Leeds Longhouse - Scenic Views near Hudson & Hunter — Guest Reviews

We (2 families) stayed at the Red Cottage with a 4 month old and a 3 year old. I can't recommend it enough. My 3 year old (who is a bit Disney obsessed) had so many toys to play with, she didn't ask to watch movies once. Also, my friends stayed in the side room with their 4 month old, so it provided a communal space but also privacy. The kitchen was SO well stocked (way more than a typical AirBNB) and all of the items were high quality---the glasses and pottery were gorgeous, even down to the soap was downright luxurious. My young parent friends and I will definitely be back. The views are impossible to top, and it was SO close to Hudson and Kingston, where we went out to dinner. Love the Red Cottage!!!

We stayed here with our family, including our 1-year-old, and absolutely loved it. The house is incredibly well-equipped, and the view is just stunning - even more beautiful in person than in the photos. It felt like a real home rather than a rental - warm, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together. We had planned to spend most of our time exploring with visiting family, but we ended up staying in more because we didn’t want to miss out on the peaceful setting. We’ll definitely be back!

Leeds Longhouse is a stunning modern retreat just 2.5 hours from NYC—an ideal escape that feels both stylish and serene. The interior is like new: spotless, thoughtfully designed, and filled with natural light. Wooden accents and an open layout create a warm, inviting atmosphere with a clean, contemporary feel. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking, making it easy to settle in and enjoy meals at home. Each room offers beautiful views, and there are several laptop-friendly workspaces perfect for remote work. Outside, the firepit and grill area add to the charm. A perfect spot to relax, recharge, and feel right at home. Highly recommended.

We had an extremely relaxing stay here. The place was not just very clean and comfortable but also gorgeous! All the appliances were very new and easy to use. It was so quiet, I could sleep in and get some serious rest! The bed is also super super comfortable. Thank you!

A beautiful home with wonderful views!

Leeds Longhouse is so very beautiful and the perfect place to unplug. The house is sleekly modern and rustic as well - it reminded me of Scandinavian style homes in my native Seattle. We appreciated the overall design and the care taken in selecting high quality materials with beautiful details. The artwork was a surprise bonus. The house is very private - just us, fresh brewed coffee and a stunning mountain view by day, and stars by night. We enjoyed the recommended restaurants, Julia's in particular.
