Great location. Property was dated and some maintenance needed to be done but the rental price reflected that. As my wife would say, I am at the beach. Just give me a place to lay my head at night.

We were sceptical about our stay before arriving because of reviews on the home being outdated and dirty. Could the home be updated sure, but it is still a great house. The home was very clean when we arrived. The location was great. We spent every single day at the house and never got tired of being there. It fit 4 adults and 4 kids perfectly. We hated to leave. Would definitely recommend booking for anyone with a family.

We enjoyed our stay at Lotus Blossom. The property is a bit dated but we understood that upon booking and enjoyed the discount compared to updated properties of the same size. I was worried at the negative reviews that kept popping up before our trip but upon arrival, we saw we had nothing to worry about. The place was very clean with plenty of bathrooms for our group. The furniture in the living room was fairly new and comfortably seated our party of 9. The kitchen was well stocked with cookingware and utensils. Most rooms in the property had smart TVs which were easy to connect to your personal accounts. As southerners, we were terrified of an AC that cannot go below 72 degrees but were surprised to find that we were quite chilly most days and actually kept it higher. Most importantly, the beach location was beautiful and not crowded. I’d like to address some concerns brought up in other reviews. The tile floor in the kitchen is coming up and shifting. They are clearly updating the property in phases and haven’t gotten to this. It wasn’t a problem for the elderly or disabled in our group but if you had a crawling baby or someone with severe mobility issues, I can see where it would be a dealbreaker. The upper deck appears to be in bad shape. From below you can see it is in need of some work. We didn’t use it at all and stayed on the lower deck. The boardwalk is for the condos across the street but we didn’t notice any additional noise and loved the convenience it offered us while walking to the beach. We did not notice the shaking described in other reviews. Lastly, the pictures other reviewers posted of holes and other damages to walls, ceilings, etc. were tiny in reality. We literally had to search for them to see them and were only looking cause of those reviews. None of these issues were a big deal for us because again, we knew we were getting a property much cheaper than it’s updated neighbors. We thoroughl

We had a great vacation with a few minor inconveniences while staying at Lotus Blossom. The house was in a great location, spectacular views and right on the beach. There was not a functioning ice maker in the house which is problematic when the temperature is in the upper 80’s. We had to go purchase ice daily. There was not a TV in every bedroom and the refrigerator leaked water out of the bottom occasionally. Other than that it was perfect for my family of 8.

My family and I escaped to the beach for Thanksgiving and had a enjoyable time. We had no problem accessing the unit and found it to a little outdated but very spacious. There was a little concern about the lock on the door and it appeared to need some repair but we used the back door. We enjoyed being on the beach. It was a good trip for all of us.

You couldn't beat the location and access to the beach, that was fantastic. The layout of the house worked great for our family of 8. Having a washer and dryer was nice too.

The location is great, if you are going to spend all your time at the beach. The house is nice but would benefit greatly from some maintenance and modernization.

Location and beach were great!

Spur of the moment trip. Was excited to find a house versus a condo. All transactions went smoothly, no issues at all. Would definitely rent again.

The Lotus Blossom is in the perfect location for a peaceful beach vacation. The beach is only a few steps away. The house was exactly what we expected and very clean. The host responded quickly to our questions and there are plently off attractions and great resturants close by. I would definitely recommend the Lotus Blossom to friends and family.

The property description is accurate, but I feel like some of the photos are misleading. The cover shot is from the community walkway next to the house. The master bedroom the furniture is pushed over to make the room look larger. The house is bare, very minimally stocked, not even a sponge or salt & pepper. The house was clean, but the deck was sandy. When I swept it I found a raiser blade. This property is not well maintained, which reflects on the owner, not the management company. They seem very uninterested in the management companies suggestions. Aside from outdated decor, appliances & paint, the house needs some structural work. It sways in the wind & the metal brackets under the house are all rusted out. The management company was ver responsive. The drain in the master shower was very slow, they had a tech out same day to fix it. On a later date, a tech showed up, unannounced & didn’t introduce himself, or say he was there to work. My girls were playing in the sand & suddenly there was a random dude in our yard next to them. It was a little jolting, my momma bear senses were on high alert. He fixed some boards in the walkway to the outside shower & left. I would not recommend this property to a friend at this time. I would not stay here again. The swaying needs to be addressed. It is more unnerving than it actually is a problem structurally, but when you feel it, it’s hard to be rational about it, emotions take over. Also, the hurricane brackets are all rusted under the house, so in severe weather, this house might not be safe. As far as things to do near the house, the sky is the limit. The location is great. We rode jet skis, went on a dolphin tour, enjoyed time in town, spent days at the beach, searched for crabs at night, wine on an alligator airboat tour, road the car ferry to dauphin island & more. Much fun was had by all.
