Beautiful cottage, very clean and nice rooms with breathtaking views of the woods. In autumn it was peaceful and serene. The trees were orange and red and yellow. Host was very communicative and we didnt see them, or hardly anyone, during our stay. It’s a good 15 minutes from the town so definitely prepare to be isolated and self contained for your stay, perfect if thats what you are looking for. Plenty of places for nice peaceful walks with my dog off leash, no worries.

The house was perfect, great location, secluded but close to town and the hot tub sealed the deal. It was an ideal refresh and reset spot away from the city for a few days and the dog was a fan too.

We had a great stay with friends at the Red Cottage. The house was very clean and well furnished, and the proximity to Livingston Manor was very convenient.

We really loved the house, it is very well appointed / presented. It is located in a wooded area 5-7 miles from downtown Livingston Manor so it’s great for quiet, peaceful time in nature with a great little town nearby with nice restaurants / shops. Special shoutout to Steve, the neighbor across the street who was super helpful to us (gave us a ride into and back from town) and was very friendly and great to talk to.

We had a great weekend stay at the cabin in Livingston Manor! The house is very clean and well kept with all needed amenities. We enjoyed the hot tub and wood stove at the house! It is about 15 minutes from downtown Livingston Manor, 20 minutes to Roscoe, and about 15 minutes from the closest hiking trail. One thing to note is the house is on a quiet road but there are no blinds or curtains on the windows and can be seen from the road. Other than that, no complaints!

Great little getaway house in the Sullivan Catskills! Totally remodeled home that is bright and airy. 3 bedrooms enough to sleep 6 adults, amazing open kitchen, and of course a hot tub on the terrace. Fairly clean and thoughtfully decorated (not cheap decor like most Airbnbs)! It’s a bit of a drive to the 3 main Catskill mountains for skiing but if you’re into a quiet getaway or hiking, this is a great spot/find. Local road was plowed immediately after a snowstorm which was surprising and a relief!

We had a great time at the home. It was beautifully designed, the space was clean and minimal, and we had everything we needed. It was the perfect size for our family, private yet close enough to town, restaurants, and activities.

We had a nice stay overall. The cabin was clean, peaceful, and in a great location. The main downside was the beds, which were extremely firm and uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep. We ended up using extra comforters from other rooms to add some cushioning, but it didn’t help much. There are also no window treatments in the primary bedroom, so light sleepers may want to bring an eye mask. The kitchen setup is fairly bare bones, with no basic essentials like salt, pepper, or olive oil, so plan ahead if you’re cooking. Additionally, there was only a partial roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and no extras provided. With a few small upgrades, this place could be great.

We had such a relaxing stay here! The home is beautiful and bright (note no window treatments), the deck gets great sun on a sunny day, the grill was so easy to use, the hot tub was clean and its a reasonable proximity to Main Street of Livingston Manor! We really had a great time here and would definitely recommend it. The owners/management company were very responsive when we had questions or comments and helpful when we had some trouble with the hot tub (just a tripped fuse!). Livingston Manor doesn't have much to do in my opinion, so we spent much of our time at the home - which we wanted to do! It would be so helpful if there were a few more kitchen amenities to make cooking there easier - baking pans, basic spices, olive oil and coffee for the coffee maker would be appreciated! The one thing I'd say could use some improvement were the beds - I love a firm bed, but these beds were a bit hard and could use a mattress topper. :) All in all - great time though - thank you!

The cabin is not as big as it looks from the photos. The rooms all had windows with No blinds as well as the bathrooms and living spaces. You don’t feel very comfortable or safe with no privacy

Great place! We didn't want to leave. It was a great retreat from the hustle and bustle of New York City. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay here and ate already planning a trip back. It was a beautiful little winter hideaway and was exactly what we were looking for.

This space was really lovely and welcoming. We enjoyed the hot tub and the local town of Livingston Manor.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully designed apartment! The attention to detail was incredible, from the stylish decor to the record player, which added so much charm to our evenings. The kitchen was well-stocked, making it easy to prepare meals, and the fireplace created a warm and cozy atmosphere that made our stay extra special. Guest services were responsive and helpful, especially when we found ourselves accidentally locked out. It wasn’t clear to us that we shouldn’t use the door handle lock, and unfortunately, this led to some confusion. Thankfully, we were able to wait in the car and escape the cold while the locksmith arrived, but clearer instructions on this would have made the experience smoother. Despite this hiccup, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the prompt assistance from the host. This is a fantastic place, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again with that one improvement addressed. Highly recommend!

This cabin was all we ever wanted! Beautiful inside and out - was great for the four of us. Lovely woods, hot tub was a treat, indoor fire place provided a very cozy feel (and great heat!). Very clean and nice decoration, we used the turn table much more than we expected! Would love to visit again.

Such a relaxing weekend trip! The house was adorable and clean. The host was super responsive to any questions we had and super friendly! The even gave us early check-in :). The only flaw we had were the beds, they weren’t the most comfortable but definitely didn’t ruin the trip. Loved staying here!

Cozy place to get away for a few nights. About a 15 minute drive into Livingston Manor.

This house is amazing!. It had everything we needed and it’s surrounded but a very cute forest with a nice hot tub in the terrace. It feels secluded but still around 15’ to town. They also have a very cool vinyl collection and player that truly made a difference to stay in. The views from the windows are gorgeous and the pics don’t really make it justice. The place was spotless and the owners were always in touch and available for any questions. We had an amazing stay, highly recommended!

This had everything we needed, beautiful trees everywhere, the hot tub was a huge hit. The town is close, charming with lots of vegan options. The house is modern, comfortable and lovely.

We loved staying here! The cabin was very cute, cozy, and had fun character. Would definitely come back.

All the Beds were very hard and not at all comfortable The en suite bedroom bottom sheet was stained and there was no top sheet. Kitchen didn’t have hot pads and only had one dish towel. Water heater only heated enough hot water for one shower at a time (need bigger water heater for amount of people who could stay there). Toilet in en suite bathroom was plugged and had to use plunger to unplug. Cleaner should have taken care of that before we arrived.
