Condo was Perfect! Condo was Perfect for our family.

Best family vacation My family and I enjoyed our stay here! It’s a beautiful home inside and out. The view.. AMAZING!!! Thank you for letting us stay. We would love to come back next year!!

Beautiful View The only negative thing I have to say about our stay is the dirty sheets. There was sand in my daughters’ bed and hair that definitely was not ours in the master bed. This space had plenty of room for our whole family. The kitchen was big enough for a few people to cook at the same time. The view was amazing.

6 Adults 1 teenager and 4 toddlers The property is a great value. Right on the beach OUTSTANDING VIEW! Minor criticism the property is slightly dated, and it showed most in the bathroom. This is me being picky. Also, the property is on the 18th for so if you're afraid of heights...or if small children make you nervous on the balcony be warned.

Nice family vacation spot in an ideal location The Jade East has a nice heated pool and hot tub which were perfect for the unseasonably cold weather we experienced. The view from the condo was breathtaking. We appreciated the location of the condo in the heart of Destin. We were close to all kinds of restaurants and shops. And the beach was perfect. The condo would benefit from a good deep clean. The master shower had a decent amount of mold in it and there was some popcorn on the carpet in the master closet. While the pictures on the website were accurate and we knew exactly what we were getting aesthetically, the condo could grow from a 7 to a 10 with some minor updates in paint color and decor/furnishings.

Beautiful Stayed here with my daughters and we absolutely loved it! The view is amazing! I loved how there were 3 full bathrooms and they even left travel size boxes of hygiene and cleaning products. The condo was very clean, well organized, and the property is conveniently located. If we decide to come back, we will definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful view outside but inside not so much. This property is definitely intended to make money. Property was not cleaned well, food spills left in fridge, trash cans and cabinets. Per maintenance, dryer can only dry 4 towels at a time. 9 people in our party meant lots of time trying to keep up with wet towels. Only 1 dish clothe and dish towel provided for the week and no hot pads. The view is spectacular.

The location was convenient, and communication with the host was clear and prompt. Unfortunately, the property itself was much more outdated and dingy than the pictures made it appear. We had several concerns during our stay, particularly with the safety of the doors. The front door latch was broken, which posed a serious concern with our 2 year old being able to potentially get outside, and the back door lock was also not functioning properly. The walls, floors, and bathroom could also use a thorough deep cleaning. Overall, the property felt like it needed some updating and more attention to cleanliness. The pictures definitely made the place appear nicer than it was in person. The location and communication were positives, but the condition of the property and the door safety issues significantly impacted our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was beautiful, the views were gorgeous, and the location so close to the beach was perfect. The pool was an added bonus, too. We did experience a few issues with check-in, staff entering the condo without knocking, and the lack of an interior lock. We shared our concerns with the host, who was incredibly responsive, and genuinely cared about making things right. We appreciate that and hope our feedback helps improve the experience for future guests!

Overall good experience. To start off, they were able get us checked in early which was very nice. Beds were comfortable. Had plenty of space. The furniture is pretty worn down. We did not like the picnic on the balcony just because it took up so much space and was not able to move around freely. The kitchen is pretty bare with utensils and cooking supplies, it is not very equipped for those cooking in for the week. The main thing that was very frustrating… we get there with the ice maker full of ice. Once that tray of ice was gone… it did not make anymore ice. I reached out to the host immediately letting them know the issue. We never had someone check on it or get it fixed. On the last day I messaged the host to let them know it needed to get fixed so the next guest would not have the problems we did. I looked back in reviews and the fridge/icemaker situation has been reported to them since April and it is doing the same thing.

Great condo with great view, easy private beach access. Really enjoyed being able to walk to shops and eateries. Kids loved that Big Kahuna was right across the street. Very pleased with the condo.

Beautiful views, enjoyed going down to the beach and the pool was refreshing. Close to many good restaurants to eat at. I wasn’t made aware of having to rent chairs and an umbrella from the complex. This is a private beach so if you rent beach chairs or umbrellas from another source you have to set up your stuff behind the rows that are set up for other people. Upon asking it’s not first come first serve. So be prepared to not have a clear ocean view at the beach.

We had two small kids and four adults. Plenty of space for everyone. Decor was fabulous, just enough to make it feel beachy, minimal enough for two small children. Definitely recommend bringing extra toilet paper and trash bags. The view was spectacular! Beds and pillows very comfortable.

A couple of things. The icemaker did not produce any ice until the day before we left. Also the floor in the king bathroom was extremely slick. I was afraid of falling

We had a great overall stay! The beach was beautiful and easy to access, and the pool was a huge bonus—nice and warm, perfect for relaxing. The beds were also very comfortable, which we really appreciated after long beach days. There are a few areas that could use some attention. The kitchen was lacking some basic supplies, and some of the furniture felt a bit worn. The unit could also benefit from a deeper clean. We also noticed the bathroom fans and the ice maker on the fridge were not working. One small thing—there are DVD players provided but no DVDs, which felt a bit outdated. A smart TV or streaming option would be a great upgrade. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the location is hard to beat. With a few updates and better upkeep, this place could be even better!

Great views and locations. Relax listening to the Gulf shores and watching the Dolphins! Positive: Views, spacious rooms, location great! Negative: Hard to figure out check-in. There’s no 24/7 front desk or communication. We finally got the App to work and another tenant helped us. Floors seem gritty from the beginning and fan in bathroom in laundry area making a loud noise. Not all Beds were comfortable.

This place was PERFECT! The view was immaculate, the rooms were plenty big and the beds were also plenty big! The entire condo was spacious and honestly better than the pictures give it justice. The condo felt safe as you always had to have bracelets on to be there and to access their beach/pools. You also have to always have your parking pass and there is a code for accessing the beach, ground elevator, and parking lot that also adds to the safety of the condo. Overall perfect!

1840 Customer service was great. Layout of the condo was very nice! The room was not stocked very well. Hardly any cooking pans or useful kitchen utensils. Was missing a few comforters for beds. Did not like how you had to be third row on the beach if you didn’t want to pay extra for chairs and umbrellas. And also they didn’t allow certain tents/canopies.

Disappointed Arrived Saturday, 1 bed linen had boogers on sheets!!!! 1 bed had broken box springs, a bed room had flickering lights, while off! Wasn’t till Monday the issues were resolved! Electrical was explained to satisfaction! Broken box springs were replaced, finally house keeping replaced bed sheets, but Saturday night, Sunday night we had to make arrangements that we should not have had to make for the price paid? Very disappointed in response time to correct issues! I can’t recommend this for a booking agent!

Amazing views Everything was great, one thing we had issues with is a parking, by the time we unloaded and had a chance to come downstairs to put a tag on a car we already got ticketed, talker to security and he told us that it’s fine since we have parking tags but we had my in-laws staying in the hotel near by and there is no option for visitors to park, they never came over for more than 2 hours during a day so it was really inconvenient. Also elevators have been on and off the whole 5 day of our stay. Apartment itself is very spacious and nice, close to everything

Vacation Very clean no holes or broken funiture was very nice place to stay

Unacceptable If I were the owner of this property I would be ashamed to list this the way it looks. The view is amazing, but cleanliness and over all apperance of the inside was ridiculous. Seems to me the money being made weekly on this unit, you all could afford to make updates and clean alot better than it was left. The base bords covered in dust, stains all over the couches and pillows, we covered the couch with a sheet just so we could set on it. The amount of sand found in the recliner leg extender was just nasty, the broken cabinet doors in the bathroom., the dirty mattress covers with foot prints and stains. A If I were the hosting company renting this unit I too would be ashamed of how it's being cleaned and kept for guest. I have pics to back this review and will find a way to get them onto the web. Very disappointed with the way the place looked for the amount of money being charged to rent this unit. Suggestion: update this unit with furniture and find a better cleaning crew.

Chairs were set up close

Not the best option….. We stayed for 5 days…..our refrigerator wasn’t cooling we lost most of our food. Maintenance never came. Rooms were not that clean, very poorly service around the apt. Not recommending it.

Week long may trip The location. Was pretty good for what all we wanted to do. The room was clean but the boxeprings were stained badly and the couch was stained very badly but the sheets and beds were all clean and good. Kitchen had lots of plates and utensils and a nice cooking set up. Overall was a good place to stay with lots of room.

My stay The condo was nice but in need of a good cleaning. Specifically the floors and fans. Had to wear shoes in the condo the entire time or your feet were filthy. Not suitable for children that are at the crawling stage. I found trash of liquor bottles in the cabinet above the refrigerator which I disposed of. Someone came in our condo and put different color wrist bands in the container with out notifying me of entry. Lack of security. Good location and easy access to the beach. You do have to deal with the beach vendors that monopolize the beach front. There wasn’t a path to walk to the water so you have to walk right between the umbrellas. It’s a shame we all can’t enjoy the beach and shore without having to deal with the vendors. Not everyone wants to rent chairs and umbrellas.

Beach vacation Property was great. Our only complaint was that the master bed had a large wet spot near the head that smelled to be fabuloso that was spilled during the cleaning prior to our check in.
