Pleasant stay nr York Positive: The lodge was very comfortable and well set up with towels and bedding. Great size rooms which qas handy as there were 6 of us in total and a dog. Also really liked the utility room which was handy for the wet dog and storing muddy boots! We didnt get s chance to try the on site restaurant but we did go for dinner to the village pub nearby and it was lovely, family friendly which coming from Scotland is a novelty ! Negative: Not stayed somewhere that required a security deposit before was worried about getting our money back as it took a while. Have stayed in plenty places with hot tubs too.
