Stay in this beautiful property for a week. Very nice place for people who want to find a place to disconnect and embrace the nature. Wake up everyday with sounds of the brook and amazing view.

We absolutely loved this cabin! The beautiful stream (little river, really) is so close to the cabin. We loved keeping the windows open, to hear it in every room, so peaceful! Exactly like the pictures. Very clean, super comfortable beds and furniture, well appointed kitchen and simple, stylish decor. The area is very quiet, but near some good restaurants and a small supermarket. The hosts were super helpful and quick to respond. They squeezed us in a day early, when our travel plans had changed. We really appreciated that!

The Red Cottage was everything we hoped for and more: charming, cozy, and thoughtfully appointed. The space is beautifully maintained, with a blend of rustic charm and modern accoutrements that made for a relaxing stay. We especially loved the lovely furniture! But what really stood out was the incredible setting next to the babbling stream. There were two eagles nesting nearby and they made their presence known every time we walked out the door. The host was great. Very communicative and pro-active with information, but basically the place was just really easy to access and enjoy. We visited with friends in Callicoon and took a trip over the Narrowsberg, but honestly, I would have been happy to just curl up in the hammock with the eagles at Red Cottage. My only regret is that we only stayed for 2 nights.

This truly is a special property on so many levels! It is sited on a bend in the creek, which provides amazing, private views from wherever you are. The level of the furnishings is just ..... beyond! If you are a design buff, this is like walking into a showroom full of eye candy. And if you are not, you'll simply find a myriad of comfortable places to perch and enjoy the views and the sounds, both inside and out. We were visited by 2 deer one afternoon, and a bald eagle flew low over the creek one morning, then perched on a tree within sight of the cabin. I can't say enough about this beautiful place. I never wanted to leave but if you do.... there are peaceful, isolated places to hike nearby, as well as a decent grocery and liquor store. Do not hesitate to book it!

I had an incredible weekend at this cabin! The location is breathtaking, with peaceful woods and the soothing sound of the nearby river creating the perfect atmosphere to relax. The cabin itself is beautifully maintained and provides all the comforts you need for a cozy stay. Being surrounded by nature was exactly what we needed, and waking up to such amazing views was a highlight. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors!

If you want style. comfort, and beautiful natural surroundings, this place is for you. I feel lucky to have found this cabin, which is beside a babbling brook with all the amenities I was looking for in a weekend getaway. The owners were so responsive and caring. There were great farmer's markets, restaurants, and hiking in the area. I will try to return again!

Absolutely loved our stay. The house and property was beautiful, would recommend this cabin any time! Definitely would come back. The perks is waking up to the sound of the stream, listening to the nature, seeing an eagle soaring over, having a fire and relaxing.

We had a fantastic time staying that the cottage in Eldred, NY. Everything was professionally executed and as advertised. Beautiful A-frame cabin with indoor and outdoor fireplaces and a nice sauna. We were a party of 2 couples and were very comfortable during our stay. The property has a cool stream and nice backyard with tons of nature (saw a lot of deer and rabbits). Overall I would recommend. However, it is on the expensive side for a 1 bathroom, right under $1,800 for a Friday and Saturday in October. It is also by a fairly busy road so there’s a little road noise during the middle of the day. Thanks again for the hosts for being so responsive and clear with their instructions.

We had the best weekend at the red cottage house. The house is designed and decorated so thoughtfully. For our anniversary we wanted to hang out in a beautiful, quiet place and sauna in the woods all weekend, and that’s exactly what we got. We can’t wait to return!

Most peaceful place on earth. We spent new years here to recharge and saw a few bald eagles in the backyard!

Most beautiful location and stylish digs with great restaurants and markets not far from the front steps -- all keep me coming back to this gem. Hosts are super friendly and communicate about everything you need to know about your stay too.

We had a wonderful stay. The house, location, stream and sauna were amazing!! Even caught trout fly fishing right outside the front door. Couldn’t ask for a better weekend.

The weekend that we were supposed to go to the cabin, there was a snowstorm and the location lost power. The Airbnb team was extremely communicative with us and allowed us to stay at a property that had power and switched to our original reservation after their power came back on. We could not be more grateful to them for being so accommodating. This Airbnb was gorgeous, romantic, and a unique getaway. They had more amenities than even listed. We will definitely be returning!

The little river cottage is perfect for a weekend getaway at the base of the Catskills. It’s situated within easy driving distance of a several towns, but remote enough to be able to disconnect. The cottage also matches up perfectly to its description and photos, with a modern interior and amazing tranquility with the outdoor amenities. Looking forward the next stay!

I had such a great stay at Red Cottage! From the moment we arrived, the home felt incredibly warm and inviting, and the peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to relax. Everything was exactly as described. The hosts were communicative and responsive throughout our stay and the check-in/check-out process was seamless. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’m already looking forward to planning another visit in the summer - thank you Lauren for such a memorable stay!

It’s a beautiful place and location. I’m sure when everything functions properly it’s 10/10; but most amenities did not function and the hosts were not very kind or helpful in fixing them or correcting them. I communicated with them about the stay prior to booking and they did not tell me about the fireplace being inoperable so that was very inconsiderate. Overall was not satisfied with the experience but that was situational to their prep this time around.

The cabin was very cute, with a stream in the backyard, a good sauna, and only about 2 hours from NYC.

Everything was just as expected. The host got back to us immediately and even sent over things to the house that we needed. Super professional and the home was beautiful. Right down the road from essentials, but secluded enough for a nice little getaway!

The cabin is very comfortable and served all the needs we wanted for the weekend. The outdoor is beautiful, the ceiling views are stunning and the outdoor sauna is an added bonus. The cabin was clean & the beds were very comfortable. All of slept really well. We would definitely stay again & recommend to others.

Second time staying in this airbnb. It’s the perfect peaceful escape! The sauna hadn’t yet been installed the first time I stayed here, so that was such a treat this time around. The place is super clean. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. The beds are comfortable! No doubt you will love your stay!

This cabin is about as picturesque as it gets…if you are looking for the perfect place to get away from it all for a weekend, this is it. Stocked with all the items you need and then some. Great management group…easy to deal with and quick to respond.

Beautiful home on beautiful land. I didn’t realize how close the brook was on the property and it was very relaxing and scenic. The sauna with the view of the woods and water was great. Highly recommend this place!

We loved our stay, it was exactly what we needed. Sauna was a much needed activity. Everything was easy and with clear instructions. Town near is very small, recommend coming with your own groceries/food. Would def return and recommend.

Just as described. We arrived at night so the drive was a bit hard to see but its right where google maps shows it. Bad cell reception but fast wifi. The design of the space has all of the cabin charm without feeling old or musty. Great fireplace with lots of wood. The host got back to me quickly when i had questions prior to check in. There were great instructions at the house so i didnt have any questions throughout the stay. The kitchen is simply but sufficiently appointed so if you need something specific, bring it. Great bathroom with good products. The sauna puts this place over the top. Beautiful weekend get away only wish we could have stayed longer.

We loved this cabin so, so much. Our stay was beyond relaxing. Like other reviews say, the house is off of a country highway but it was still so quiet and felt very private. The house was gorgeous and you can tell that the owners really care about this place, and the land it’s located on felt like being at summer camp in the best way. We made good use of the sauna and the fire pit on the chilly nights we spent there. The beds and linens were very comfy, the amenities were all there, and we were just generally pleasantly surprised with the quality of everything. The town it’s in is teeny tiny, but had all of the essentials even though it was definitely quieter and with semi limited options due to November being an off season-ish time to be in the Catskills. There are other small towns to drive to within 20 min to explore, eat, grab coffee, etc. All in all, one of the better airbnbs we’ve ever rented.

Absolutely phenomenal home! It was truly such a peaceful, magical, and cozy fall foliage weekend. The cabin and grounds had such thoughtful design and attention to detail, while still being very homey and comfortable. Can’t wait to stay again!

The place is beautifully styled and lived-in, in a good way. Love the layout. Love the sauna and creek. Comfy bed, not too soft. FYI there’s hardly anything open in nearby towns during the week.

Super calm location. The sound of the river is so refreshing. The house is great. Perfect if you like to grill some food and cook. Overall 5 stars. They were missing the Bocce tho, but have been pretty reactive to get us another one. We may come back!! ✨✨✨

Great stay! Well managed. Had a great time!!! The only downside was that after checkout they wanted to Charge us $500 for a smoke oder which was not from us. We do not smoke and did not use the indoor fireplace. I do wonder if we would have had to pay that extra fee for lighting the fireplace inside the house, unknowingly.

Sweet house. Stream side, need I say more? Only downside is that It’s by a road-but mainly morning and evening noise, plus the sound of the stream muffles it somewhat. It’s a very nice place. Owner and management company very responsive and helpful.

This is a wonderful home and we really enjoyed our stay. Very clean and neat, great decor and selection of art books, private and peaceful surroundings, and a lovely sauna and outside shower. I plan on returning again and again :)
