We had to find a new place to stay after the Hurricane shut down Dauphin Island…it was very last minute but the house was very clean and well stocked with anything you would need and was more than enough space for all of us…all we had to do was pick up groceries. There was plenty of games for entertainment and nice televisions to watch some football! There’s a bit of a drive to get to anything so be sure you grab anything you may need on the way in. It’s a very peaceful area and the hosts are so very helpful and respond quickly with any questions you might have. I Definitely recommend!!

Overall the place was nice but upon arrival and unpacking the kids found mouse droppings and a couple cockroaches in the drawers . The lower level doors were covered in spider webs so much as I had to get a broom to sweep them down so we could walk through them . The master bath sink was painted and the paint was bubbling up and pealing . The upper level bathroom sink was mostly clogged and draining very slow. Oven didn’t work and never did get resolved even after 3 days of begging . Outdoor grill was filthy and only burned about half open as the burners were clogged . Just don’t feel like Kyle and Nicole did much to help other than lip service promising but not coming through. Again nothing was deal breaking but not as one would hope for when spending that kind of money .

Megan and team were very responsive. The location was perfect next to the East Port Marina. Huge place with lots of beds so easily fit our family of 20.

The cabin was stunning! We all enjoyed every bit of our stay and would definitely love to come again!

Great Property, I came here for my bachelor party which was a boat trip to the marina which was lovely and only half a mile down the road. Would love to come back for a family gathering as there was so many beds and places to hang out. The hot tub was amazing and clean, the kitchen, 2 fridges, Television, Game Room, and property were all perfect. One of the best VRBO's I've ever stayed at. The process was seamless and great for us.

My family had an amazing time during our random get-a-way. Megan was very responsive and got us booked same day. There were only a few things we missed which was the beds were very uncomfortable. Hockey table didn’t work. Missed having a pool table. Other than that everything was amazing and on point.

Megan was an incredible host responsive, professional, and genuinely caring. We ran into a few minor issues during our stay, but she handled everything immediately and made sure we were taken care of. The home itself was perfect for our large group during a work event spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend staying here and working with Megan. She truly went above and beyond!

Outstanding property for our stay

Megan was extremely helpful and always responded immediately. While I believe this is a newer listing, there were a few things that could have been improved. We had an issue with one of the bathrooms when we checked in, Megan sent out plumbers right away! The problems with the house did not outweigh the hospitality that we received. We would definitely book with her again. The house was perfect fit for our 18 family members. Thanks Megan, for a great vacay.

The house was incredible. The pictures in the app don’t do its size justice. There’s so much space. It’s a beautiful and very well accommodated house tucked up the hill from the lake. The East Port Marina is a 2 minute drive from the house which made it perfect for relaxing after a day on the lake. Can’t recommend this place enough!

5 stars Property was great location and even better amenities. Everything was exactly as advertised and described. Slept 24 COMFORTABLY and had plenty of activities for my family ages 2-70. Check in and check out process was seamless. Highly recommend.

This place was an absolute gem.

The Alpine Lodge was a comfortable and affordable option for our family reunion. Communication was easy, and the property lived up to our hopes. The extra refrigerator and 2 long dining room tables made food prep, meals, and games possible with a large group participating. The living room's warm ambience and comfortable couches provided an ideal place for our many conversations. The charming deck was perfect for enjoying an early summer afternoon rain. We had been eyeing this property for some time, and we're so glad that we finally grabbed the opportunity to stay there!

The cabin was beautiful with lots of space to fit our family of 17 plus service animal. Quiet and secluded awesome outside scenery couple of fire pits that we used to make s’mores at night for everyone. We did have issue with the outside propane grill and fire place not working but host was quick to respond and offered suggestions and to send someone out we just used charcoal pit instead no biggie. There was plenty of kitchen water utensils and pans and pots etc to cook with and having 2 fridges worked excellent for us with a big family. Overall we enjoyed our stay and host was very friendly and responsive we would def stay again.

Family Trip We had 16 people aged 1 year old - late 70's. The separate bedrooms were great for privacy. Having 2 bedrooms on the main floor was great for our members with some mobility issues. Having a high chair and pack and play provided was very convenient. We enjoyed the porch, hot tub, and games in the basement. We loved the 2 big dining tables. It was great for the whole group to eat together. It's frustrating with some houses that "sleep 24" but have multiple bunk rooms and seating for 8 people to eat together. This place had enough private spaces and group spaces for everyone to enjoy time together and apart. It's a little tricky to get to on narrow, unfamiliar country roads the first time. GPS is spotty at times. Make sure you have directions beforehand. It's 2 minutes from East Port Marina. We had a great day on the lake on a tritoon boat. The staff there are friendly and helpful for inexperienced boat drivers. We had a great time. I would recommend this property for other large groups.

Megan was very helpful and did good on responding back when we needed her. Nice place for family time! Peaceful and quiet. We loved the house and enjoyed the quiet time.

Booked this to spend a blended Thanksgiving with my family and my finance’s family, only to find the venue was DOUBLE BOOKED. Be careful booking here. We had to wait in the cold for 2 hours with groceries waiting for Airbnb to help us figure out what to do. In the end we had to find a place on our own. Horrible experience.
