me to try things I was already trying, so that was frustrating while we tried to finalize the reservation. I believe the management company should consider not using this service since it is not in their control, and accept texted or emailed images of i.d. as most other hosts do. But after getting through that, communication was good, directions to the property were straightforward, entry was no problem, and everything was lovely and fine once we arrived. We would stay there again.

The house was exactly as advertised. There was no extra items like salt, pepper etc. but they did have all of the staples like pots, pans, containers, utensils. The house was very clean and close to everything. We had a great time and would come back.

We spent two nights here mid September and really enjoyed it. There was plenty of space for a family of 4. The balconies were great for coffee and we'll bring steaks for the grill next time!

No bad at all Place was nice for the most part. No extra blankets or pillows. Breaker switch for the kitchen and main TV were off and I had to address it myself. Only 1 car would fit somewhat easly under the house in the driveway.

Labor Day weekend House was in good shape and comfortable This was a sister's get together . We enjoyed staying here . I do have to say that there seemed to be a few things ( rules) that came after booking . Just to beware . Over all it was just a moment. And we did enjoy being here .

Perfect getaway We absolutely loved our trip to Port A… the place was perfect for us. The management company was very accommodating, the place was clean and fully stocked, and the location to town and the beach was great! We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Expensive I’ve stayed at this property 5-6 times since 2019 under different management groups. We really enjoy the place. This time, however, the code for check in was not sent and I had to call and ask for it. The representative was not friendly and had much attitude when telling me it was sent when it clearly was not. After going in circles, she finally said she would just tell me the code. Aside from that, the price was the highest I’ve ever paid per night with bare minimums. Sadly, I won’t be staying there again.

Misleading property description. You know that game where you say two truths and a lie? The property title says: "Sun Deck" - this is true, "3 Blocks to Beach", this is also true, and "Golf Cart" - this is only true with some qualifiers. The property does not provide a golf cart for your use. If you ask (after check in) they will clarify that what they "meant" was golf cart accessible. Which it is. Accessible for rental golf carts. Which is overlooks the fact that Golf Cart and Golf Cart Accessible are two different things. Also, 1 star because messaging with Sand Key is terribly slow. Very unresponsive.

Excellent vacation The stay was perfect. The property was as advertised. No issues with the house, appliances, furniture, community pool, or neighborhood. Location was as advertised 3 blocks from beach, and easy to get to by golf cart.

Family Vacation We had a great stay … we love Port A and will definitely be back !!!

Family Friendly and Close to the Beach This was a great rental for our family of four and dog. Very clean and bright; kids loved the cool layout. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, etc. Bring your own spices, oil, consumables. Beds were comfortable. Pool was a short walk from house and was small, but clean. If you are traveling here in summer don’t forget your big spray as the mosquitoes are relentless. That has nothing to do with the property, though. Just a part of summer on the Texas coast. Overall we had a great time here and were sad to leave.

The perfect size for a small family. It was a very nice place to stay easy to the shops downtown and the restaurants. Beach access is very easy... Just a great location.

Wonderful Perfect little house for 2 people for a holiday weekend. No issues what-so-ever with this place.

Last minute they charge 50 dollars fee not refundable for any damages that’s ridiculous It was bed bugs Never reserve again bad service

The home was clean and within walking distance to the beach, sadly there were a few problems we had one was the washer smelled of mold , has mold along with pet hairs, two master bed room shower doesn’t drain quickly enough therefore you have a good size puddle of dirty soapy water when you are ready to get out, also the ad states golf cart, be prepared to rent one. Lastly you need to verify your details and complete your booking validation before your stay so be prepared to pay $50. Check out is insane at 10am.

Great home to stay it look forward to staying in it again

Great location and house was very clean. Host was very quick to respond. Only two issues we had was there is no water pressure to the kitchen faucet and the internet would not connect to the TV. The TV kept shutting off. Would stay here again.

The house is in a great location and very clean and comfortable. There were only 2 of us but it could have easily accommodated 5 comfortably. We would stay here again.

Really enjoyed our stay at this lovely condo. Close to everything. Clean and newly redecorated. Quiet neighborhood. Host was very responsive to questions. We were not able to use pool due to rain during our stay but look clean and inviting.

The property was perfect for our weekend girls trip. They had everything we needed to make our own meals as there are not a lot of restaurants that stay open late in Port A. We had a great time and would definitely rent this home again.
