Second visit to this beach chalet, love this place. My boys love the beach and sea which is within walking distance and very quiet. Not the easiest of walks though, may not be suitable for all. The chalet is well equipped and comfortable. Towels and bedding supplied. It’s so much bigger than how it looks from the front. Freezer, washing machine and dryer are located in the back section which is so handy. Also beach bits like buckets and spades. The only negative is that the garden isn’t closed in so although dog friendly, we have to take a lead with a stake so our dog can’t get onto the road. Would be perfect if it had a fence like a lot of the others. Plan to rebook for next year.

Wylaway no way Positive: The setting and the weather were lovely. The beds were comfy and the kitchen and outbuildings well stocked, Negative: The garden was not secure for dogs, I had to use the bins to provide fencing. Wifi, totally non existent! Sand underneath all the furniture, clearly not been hoovered for some time, Lots of personal affects and draws in lounge full of junk, Shower curtain covered in mould and dirt and flooded bathroom, shower panel has obviously not been replaced! Putting the lights on in the evening caused the electricity to trip! Standing on a chair to reset the fuse box was not what I expected whilst "on holiday " There were no extra channels on the TV as indicated in the details The cooker was great the hob couldn't have been more complicated... The smoke alarm was hanging from the ceiling and the outside bench was too unsafe to sit on.. We contacted host and stay several times whilst we were there, but nothing was rectified during our stay! Considering the price,was definitely not value for money and I was only offered a 20% refund for all the problems we encountered, will not be returning!!

Superb, welcoming place. Positive: Beautiful location, spacious cottage and really welcoming place. Facilities in the cottage were excellent and we had a great stay. The beach is superb for dog walking.

Amazing place, great location and views, very clean, could do with a few upgrades, would stay again Positive: It was very close to the beach, clean and lovely views Negative: Could do with a fenced garden, was having to keep an eye on the dogs every time they needed the bathroom to keep them safe from cars going past, could do with a freezer as well, there was also a small amount of water coming through the floor in the bedroom right where the extension lead sat, unplugged it straight away and didn't use it

We had the best stay, was such a peaceful place with a beautiful view and was blown away by the stunning beach. Our grandchildren loved every moment. All the amenities you could need and more, it was perfect!!! We can’t wait to return. All we can say is thank you!!

We had a great week. Host & Stay was very responsive and helpful. The space provided was pleasant and easy reach to and from the seaside. Lovely to see wildlife such as terns and seals in their natural environment.

The location was beautiful and the cabin was well furnished but there were a lot of general maintenance problems which could lead to a nasty accident. The table and bench almost collapsed after sitting at it, and the steps up to the beach are very dangerous as the rope is broken all the way along and 1 of the posts v loose. Both have been highlighted before by previous tenants , the table and chair most recently by the tenants who arrived just before us and the rope being broken up the steps 2 years ago , despite this maintenance hasn’t been carried out and the company didn’t feel they had a duty of care to inform of risk to use ! The property was listed as having WiFi which didn’t work ! We booked the property because of the WiFi as we both needed to work. It was reported by the previous tenants that it didn’t work. Host and Stay should have offered alternative accommodation so they could fix Wi-Fi and the dangerous maintenance issues. Found nappy left in draw looked dirty !

The place grew on us and by the end of the week we didn't want to leave. We wanted quiet and isolation and that's what we got. The access to the beach from the back garden is treacherous. Access from further down the road is possible but not if you have health issues or disabilities. I managed it just but my wife couldn't.

Positive: The location is fantastic, and it is great accommodation, Negative: but not cleaned very well,floors no sweep properly, when taking our shoes off at the entrance the floor was full of sand.Only old brush not suitable for sweeping.Bathroom radiator was really dirty,sink not clean.Thick dust in lots of places,cobwebs under pots and pan cabinets. Stripped beds as we left early, and both duvets are full of stains,I did take pictures.They are disgusting. for the amount of £155 a night, the stranded should be a lot higher. It's such a shame that the low stranded cleaning is spoiled a fantastic holiday let. We would not return or recommend.

Fantastic location! Couldn’t have asked for better. Having the beach literally on your doorstep was amazing! The accommodation was as stated and was exactly as the pictures showed. Had everything we needed for our stay. Would return back.

A beautiful beach house with your own private path over the dunes to the beach. What’s not to love thank you! Positive: It was a wonderful place and perfect for a coastal getaway even in winter. Negative: We really did love it, just maybe needs a lick of paint on the skirting boards, a bit of extra clean in those areas and bathroom corners.

Very peaceful location that we needed very much Negative: Everything was absolutely fine apart from the living room furniture as the dining room table and chairs and settee and also coffee table needed an update .

Excellent property in an awesome location. Some minor niggles Positive: Awesome location, so close to the beach and down a quiet little road. Plenty of parking. Wi-fi had been reset since an earlier review and worked a treat. Beds were comfy, the kitchen well equipped and the shed had a lot of bonus extra bits and bobs like deck chairs and body boards. I did see an earlier review about the unkempt outside space, it was basic but I given the property is basically built into the sand dune the sand everywhere was no surprise and growing anything more than a bit of rough grass is clearly a challenge. The neighbours were also friendly and welcoming. Negative: Single bedroom had a cabin bed. It was just described as a single. The plan was for my 84 year old mother to have that room, so the plan had to change which wasn't ideal. Maybe update the description? The shower flooded while we were there, we called it in one evening, not surprised the company didn't send a plumber that night but they didn't do anything until we chased the next day which was disappointing. The plumber did turn up eventually and fixed the leak but it then needed to dry overnight so 36 hours without a shower all together. Could have been 24 if they'd got on to it at 9am. Bedding and towels included but no bath mat or tea towel. I had thought to bring a tea towel but a bath mat would have been really nice.

Just what the doctor ordered Positive: Location is amazing right on the beach. Everything in the property that you would need. Negative: Couldn’t get wifi to work.

Nice location, but the place needs a good clean. Positive: I liked the location. Negative: I didn’t like the fact that it wasn’t clean - especially the bed covers, as getting into a bed with sand and dirty pillows was awful. It didn’t also have the basics for example salt and pepper. We had to wash all the dishes and cutlery before we used them as they were again greasy and dirty. I think the instructions on how to switch all the plugs on need to be emailed before hand, as the folder with all the instructions on how to switch everything on like hot water and heating was hidden on the book shelf between books. I think you need to speak a little bit of money on the place to bring it up to scratch and also make sure your cleaners are actually cleaning and changing the bed covers especially.
