We really enjoyed this place, the kids had a blast. There was so much for them to do at the cabin that we rarely left!

House is in a great location with proximity to nearby attractions, decorated thoughtfully & overall a cute place for a weekend getaway. As others have noted, the trail down to the lake is very steep. It is an older home with charm & peaceful views of the water. Something to note, we were barely provided a “starter kit” of supplies. Wish I would’ve known to bring toilet paper, paper towels, dish sponge & trash bags. House could also use a deep clean. Overall a good place to stay for our party, but at the price point I would have expected a few more supplies so that we didn’t have to run to the store after driving all day. House is managed by a third party and did quickly respond to a request to clean up the tipped trash can.

For this stay we gave our boys the budget and let them find the vacation rental,and it did not disappoint.This property had everything we could want or need for our family vacation,and was very well stocked.The kids took over the bottom floor with the bunk beds and game room, where we played pingpong,Galaga,GoldenTee,PAC man and they even had a chess tournament. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals at home,and the projector and comfy couch upstairs made for a perfect movie night with the popcorn machine. We had smores and enjoyed some time in the hot tub.The lake was great to have so close where the boys really enjoyed the kayak and paddleboard.We even saw an otter swimming around.The very short walk down to the lake is steep but we didn’t mind it at all.We often saw deer around the property early mornings and at dusk. The property itself is easy to get to and very centrally located for what activities we had planned. We would definitely book this property again.

The hosts, house , location and experience was just what we needed. Would highly recommend staying! Positive: The location was fantastic. Really close to shops and dining! The house was so cozy, comfortable, and had everything needed and more. Negative: Only small issue was the incline down to the water, but it did not slow us down!

This property was perfect for our groups trip! The fishing on the lake was a blast and the game room was a hit for the kids. Also possibly the most comfortable bedding I’ve ever stayed in. We will absolutely be coming back!

There was a lot of maintenance issues and even some dangerous conditions! There’s a large and very active yellow-jacket nest in the door! The 2nd story deck railings were loose with several about to fall off. Not safe for our kids. There were small nails coming up through the carpet, acupuncture? The dock had lots of huge nails sticking up out of it. Broken and missing deck boards. About to fall apart. Also, we didn’t realize it was so far down a very steep trail to the pond. Plus, the hot tub wasn’t working and it took a couple days for them to fix it. The host was hard to reach and we mostly communicated with a robot. They did offer us a small refund, which was disappointing given all of the large issues. We would not have booked if we knew about these issues.

We loved staying here! It was beautiful inside and outside. The game room was amazing, there was so much for everyone to do. My kids are already asking when we can come back. It was a great experience!

Came here with my friends and family for my 30th birthday and had a great experience! The cabin was colorful and homey and had plenty of space for everyone! Loved all the amenities and the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. We ended up bringing my niece and there was baby furniture and baby gates which was a plus. We planned on going out and going tubing and exploring but we ended up staying in just because we didn’t feel the need to leave with everything to do there. We used the boats and paddle board and fished on the lake and even caught a couple of bass! The walk up and down to the dock is a bit treacherous but we all fared well and only fell once or twice 😂 Overall we had a wonderful time and look forward to visiting again!

House was perfect for our two large families. All the kids had their own space to sleep and play. The adults loved the sauna! The house was well stocked with everything we needed.

My family truly enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of things for the kids to do and we took advantage of the close proximity to Blue Ridge and Blue Ridge Lake.

Such a great place that accommodates large groups well. 15 mins from anything you may need or want to do! Great location.

I would have given a 5 star but the rails on the deck were loss which was very dangerous with small children and the the walk down to the lake isn't well kept or children and disabled people friendly. The house was well stocked with everything you would need and several things for children to do at the house.

First, The host was amazing! Great communication, fast response and pleasant to deal with. The house itself was exactly as described and shown in the pictures and very comfortable and clean. And had everything we needed for the week! We had a great time with the hottub, sauna, firepit and playground. However, the backyard path going down to the lake onto the dock was less than desirable and did not look like the pictures. Not ideal if you have issues walking steep areas. Not ideal to bring kayaks and paddleboards up and down either. And the dock itself is coming apart. However, we made the best of it and had a great week there and the surrounding area checking out new stuff.

We had a great time enjoying all the cabin had to offer! Everything was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Kelly was very responsive as well.

This was the perfect home for our family’s Blue Ridge vacation. We traveled with our kids, ages 12-22, and EVERYONE had an incredible stay. The decor is fun & modern with very comfortable furnishing while maintaining a cabin vibe. The amenities gave everyone a chance to relax in their own way. I enjoyed reading while sitting on the deck. My adult kids relaxed in the hot tub & competed in the game room. My husband fished from a kayak in the pond. My youngest son explored the back yard for wildlife; we observed a family of deer, a beaver playfully splashing, bunnies, a salamander hiding under a rock, bass, turtles, countless birds. We gathered around the fire pit a few nights for s’mores, and we enjoyed a family movie with popcorn in the theater room. We were very close to the fun in BR—shopping, tubing, hiking, the train, and restaurants. Our host was very responsive and helpful. FYI: The trail to the pond is walkable but moderately challenging, and wear shoes on the dock for safety.

Amazing stay! This was the most kid friendly place we have ever stayed at and that’s a huge thing for us. Also the kitchen alone we were impressed with how stocked it was - most other places there’s only a few utensils, etc.

Place was the perfect getaway for the weekend! The house was very charming and huge! The host really put effort into making sure you had everything u need to have fun (endless games, kayaking supplies). The hot tub was also the perfect way to end the night 😊 The place is only 20 minutes away from blue ridge, a cute little town that has lots of activities and restaurants. The host was super responsive and gave us lots of recommendations and help throughout the whole booking process.

We brought our teens here for our son’s birthday, I chose it hoping all the amenities would keep my family busy, off screens and making memories together…it worked! We had so much to do at all times and enjoyed all our time together! We never even left the house like we had planned. This house is so unique, as my daughter put it, “no more boring beige”, it is bright with thoughtful touches and quirky, but fun, decor. We enjoyed it all throughly! Oh, and the beds were the most comfy any of us had slept on at an Airbnb before! (I actually want to find out where you get everything) 😊

This was a nice place for our family Christmas. The house was tidy and convenient to downtown Blue Ridge. Would love to stay again!

Our stay was exactly what was needed. We wanted to just stay in and reconnect with each other. We played games, laughed & thoroughly enjoyed each other. The sleeping arrangements were perfect. The older girls loved the loft. It was a peaceful Thanksgiving.

We had a great time at Kelly’s place! We had three families all with small kids and everyone had a wonderful time. Our kids loved the games and especially the popcorn machine and the upstairs projector. Adults enjoyed the hot tub and the sauna. Everything was super clean and the house was very wall stocked. We were all in love with the decor which made it extra fun. Despite it being November we even enjoyed the kayaks a bit! Overall it was just the relaxing weekend getaway we all desperately needed. Would definitely recommend or stay again!

Kelly was immediately responsive. The house is lovely, clean, well appointed and in a great location. Loved exploring the area, but equally enjoyed the pool table, ping pong, hot tub and sauna! Thanks for making our getaway so special and memorable!

Our family gathered for a weekend with my elderly mother. The place was wonderful and will sleep a large group. Everything we needed was there and more. The house was clean and most things in the cabin looked new and was decorated beautifully. Would love to go back in the summer also to enjoy the water activities. The kids enjoyed the fire pit making s’mores and the playground as well as games on the deck. We didn’t have time to enjoy the sauna and hot tub but looked like fun. You will not be disappointed if you stay here!
