Incredible Ocean Views, Direct Beach Access, Pool — Guest Reviews

I have rented many of the units in the Grand Caribbean building and this unit is absolutely the nicest! Beautifully decorated with very comfortable furniture. Quality bed linens and perfect mattress. Everything worked in the unit - not a given in some others. But the real reason we rent there is the wonderful view from the large balcony. In addition, the very short walk to a beach that is more laid back than in town. I would suggest adding more glassware and upgrading the towels - they just don't compare to the rest of the furnishings. We will be back in this unit!

I’ve stayed in at least 5 different units in Grand Caribbean and this was the most beautifully decorated. Elegant, efficient, good planning, great amenities!! The only thing missing was an air fryer which is almost the only appliance I use.

We had a wonderful time at this high-end condo rental. Fabulous furnishings, view, amenities, and peace and quiet. I definitely will be back.

It was exactly what we were looking for. Clean, well-maintained, quiet and close to the beach. I've never been to a condo where the pool area was so meticulously clean. The condo was well stocked with the amenities needed during our stay. The coffee pods to start us off were very appreciated. The communication was excellent. We are already looking to book our next stay at this same spot.

My family enjoyed our time for this short get away. The rooms and beds were very comfortable. The board games left were a hit and truly allowed quality time. Views were great and we even saw LED kites at night on the beach! Lots of beach toys and volley ball. Thank you for being so responsive and helpful throughout.

We had a great few days in Port A! The condo was clean, cute and had everything we needed!

Very nicely furnished and comfortable beds! Just disappointed about about the towels Positive: Love the closeness to the beach! I use to own a condo for 13 years. The grounds are well kept. Only real issue was we were four ladies in our 70’s! Only one bath towel and wash cloth were person! That was disappointing. I let them know but in three nights never received more! Was expensive for it! Negative: Needed more bath towels

My family and I had a great stay here. 100% recommend! The condo was clean, beautiful and perfect for a family get away. The hosts are very proactive and even notified us of an issue on the road coming back from Corpus. Thank you!

Amazing condo, clean and a great view!!

Spent a few days w/ the family at this conveniently located, clean, beautiful condo. Balcony overlooks the ocean and is so serene. Easy walk to the beach, short drive to town. Enjoyed Monopoly night while we watched the Spurs game on the big screen!Very secure area and plenty of parking. Surprised at all the beach equipment available (big wagon, tent/cover/umbrellas, sand toys, rake for removing seaweed). Bring your own beach towels. Kitchen has it all for making pretty much any meal. We will definitely comeback for a longer visit soon!

The place itself was clean, nicely decorated, layout was wonderful, kitchen had generally what was needed and the balcany though is worth being there. We had very cloudy, unpredictable weather with rainy times but being able to utilize the balcany made it very relaxing. The beach itself wasnt the greatest as there was a lot of washed up seaweed and quite a few jellyfish with very little shells (nothing against the place itself though). There isnt much to do without driving a while (except souvenirs and some restaurants). The pool was great. Overall, the place itself was wonderful.

We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious and clean the condo was. As a Type A person, I immediately felt at ease walking in. The view was fantastic, and the oversized balcony was one of our favorite features. The beach chairs and wagon were also appreciated! The biggest downside was the mosquitoes. We were greeted by an absolute swarm outside. If you're visiting during mosquito season, definitely bring plenty of bug spray, if it even works. Those mosquitoes literally attacked every time we left. The elevators stopped working on our second day, resulting in several trips up eight flights of stairs. Thankfully, they were repaired by the following morning. A couple of maintenance notes: the beach wagon has seen better days, two wheels fell off while loading it into our car. The mattresses were also very soft and felt quite broken down, making sleep less comfortable than expected. Overall, the cleanliness, spacious layout, beautiful views, and large balcony made for an enjoyable stay

Pros:Property was better than expected, PIctures don't do it justice.Incredible views of the beach & gulf from the balcony.Condo was clean and well appointed. Bed was very comfortable.Came with a wagon, beach toys, umbrellas and beach chairs.Easy walk to the beach via the boardwalk. Cons (these are minor):A lot of rules to follow but nothing unreasonable.A 60 non refundable damage deposit. We were notified of this after booking. We've stayed in vacation rentals all over the U.S. and this was a first for us. Overall a great property & can't wait to return!

Fun and quiet spot! Extremely peaceful and a fantastic view of the ocean. Easy check in and the boardwalk to the beach was a MASSIVE bonus

The condo is very clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable beach getaway. We loved being able to sit on the porch and watch the ocean. The condo also has a nice pool and a private boardwalk to the beach. We very much enjoyed our stay here!

Everything was good, nice condo. Unfortunately, there was construction going on around the condo and pool area at the time of our visit. I would recommend bringing your own beach towels, the place did not have any. However, they had sand toys and a wagon which was nice. Overall, a good stay.

This is our 2nd time staying here and find it comfortable, cozy, clean, peaceful and quiet. There is a beautiful view of the beach with a balcony. Beach and pool are a few minutes walk. Bring your own beach towels. The town is a few miles away offering shopping, entertainment, restaurants, grocer, fishing, etc. We’ll be coming back!

We couldn’t ask for a better place to spend the weekend in Port Aransas. The condo was perfect and had everything we needed. Loved that we had beach access with the boardwalk. I will definitely be booking again.

The fourth floor location was perfect! The views were magnificent. The place was very quiet and peaceful. The unit was well appointed and just steps to the sand and the water. The hosts were very responsive to messages. We were fortunate enough to see whooping cranes, herons, an alligator and a 500-year old oak tree at the near by National Wildlife Refuge. The experience was everything we hoped for and more. Highly recommend!

This condo was exactly as shown. Clean, nicely decorated. Everything you need. I enjoyed the water view from my living room and bedroom. The sound of the waves, and the beautiful breeze was amazing. Nicely appointed kitchen and bathrooms. I’ll be back! Safe and convenient to local restaurants.

Our family had a great time! We loved the quiet and of course the view is awesome, right on the beach. Too many rules! We both felt the dozen emails with rules and the signs everywhere greatly diminished our enjoyment of this beautiful property. Also, the only bathtub was deconstructed and unusable. The property was nearly empty. Why not offer us a fully functioning substitute? The phone call from management an hour before check in telling us about the tub was so unprofessional and unhinged I ended up hanging up. So while I will stay at this property again, I will not stay in a unit managed by Sand Key. Fortunately there are units managed by other property management companies.

We had a wonderful stay. The condo is in a great location, very quiet with beautiful views! The condo is beautiful, the only thing that I didn’t like was the bed, it was too soft and squishy for us, but that is a personal opinion. Other than that, we loved it and will definitely book it again!

Me and a friend booked this condo for a couple days girls trip and had a wonderful time. The condo looks exactly like the photos and everything was spotless. The view was definitely the favorite part of the space. The balcony faces the sunrise and water which was beautiful to watch in the mornings and gave nice shade in the afternoons. We didn’t use the pool but it was very well maintained. The entire condo building is pretty small so there weren’t a ton of people there. It felt very private and we had little to no noise the entire stay. The host was very responsive and handled any questions we had quickly. Would love to take my family there next time we have a long weekend.

To be polite, they gave me the wrong door code. After hours of trying to get in had to find another place to stay. It was a nightmare.

We really enjoyed our stay with our grandchildren. Easy access to the beach. Plenty of room for all of us. The decor was beautiful. The back porch view of the ocean was enjoyed by all.

The condo was bigger, nicer, and better than I expected. The views from this apartment are magnificent and the pool was lovely. Everything about the apartment and complex were well thought-out for comfort and convenience - from the carts at ground level to the very smooth and well-cared for walkway to the Gulf. The only downside was a moon jellyfish invasion in the Texas gulf that kept us for swimming - not something that the apartment owners could do anything about, but worth looking into if you're thinking of visiting. A great place to stay. I would definitely come back.

We really enjoyed the beautiful view from almost anywhere in the condo. I especially enjoyed being able to see the Gulf from my master bedroom bed. The master suite was by far nicer (as it should be) than the twin bedroom where my friend said the the beds weren't as comfy as the master bed. Other than some minor door hardware problems with the patio door everything was as advertised and lovely. I'd recommend it and I hope to come back next year. My husband and I fell in love with this condo last year on our first trip to Port Aransas together. We’ve returned twice, and plan our trip around the availability of this condo. That’s how perfect it is for us!

Beautiful location, modern and well kept condo.

We took my soon to be 80 year old Mom to Port A because she wanted to see the water and this view did not disappoint! Plus we had the elevator for her and no stairs. The home was perfectly clean and well appointed. My messages were answered quickly. I honestly do not have one negative thing to say. It was a lovely experience overall.

The balcony view. Honestly, I did not want to leave. It was so gorgeous. Watching the sunrise over the ocean each morning was so incredibly beautiful. Stepping out to the balcony where you can see and hear the ocean is just pure magic. We will most definitely be going back. It’s a must stay. Clean, comfy, beautiful and relaxing.

We had a good weekend here. The property was immaculately clean and located on the 4th floor with unobstructed views of the sea. Everything was functional and well thought out. The property had direct beach access via a short boardwalk and the unit had a cart and pop up canopy available for guests to use which made lugging all of a toddler’s things to the beach much easier. I would stay here again without hesitation. Only thing that could be perceived as a negative is that it is a few miles south of town. If you’re looking for something where you can walk to town, this isn’t it. For us, the quiet relatively secluded location was a feature rather than a bug. Truly a delightful place with great, communicative hosts.

We had a great stay and plan to return in the future! The condo had incredible ocean views and was such an easy walk to the beach (and the included beach wagon was really helpful to have). Everything was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We had our baby with us, so it was also nice that they had a highchair in the condo. The host was also very responsive!

The condo itself was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed, from a fully stocked kitchen to comfortable furniture. The bed was a dream after long days on the beach. ​Speaking of the beach, the location couldn't be better. It was just a short walk from the condo to the sand, and we loved how convenient it was to pop back and forth. Provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out and were quick to answer any questions we had. ​If you're looking for a perfect beach getaway, this is the place. We left feeling refreshed and already can't wait to book our next trip here. Highly recommend!

Our condo was extremely nice. Comfortable bed, good water pressure, well stocked kitchen for cooking and incredible view from our 4th floor balcony! The only thing I would suggest is to install a grab bar in the shower as it was a bit slippery. Highly recommend this location!

Our stay was great. There were a couple of things that didn't work when we arrived like the ceiling fan in the living room and the door knob out to the patio. There were two dirty towels in one of the bathrooms. I notified Sand Key and they were very quick with their response. These items did not keep us from enjoying our stay though. I would definitely stay there again and have recommended it to friends and family.

I prefer to stay in a new or recently remodeled home so this was perfect. The condo was clean & well kept. The pool was great. The short walk down the boardwalk to the ocean was amazing! The view from the master bed room & living room was peaceful & serine. Perfect for 4 guests.

We were pleased with our stay ! The Ocean view was excellent. The accessibility to the beach was great . The space was nice and comfortable. However , there were items in the condo that needed repair .

This condo is was exactly as advertised and then some! The view is spectacular and the place was spotless. The bed was comfortable (only used king, not the twins) and bedroom stayed nice and dark and was very quiet so we slept great! We commented more than once that this was one of the best kept and cleanest properties and grounds we have ever stayed at (we rent all over the country)! Having a beach wagon and then a clean boardwalk to the beach was awesome! We will definitely book again when we visit Port A! P.S. The communication was also outstanding!

Lovely apartment on 4th floor, lifts very welcome. Lovely kitchen with great facilities. Balcony was lovely to sit on all day as there was shade and sun.

The condo is as described and was clean, and the pool was very nice. Note that the beach towels are NOT provided and while this is annoying, it is balanced by having other beach accessories such as a beach wagon and a rake for cleaning a beach spot. The condo could use more drinking cups, and more importantly the dryer is excessively loud and should be looked at. And lastly, note that you will have to complete the booking on the company's website and pay additional property damage insurance.

Loved our stay! Took our daughter and she woke up each morning saying “wow” to the view. The pool was clean and very nice. The boardwalk to the beach is nice. The location has breathtaking views, it’s clean, beautiful, and comfortable.

We stayed here for our anniversary and loved it! The view was amazing from the huge porch. The condo was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. Can't wait to book again!

This beautiful condo is the ONLY place we'll stay when we are in Port A! We actually planned our mini-vacation based on the availability of it. The views are second to none, the decor is perfect, bed is comfy, elevators are RELIABLE, pool is spotless clean, and the walk to the beach is a breeze. Can't wait to come back again. We celebrated my sister’s 30th birthday here and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. It was incredibly easy to walk down to the beach and the space was very comfortable. Would happily stay here again in the future.

Just as Described with STUNNING VIEW! Loved this condo! Just the right amount of space for a family of four with all the amenities we wanted! The walk to the beach was easy and beautiful, and the pool was a hit with our kids. The full-size washer and dryer also came in handy for our 5-day stay.Bring extra towels if you plan to stay longer than a couple of days, or plan to wash the ones they leave you (we only got 4 with two hand towels - no kitchen towels). Also, bring extra soap. We plan to come back soon! Thanks, again, to the property managers for the great communication, easy check-in/out, and relaxing stay.

The condo was perfect. The bed was extremely comfortable. Absolutely would visit again. The entrance was a-bit hard to find after dark and the time of year we visited was foggy most evenings so not having a sign was a little trying. We didn’t care for the a couple of the booking policies. Every time we got a message we had to log back in and add a code. It was a bit confusing with the secondary company that we had to give info to. We did get a couple of messages that were inaccurate that had us on edge as far as whether we would be in the place we booked. In addition we received a massage about 24hrs before saying they were replacing the roof, not too big of a deal overall. The pool was not accessible due to this but we didn’t mind since we were able to go to the beach. This was our first trip to Texas and would love to return one day for another visit. Lots of new things were being built so I am sure it will change almost over night. Thank you so much for a great few days.

Oceanfront view Good location. 2 minute walk to a quiet beach. Tucked nicely between two communities. One quiet & quaint with all the necessities, and a city with Hobby Lobby. Condo was spacious, clean & comfortable. It had most everything we needed. Communication with host was quick & easy.

Excellent We found the unit clean. Everything functioned well. Great tv. Decor was quality. Amenities were top notch. Patio was large with comfortable seating. The sun rose directly in front of the patio, over a stellar ocean view. It is a two minute walk over a well maintained foot bridge to a lovely beach. Check in and check out were simple. Good parking. Good elevators. Port Aransas is just a few minutes away. Virginias on the Beach has nice waterfront dining and good food. I will say the king bed is overly soft and slopes toward the center, but waking and watching the sun rise from bed can’t be beat. The grounds and building are well maintained. It would be nice if there was a sign at the highway entrance marking the turn off to the building, as it is easy to miss especially at night. Highly recommend this unit.

Perfect time of year to stay. We loved it. My only complaint which I’m sure is all in my head is the ring doorbell. It just made me feel as if someone could be listening whenever they want.

Beautiful place with amazing views!

We fell in love with the view and comes with a spacious balcony with ample seating. A short walk to the beach and drive to shops and restaurants. It was cozy and clean. We stayed for 2 days and all the bath and kitchen toiletries provided sufficed, if planning for a longer stay bring your own. Also bring your own beach towels and chairs. The host was prompt with response time and communication was excellent. We’d come back again.

Loved this condo and location so much! So close to the beach and the top floor view was stunning! Very clean and the pictures are accurate. Looks new! Loved how the bedrooms were separated and had their own bathrooms. The host was very friendly and responsive. Easy check in and check out. Will definitely be back!

It was an exquisite and spacious apartment ! We felt right at home. Million $ view of ocean front , gorgeous sunrises . All from the master bedroom, living room and patio . We didn’t want to leave !

Now my favorite local beach front vacation spot! It was exactly as advertised and hoped for. Loved the ocean view from the balcony. Felt like home away from home with private walkway to the beach. Email response was great from host. We enjoyed every bit of time we were there.

Great view and amenities. Large balcony with full oven view, very nice. Only complaint was not enough wash rags for 4 people and the causeway to beach from property was closed because of construction. Luckily there was another Public walkway to beach right next to it.

Great place close to beach big pool. The only thing you cannot have golf carts on property.

Very nice Great location and direct access to the beach was perfect for our needs. Word of caution… there is an owner (not the owner of this rental) who does NOT like drones to be used on the property. She called the police and gave them false information. The police were very annoyed with the owner for calling them. The owner also called the property manager and gave false information including reporting we were smoking weed. But even with that, we plan to rent the unit again.

My family and I were in love with this condo. It is perfect for a family of 4. Beautiful views and the beach is so close. I would recommend this condo to everyone. Very clean and had everything we needed. Awesome pool for little kids and big kids. We will be coming back in the future.
