Overall. Not even a good stay. Never again. Communication and complaint with the host was awful as it started on their site. After three notes, they were all wiped out!!! No one called back.Also, it advertises near the beach, walking distance. It is more than 1.5 miles. How can you carry beach stuff ?
This rental would be great for young couples with kids and pet. We are elderly and had no tv because you need subscriptions to nexflix or others to sign on to watch tv. We have none so had no tv. We filtered our water with water filter we carry but still tasted like mud. This wasnt just this cottage as coffee from local restaurants tasted muddy too.
Was a nice stay. Cute little cottage. However I didn’t like the door was see thru. Or the bedroom door window wasn’t secured with a blind that you could see thru.
Cottage was unsecured for two days, keypad lock was broken. Husband and i both got bitten by a spider in bed. Ants were in bathroom, and in the bed. Cockroach’s some dead some alive. Good space for the money just needs fumigation and sealed around doors. Backyard was perfect for the dogs. Someone came in the gate at night spit out tobacco on the patio and there was also a blunt on the ground.

This is third house we have stayed in Spanish Village. Love the location. Seems like there is always something a little off with these homes. Sand Key seems to have a disconnect with their housekeepers which could prevent all the problems we have had. This time the shower head was broken, reported and not fixed. We had to tape it up in order to use it….
For a week away this place was great! It’s a great location, a walk away from some great restaurants. Not too far away from the beach.
Well, I do not like complaining however, there is NO laundry facilities. I found this out after walking through sticker patches holding all of my laundry. The Shower is broken, this was frustrating and there were dead bugs in the silverware drawer. The TV in the front room did not work. The internet was broken half the week. Other than all of this, it was ok. I will stay somewhere else next time.
My husband, dogs, and I had a wonderful time. This was exactly the small place we needed for our quick stay. The backyard was nice and big for the dogs to hang out. The only grip we had was the share amount of mosquitoes that were everywhere and the neighboring cottages. Was only a problem when we walked our dogs around the residence, some owners are not as attentive with their dogs, and we had a few instances where a larger (seemingly aggressive) dog would try to jump over a fence to get our dogs. The fences for some properties are pretty low, so just take that into consideration.
Lorna Beach Cottage was a wonderful place to stay! I would recommend to others!

I always enjoy staying in this area, which is why I return often. However, this particular property was my least favorite experience so far.There were several issues that made the stay uncomfortable. The home did not have dresser drawers, and there were no hot pads available for the oven. We also encountered bugs in the rooms. The bedroom window had been left open, and it was very difficult to close—it took me about a day and a half to figure out how to secure it properly.Cleanliness and preparation could also be improved. There was trash left on one of the barstools, including personal hygiene items, which was unpleasant to arrive to.Privacy was another concern. The living room doors had no blinds, and the shade on the bedroom door was see-through, making it possible for others to see inside.In terms of comfort, the seating was very limited. The couch was extremely uncomfortable, and the only other seating consisted of two backless barstools. The outdoor patio setup was also minimal, with a basic table and no cushions or additional seating, which made it difficult to enjoy the space.Overall, while I love the location, this property did not meet expectations in terms of comfort, cleanliness, and privacy. Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay at this house again.
this place was great. it's tucked away in a quiet neighborhood and pretty private. Great yard for our dog and nice shaded patio. close to everything making venturing out easy. We were even able to walk to alot of places.
It had a great enclosed small yard for your pets. It was centrally located to beach, piers and restaurants. The only thing that I wished it had was a washer and dryer. We spent a lot of time at the beach and it was too damp to air dry your beachwear.
We had a wonderful stay at Lorna Beach Cottage! The location is perfect—just a short walk to great restaurants, bars, shopping, and even a delicious ice cream spot. The private patio and backyard were such a nice touch, especially since the home is pet friendly and our dog loved having the space. It was the perfect spot to relax after spending time at the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at this cottage. Everything was clean when we arrived. It was perfect for the 2 of us. The location was wonderful. Everything we wanted to do was close by. The communication was spot on. The directions for arrival and check out were very easy. We will check this location first the next visit to Port Aransas.
Great rental house for the 4 of us! Location was perfect, not far from the beach & close to all the town shops/restaurants ect... At night we enjoyed the enclosed yard for the kids to play & we were able to hook up our projector to watch movies at night.
Location of the place was great! We’ve stayed in the Spanish village a few times and loved it. The place was perfect sized for our family, the backyard space was fantastic and exactly how the pictures portrayed! However it did seem like the cleaning was a little rushed as the floors and shower were dirty upon arriving. Loved the back porch area, and kitchen was nice. Fire ants all over the back porch so needed to watch that with our feet and the dog as we got a new bites over the weekend! Host was not that flexible on early check in but it was a busy weekend so totally understandable. The booking process was a bit excessive but overall was a great stay and we love Port A!
Really great location for being able to walk to a lot of great places and a short drive to the beach! Small and cozy place, perfect for a couple’s getaway. Host was super responsive and helpful! Quiet neighborhood.
I don’t often leave negative reviews, but this feels warranted. The place was very small, but that was semi expected. However, it’s listed as a one bed with a pull out couch, with no mention that if you use the pullout couch, you cannot walk through the place. It takes up the entire room. The main burner on the stove is tilted and the pan provided is very warped, so you have to manually hold the pan up flat to try and get your food cooked. The shower hose sprayed water straight out where the hose connects to the wall. And last but certainly not least, there are roaches. While I’ve lived in Texas for 20 years and am very familiar with the water roaches and that they’re just everywhere, never in my life have I been woken up by one crawling on my face, including my mouth. The scream I let out startled my children very badly. We found several more dead and alive throughout our stay. I’m honestly still in shock.

This little cottage was perfect for my husband and I. Extremely clean, our puppy loved the backyard, convient to all things. If it is just the two of us it worked perfect, would be a little tight if we had more than two.

We really enjoyed our stay! Very peaceful yet homey. The only minor complaints we had is the dishes didn’t feel completely clean, the grill was dirty and didn’t have grilling utensils, and the laundry facility was shut down. Everything else was perfect and we would absolutely stay here again!
Overall, the place was ok. It was small with no privacy, there was no door on the bedroom. The host gave us two towels for the stay and no beach towels so we had to buy additional towels. Also no dishwasher or washing machine so we had to use the laundry facilities in town. The fold out couch had food left in it and the host gave us one trash bag for the whole week. The pots and pans were dirty and not sufficient to cook with. Further, it rained and there is no protection from the pergola to the house so everything was soaked. Read the reviews before committing.

Sand Key Vacation Rental was a great host and the accommodation was perfect for our beach stay, walkable to the beach and many different restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay!

Overall we enjoyed our stay, loved the area. The Airbnb for my husband, and myself was a great size. We were surprised to see construction behind the building but not a big deal as they only worked during the week. I would warn when first getting familiar with the Airbnb make sure you know the code to the door because it locks automatically. When we first got there, we were moving our belongings to the inside, closed the door and it locked on its own and unfortunately, our phones with the code on the app and belongings were inside and we couldn’t remember the code. I called the number that was in the front of the house using my apple watch , left a voicemail to inform we were locked out, no one called back. ☹️ luckily a side window was open.
The location met expectations and the hosts made the stay enjoyable, easy, and convenient. The key pad check in made everything that more convenient as we came in late on our check in day. Our hosts were fast responders and put us at ease that our late arrival would not be a problem. The property matched the description exactly and we did not need much during our stay. Overall accurate and a perfect, quiet spot. Our only critique is an out of date info-guestbook, but other than that, we had no complaints.
We loved this Casita! It was the perfect getaway spot for the hubby and I. Quaint, clean and private. Host was exceptional and so timely with responses. Also, went above and beyond to help reunite me with an item I left behind. We will definitely be coming back❤️

This is the 3rd time to stay in Spanish Village and 2nd time at this house. we love it. Yard is perfect for our dog, and tall enough so she can't jump the fence. Bed is really comfy. My daughter doesn't mind the pullout couch after a long drive or very long day at the beach. It's the perfect size for 3 and a dog. Also right next door to Port A Creamery. Makes a great walk for an after dinner dessert. Will stay here again.
It was as described it’s a good place to stay. We had a problem with the shower head and it took them almost a day to repair it. They were very nice but we couldn’t shower that day. The kitchen utensils are a bit greasy, the should change them l. The rest it is a nice place with a great sitting space outside where you can grill.
There was sticky stuff everywhere. tv remotes ,utensils, floor, had to whipped down everything. the knifes were dull and can opener didn't work had to buy one. the couch is super uncomfortable had to add my own cushions.The water pressure in the bath sink is minamal as well as the kitchen sink. I am a landlord if this was my place I would be embarrassed.
ok for 2 people and pets overall a good stay, comfy bed, soft towels, well equipped kitchen, clean space, outdoor furniture could use an upgrade though, a bit rickety-pictures are from a while back I think. but a really great yard for our pets! Cottage is very small and compact but works well for 2 people and pets . Very small parking space but location is perfect!
After booking the property and paying all the Airbnb fees I was prompted to verify my identity which then took me to another link requiring me to pay yet another fee of $50. This made me angry because I had already paid and booked and yet another mandatory fee? aren't there enough fees already? Check in was a breeze however once I had left and returned I was unable to get into the home because the door was jammed so I was locked out. I reached out on the app who sent me instructions on how to re-enter which did not work so they informed me someone would contact me. I do want to note that I was able to access the property at check in so I knew it wasn't something I was doing wrong. so I waited for a phone call outside for about 30 minutes. no call, about an hour later still no call. on the second day all the tvs for some reason were disconnected from service so no tv the rest of my stat. so needless to say my stay here wasn't that great.
Took my son on his first road trip to PA. We felt right at home in this cozy little cottage, perfect for just the two of us. The area and the house is just so adorable, perfect area to sit outside and eat and just relax and for the deal! SAY LESS! I'm definitely keeping this gem in my back pocket!
Thanksgiving Initially we had trouble getting our entry code. Called three different numbers. We got it by the time we got there. The place was all we needed but a little overpriced. And it was clean and well supplied. The Fabuloso smell was too much. But that quiet neighbor hood and proximity to everything could bring us back!
Our little weekend at the Lorna Beach cottage was fantastic. It was clean, cozy, and a very quick walk to several restaurants, ice cream places, souvenir shops, and the beach. The fenced yard was perfect for our dogs, who loved playing while we sat and enjoyed the patio. As other reviews have noted - it is small and probably only comfortable for two people. The shower is very small as well, especially for larger people. We had no problem with this and enjoyed our stay very much. The hosts were communicative and very friendly. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
I loved this place! So cute, just the right size for me, and with a really nice backyard and sitting area out front. I'll definitely stay here again! It's so close to the beach and great restaurants, and you can rent a golf cart right next door! Super convenient and easy place to be.
Loved our stay Clean, cute, everything in order. Our dogs loved the space and we could not tell that there had been any pets before ours. Management got back to us within an hour of any question we had. We will be back
Great little place and super convenient location. Bathroom sink lacked any real pressure but wasn’t really an issue. The shower was small but had great pressure. Hosts weren’t able to accommodate a late checkout due to scheduled cleaning service but it’s understandable. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

The location of this charming casita was perfect. It is within walking distance to great local eateries and bars. It really is within 5 minutes from the beach. It was the right amount of space and even had a nice sized patio/lawn area. The house had a modern beach vibe to it, truly loved it!

Being pet friendly and having a fenced yard was a big bonus for us. House is as pictured and had everything we needed. I had to call the office for information about my door lock (how to work it) and they helped me very quickly.

Spanish Village This area is pet friendly which is the reason we stayed here again. However, that comes with some limitations as these need upgrades to ensure your stay is as advertised. Our floor had enough sand to fill the dustpan, lighting in the kitchen was not working so cooking in a cave, toaster not working. 2 calls to get assistance, no remedy for lighting. Instruction book does not apply to this location, information for tv, wifi was actually on the fridge. But it is pet friendly.
Nice It was nice but a little smaller than we expected
You’re only paying for the location Very disappointed with this property. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s a very busy season, but our unit was dirty. I understand everyone is human and things can’t be spotless, but my husband and I had to go out and get cleaning supplies to make it feel comfortable. Over the few days we decided to stay there (we left on our third day) we found dead roaches, old meat in the oven with maggots in it, cigarette butts by the back door, and bags of dog poop by the front door. When we decided to reach out to management the morning after we left, we were only scolded by not calling them and telling them as soon as we found things (which was not all at once, so we didn’t want to inconvenience our honeymoon by calling management each time). The yard was a major selling point for us and the location is prime. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops for the few days we stayed. We won’t be staying here again.
Tiny home This is a 1 room 30 x15 cinder block building originally built around 1948. The only interior door goes to the micro bathroom. It has been updated and is decorated nicely but does not function well for a vaca cabin. I give it 3 stars for the location, bed ,& yard ( our dog loved this place). I have a list of thing I didn't like but will only mention the most annoying. There is no usable flat surface to place anything what space there is is used up with extra cabin bedding or decorations. No place for your bags but on the floor & 1 small hallway shelf.The decorations are cute but frankly just in the way and nonfunctional in such a small place. Second there is no comfortable place to set or eat. The kitchen is poorly equipped you will need to pack like you are camping including usable sized pots, microwave safe bowels, salt & pepper,and towels(1 supplyed).Everything we used had to be washed before using, no dishwasher so you have to depend on previous renter to wash everything properly. The covered patio is a pergola you can't use it in the rain & the furniture & grill are in poor condition. Parking is only 15 ft long , you will need to park in the street unless you drive an extremely small car. We witnessed parked golf cart getting hit by someone trying to get through the narrow street. We had a rainy week and had to spend a lot more time here than originally planned. This property quickly became very confining and didn't work well for us on this trip.
Port Aransas We loved the cottage. The location is great. We walked to the beach in no time. Air conditioning worked great. We brought our dog and the fenced in property was perfect. The only negative was the faucet in the bathroom. There was no water pressure. We would stay again!

Great Stay This is our 4th cottage in the Spanish Village to rent and it did not disappoint. Unfortunately it rained quite a bit during our stay, but we enjoyed the covered patio area and the privacy of the fence. The yard was just big enough to give our small dogs some running room. The cottage is perfect for two. Decor was cute and the cabin had everything needed for a Port A getaway. My only critique would be the parking situation as you will have likely have to park on the street (we have a large truck) and so did the other renters. This can be tricky driving through vehicles. That will not keep us from visiting this location again! Enjoyed our stay!
