Lovely Lodge and stay and overall would recommend Positive: Overall the lodge was good, WiFi was decent so kids were happy as well as being able to watch tv. The Hot Tub was nice and rooms were fine Negative: The kids beds were tiny, my 14 and 15 year olds hated the beds as they were too big for them so had to sleep with bent legs all night. Not great if you are a taller kid. There were no heating instructions so for the first few hours it was freezing. Had to ring hosts who sent a site maintenance guy to figure out how to work it. Turns out it needed to be on ‘Timed’ to work rather than ‘on’.

Family Weekend away Positive: Nice and quiet site. Hot tub was great. Lodge was clean with everything you need. Kids park kept them busy. It was a shame pub onsite was shut but was only 5 min walk to pub on site next to this one. Had arcade to keep kids busy. There was a singer on the Saturday night. Negative: Not something host could deal with but there was alot of wasps on site. It was warm and with having doors and windows open they would come in. There is fly and wasp spray in cupboard

Lovely little lodge Positive: Great lodge great location for day trips very quiet n peaceful place ....the hamper basket was very thoughtful. Lodge was very cozy on the nights defiantly stay again even without the kids. Negative: Shower head wasnt very great but had bath instead.....Hot tub was brill but either have someone come clean during stay or leave instructions on how to clean as it was green by Saturday.

Overall a nice stay but a few feedback areas Overall nice lodge/park - nice touch with welcome pack and doggy treats. Few areas to consider for owner - one of the kids beds was very uncomfortable to the extent that our daughter slept on the sofa bed in lounge. The cleaning/host fees extortionate (£90 plus £45) for the size of the lodge. I am a property owner/renter myself and know how much a clean costs after a stay and it is no where near £90 (presuming cleaners on minimum wage or thereabouts means it takes 8 hours to clean and prep the lodge - I'd say 3 hours max). Overall rating marked down because of these 2 areas.

Great family stay at the lodge over Christmas with some decorations to make it festive. Clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Comfortable beds and the hot top was lovely on an evening. Easy check-in and communication from the host was brilliant.

We had a fantastic time at New Year everyone loved it and we will definitely be looking to book again this year highly recommend it you will not be disappointed

We had a wonderful stay here in-between Christmas and New year. The place had everything we needed and more. Perfect location aswell right next to Northumberland zoo. Which we thoroughly enjoyed aswell

Great location to explore Northumberland. The static caravan isn't a lodge and it is starting to show signs of age with parts looking tired and beds uncomfortable. Cold in the winter months but we did go in December. Strong smell of dogs, granted it is a dog friendly accommodation, but not great if you don't have any. Hot tub is alright. Good hot water and shower. Could do with a few cupboards emptying of excess pint glasses so you can put your food and supplies in.

Had a good stay after got over the disappointed of everything Negative: We were a party of six people , there was not enough dishes glasses or cutlery for that amount to have the same . Only 4 knifes . Furnishing had holes in the cushions lots of corners on the furniture was scraped or bits hanging off .. hot tub lid was difficult to manage . Also not a lot of jets seemed quite old compared to what I’ve had in other places for the price . Went wash hot tub towels and washing machine was full of dog hairs . Didn’t bother .

We enjoyed our stay and the park was lovely. Positive: It was a lovely lodge, very clean and large living area. Hot tub was also great. Beds were actually comfy just short on length. Also really nice that you can take your dog. Negative: I would just say the single beds were really short. Also lots of spiders, wasps and flies but to be expected in the countryside so be prepared!

The location and communication were great. There has been a lot of effort into making the Airbnb welcoming and pleasant. The living rooms, kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms were all well maintained and very clean. If you are looking for a base to sleep in and spend your days visiting local attractions it fits the bill perfectly. There was however a very strong smell of dog in the living room , which is understandable as it is a dog friendly rental. Unfortunately the hot tub has seen better days, and sounded as if it is on its last legs. I would recommend bring your own towels. Although we were given an abundance of hand towels, we had only 2 larger towels for 3 adults, and these were still very small. When we requested an extra towel we were told it would be sorted, but never was, so ended up buying our own towels. Although the rental was ideal for our trip it was rather over priced for what it is.

Our stay at Yolo Lodge was extremely disappointing and nowhere near the standard I expected for the price paid. I felt the listing and photographs gave a very different impression of the property we actually arrived at. It felt tired, poorly maintained and unclean, with broken items and poor overall presentation. There were also inaccuracies in the listing, including describing two bathrooms when there is one bathroom plus a separate toilet and sink, an iron listed that we couldn’t find, and parking for up to two cars which was not realistically available. I raised the issues during our stay and provided photographs. A re-clean was arranged and we stayed out from 9am–5pm to allow access, only to return and find it hadn’t been done. I then cancelled it rather than lose more of our holiday waiting around. Ultimately, cleaning alone wouldn’t have resolved the main issue: the overall quality and condition did not reflect the listing or the price paid. I would never stay again.

Positive: Nothing to like at 515 pound very disappointed Negative: To start im not type person to write negative unless its true. Disappointed with all the lodge damp smell very out dated. Bad stains rust from chair legs on carpet. No bathroom mirror hot tub very small also did not get cleaned on visit. To be told from neighbour next lodge they only paid 300 pound. Compared to 500 15 pound. We paid was kick in teeth 🤪 for what we recived from our lodge. Feel robbed on our family weekend 😪

Really enjoyed our stay Positive: We loved the hot tub it was very relaxing. The living room area was nice and big to chill out in on a night time. We loved all the rooms had tvs in. Negative: The decking area could do with cleaning but it was still nice to sit out on.

Great location with plenty to do nearby. Lodge came with plenty amenities and a well resourced kitchen. Could do with some basic decor improvements, particularly in the bathrooms that seemed a little tired. EV charging was available on site NOT at the lodge. Charging rates quite high. That being said we would recommend again!

Positive: Loved the hottub and the location of the park.

The lodge itself was nice enough but there was a smell of urine in the lounge area. I complained but no cleaner turned up. Eventually I realised that the mat at the patio doors was where the smell was coming from , so i put it outside. I dont understand how the cleaning staff didnt smell that before handing the lodge over for us to stay in.

YOLO lodge had everything we could want even down to a phone charger, beds were clean well the full lodge was spotless, kitchen had everything you needed for self catering I was pleasantly pleased with how equipped the lodge was. The host was great sent clear instructions on how to get to the lodge and into the lodge only bad thing I can say is that we didn’t book for longer, Thankyou to host and stay who were amazing.

Nice place to stay and quiet

Never again Positive: Heating worked. Nice fridge. Negative: Bathroom is a disgrace black mould all around Bath, the double mattress is too big for the bed base, the outside decking green mouldy under table and chairs, rubbish lying down the side of the hot tub, the living room carpet was badly stained. This is not what we expected, very disappointing we would not return or recommend. The timeout bar an absolute waste of time never being open

Location was ideal, very private and relaxing setting with the addition of the hot tub. Would highly recommend.

No communication, phoned 3 times regarding hot tub, told someone would get back but no response. Paid the extra to have a lodge with hot tub but unfortunately not. Beds in both bedrooms extremely small and no en-suite shower

Lovely caravan just a shame past guests haven’t respected it and damaged it . I also did my own cleaning before leaving in respect for the owner and when i removed the settee cushions it was covered in crumbs and crisps so obviously the cleaners never clean there . Other than the above it was lovely , clean bedding and towels and well stocked kitchen and lovely welcome pack .

Mrs Easy to find. Absolutely everything you could need already there, E.g. tea, sugar, coffee, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls, washing up liquid. Plenty of cleaning products for you to use if needed. Towels and bedding. Spa was lovely and hot. Good parking, nothing on site as such but that’s not why we went. Good location for Alnwick, Morpeth and Amble, although pulling out onto the A1 was tricky at times! All in all an enjoyable stay!

Positive: The property was as expected for this type of lodge, enjoyed the shower! Negative: Problems from holiday company taking money via booking.com and claiming it was my fault.
