Cosy studio flat - great value for money, decent location for exploring the coast Positive: Handy location for exploring this bit of the Yorkshire coast. Nice studio flat - handy kitchen and decent bathroom. Great value for what it offers. Lovely view, too, overlooking the cricket pitch. Negative: The brick walls were crumbling around us and woke us up a few times each night as brick dust and particles fell onto and around the bed. The bricks could be varnished or stabilised better so they don't create such a mess or risk falling onto guests.

Accommodation was on top floor but not a problem as we had views over the cricket pitch. It was clean and spacious. Good location. Definitely value for money. Host friendly and tentative e-mails.

Cold, pleasurable, snug. Positive: One of the radiators didn’t work so it got quite cold, the shower wasn’t great and there were cobwebs in the bathroom. However, the rest of then property was very clean and the other facilities were really good and the overall place was really nice. Good value for money. The electric blanket was a life saver.

Mr & Mrs T. Positive: Great room,good facilities, comfortable bed,great size tv. Negative: Blinds could do with a good dust,glass coffee table was full of smears,and if its hot a fan would be a good idea,washer dryer was great but some instructions would have been useful.

Lovely apartments perfect for a couple! The view onto the cricket ground was fantastic especially with the sunset! Spacious and well done out. Only downside was the heating didn’t seem to work and was a little chilly! Would recommend staying here to anyone!

Great location, very walkable to the beach. Apartment was well equipped (though could use some hanging space), clean, warm and easy. Bed was extremely comfortable. Stairs kept us fit. Pet friendly

Should have been a lot better Positive: Location good. Could have been great but poor in too many aspects. Negative: Brick dust all over the bed & carpet.Nlinds dusty and broken. Cobwebs behind TV and on the rsj. No tea towel or kitchen paper, dirty mugs,no oven gloves,no scissors. No Internet as the router had been removed.TV remote with low charge batteries. Stale smell in bathroom, dirty shower head and door seal coming off. Rang for assistance re the internet. Worse than useless. Electronic book for the property was poor.

Not a great stay. Positive: Location. Negative: Unfortunately the studio wasn’t up to standard. No WiFi in Wicket View although it stated it had, the shower does not work properly, it’s either freezing or scalding hot. There were some cleanliness / health and safety issues which I have raised with the host.

Beautiful apartment, great location, would absolutely recommend Positive: We had a lovely stay here and would definitely come back! The apartment is beautiful — really cool and quirky, beautifully decorated and such a lovely space to stay in. We both really liked it and it was a great base for our weekend in Scarborough for my daughters gymnastics competition. We had a couple of small issues during our stay, but communication with the host was excellent and everything was dealt with really quickly, which we really appreciated. Overall we had a brilliant weekend and would happily stay here again. the bed is really comfortable and the location is great. Thank you! 😊 Negative: Nothing as mentioned the apartment is gorgeous and the view is fantastic. We had a couple of issues but the communication was absolutely brilliant with the host, none of the issues we experienced would stop us from coming back - just one of these things that no one is at fault and were resolved quickly and professionally. I would recommend this accommodation.

As above property needs proper attention to detail regarding cleanliness Positive: We liked it looked modern on the photographs and location. Negative: It was very unclean, very unsanitary, cobwebs everywhere,crumbs on mattress, dust in many places and part of the brick wall was crumbling and pieces falling everywhere, not so great with someone who is limited vision. I am a cleaner and think housekeeping needs to be updated with every book and cranny as even the blinds were thick in dust and towel rail wasn’t particularly clean for placing towels on and walls were dirty in bathroom. On arrival problem with main door and couldn’t access property and was given number of locksmith after a few calls and even he was confused about communication on job details regarding the door. There was no wardrobe and drawers were not very deep, full of crumbs and dust no where to hang clothes.

Didn't mind the cobwebs or Brickwork crumbling on the bed which I naively thought would be remedied due to previous guests mentioning it. But it was a reminder why I won't book through management companies any more. WiFi went down and theres just no one around to sort things like that out. It's all just Pointless phone calls which eat into your valuable holiday time.

Great value, convenient and comfortable. Positive: On arrival, we found lots of little little essentials that could be overlooked. It was great to find tea, coffee and milk sachets, a tea towel, a little bar of soap for hand washing and a loo-roll. These were great as we could get refreshed before heading to the shops. The location, with views over the cricket ground, was great and handy for the local area as we had travelled by train. The apartment was thoughtfully styled and comfortable, really good value for money. Negative: These are all small things but the shower found it difficult to settle on a comfortable temperature and it wasn't very powerful. Oven gloves would be helpful too as we saved money by eating in a few times. Also, a couple of wine glasses wouldn't go amiss, it was nice to see champagne flutes though!

Ideal place for all of the attractions

Do not book!!!!!! Positive: Nothing, we didn't stay for longer than a couple of hours Negative: The room was absolutely filthy. There was cobwebs everywhere, and massive spiders. The window blinds were shut and covered in thick dust. There was crumbling brick dust over the tv unit, shelves and carpet. There was old crumbs in the utensil drawers and cupboards. The bed was disgusting. It had old stains, red over it and black mites on the matteress. The bathroom absolutely stunk like a sewage works. It was even worse after you flushed the toilet. It made us gag. I tried to contact the hosts, who never got back to me or found me alternative accommodation or offered a clean, leaving me and my 8 year old SEN child stranded at the coast. Booking.com were even less helpful. We had to leave and return home, it ruined our entire holiday. No refund yet, have lost hundreds of pounds and the hosts keep sending the same email over and over just apologising for the experience. Do not book the wickets view!!

Great self catering apt Positive: Lovely apt overlooking the cricket club, all you need for a self catering holiday. On north cliff, close to the open air theatre, if there for a gig. Negative: I liked everything but a few suggestions ... Definitely parking permits! Scissors Fan Somewhere to hang clothes 🤍

Great stay Positive: Location, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed. Good communication and advice. Good view of the cricket pitch! Negative: Unfortunately the bathroom drains smelt very unpleasant. Probably due to hot weather and standing water however it really needs to be addressed.

Lovely apartment, great location. Positive: Lovely, well-decorated apartment, clean and comfortable with good bathroom and kitchen facilities. Great view of the cricket ground from the back window - turned out to be a good place to go for a drink if there's a game on as well, very friendly people there. We loved the location of the flat, close to the open air theatre where we had booked tickets to a concert. We really like the North Bay part of Scarborough too, much calmer than the South Bay. Charlie at Host & Stay was very helpful and responsive to our questions too. If we come back to Scarborough, we would definitely stay here again. Negative: Parking in Scarborough is tricky, do your homework before you come so that you know where you will be parking.

Nice clean apartment but the cons outweigh the pros Positive: Great location & very clean. Great view of the cricket field. Well equipped. Comfy bed. Great tv. Very nice apartment. Negative: The keybox was difficult to access. Because it was high up there were a lot of stairs to climb & so not easy to get up & down with luggage. Couldnt get the wifi as promised, as the network could not be found & the location of the router was not obvious. No parking permit supplied & the overnight stay car park was a 15 min walk away. Because the apartment hadnt been used for some time the drains in the bathroom smelt, but resolved by running the shower. The window blinds were difficult to manage & did not keep out the early morning light. Nowhere to hang your clothes, just a set of drawers.

Positive: Location for the open air theatre was ideal. Not to far from the town centre either. Negative: Nothing to dislike.

Fabulous location Positive: The accommidation was clean and comfortable. Little extras were very welcome. Ie washing machine and dishwasher tablets, milk and tea bags etc. The accommidation was in a very hoid pidiyion which meant we did not use the car and everything we needed was within walking distance, so would strongly recommend. Negative: In amenities it mentioned hair dryer, so I did not take one with me. However on arrival there was not one in the property, which was awkward. As we are both in our late 70s the stairs were a slight problem. We knew about them on booking so we're prepared. Not a major problem though.

To start the place was very dusty I suffer with copd secondly used bath towels with marks left to be used again shower enclosure was a death trap and the the bed the bed was small but managed

Well equipped and clean within a short walk of the sea front, and the city centre maybe just a few hanging points for your jackets to hang…

The location was great with a very responsive host , lovely apartment in a great location was just a few minor things the wall crumbled on our heads over night no fault of anyones and it could have been a little bit cleaner but other than this it was a lovely stay.

Good Positive: The modern feel and the big bay window looking out onto the cricket field. It had a really homely vibe to it Negative: Needed a better clean dust on light crap in the sink including some screw and pots on the drainer

Excellent Positive: How clean it was and the facility it has also useful USB charging ports located next to the bed beautifully decorated Negative: The amount of stairs we had to go up and down and the drainge smell every time we opened the door

Comfortable but standards are low Positive: Good location Negative: Disgusting smell in the bathroom, cleaning left a lot to be desired glasses provided we’re just 3 flutes no tumblers. Basic tv no apps no way to cast to tv. Brick dust everywhere even in the bed we could sit in the evening and listen to pieces of brick dropping off the wall. Blinds all damaged Concerned that these issues had been put in reviews in 2024 and still not rectified in 2025.

Nice studio accommodation . Close to town centre and train station . Sea path walks a five minute walk away .

We stayed in the top floor studio for 2 nights. It was ok, not clean though, so the cleaner needs to spend more time on that aspect. Parking is a hassle. No glasses and basic lack of knives (some were broken), utensils and cooking equipment, only very few cups, bowls, plates etc. Very small pieces of brick and pointing fell from the walls several times, which was disconcerting. Overall, more care and attention from the host needed.

Overall our stay was lovely. The accommodation is in a central location and walking distance to town and the beach. You can park outside the apartment from 5pm - 9am daily free of charge or there is a payable car park less than 5 mins walk away which you can keep your car 24 hours. The reason I have not given 5 stars is due to the cleanliness of the apartment. On first glance it was very tidy however we quickly noticed areas for improvement. For example, when entering the bathroom we noticed splashes of something red all up the door frame of the door (we wiped this away easily so this could have been done prior to arrival). We also noticed lots of cobwebs around which to be honest were pretty hard to miss. Lots in the bathroom, above the bed and around the kitchen. I work in hospitality so I don’t think my expectations are overly high but it was disappointing having to go round myself and wipe marks away and get rid of cobwebs.

Great location, walking distance from all our needs. Could have been alot cleaner and was lacking some basic necessities but the bed provided was very comfy.

Brilliant place to stay. Clean, tidy and modern. The blinds could do with being slightly better to block out the morning sun! But apart from that everything was perfect, thank you.

Good location but not for car parking.Didnt realise it was on the top floor (my mistake) my back certainly didnt thank me.Cleanliness the rug was dirty and underer the sink was very dirty.Only one glass.But brilliant view of the pitch and near enough to town and the outside theatre.

Disappointing due to cleanliness of apartment. Positive: Good location. Near sea front and open air theatre. Great views over the cricket pitch. Negative: The bathroom had a terrible smell on arrival which improved after I’d cleaned it and opened the windows for a few hours. It took 24 hours to clear completely. Kitchen was clean but lounge and bedroom could have been cleaner. Rug in lounge was dirty. Not enough glasses and only 2 forks.

Relaxing and comfortable and peaceful. Positive: The property is very modern and tidy and clean. Negative: There isn’t any dislike to mention. Maybe some extra glasses as we had to drink pop out of mugs but no bother.

Very nice apartment with all the necessary utilities I required and more. Also has free parking right outside between the hours of 6pm and 9am which was perfect for me as that was the only time I needed to park the care. Also very close to beach within a 10 minute walk and lovely view of the cricket stadium.

Could be a nice apartment, maintenance and cleanliness extremely sub standard. Negative: Shower enclosure was absolutely filthy, only 1 fork in the cutlery drawer, Kettle was full of limescale, extraction fan filthy and not working, lounge area lights and dining area light not working, window cracked from top to bottom and patched up with Duct Tape, damaged roof tiles causing banging noise in the wind all night,

Arrived at the property to find it had no parking when it advertised it did. This was sorted my manager Mel she arranged for us to have a parking permit. The property was absolutely filthy the window overlooking the cricket field was cracked all the way down and covered with cellotape but it moved in the wind and it made the place freezing. The bathroom had wee in the loo and flys. The shower was full of grime and hairs. The place smelt of cigarettes and there was a party going on in the room below us. It cost me £135 plus £25 insurance waver (which was supposed to include a £50 cleaning fee that wasn’t done) I took pictures and videos to show how bad this place was. It really was awful please don’t waste your money going here. After making a complaint i finally after weeks of waiting got a response and they said that they are going to give me £100 back even though I haven’t been given the full amount back which is outrageous I have to appreciate the work that manager Mel did to help.

Very well placed to explore all of Scarborough. Hint about carparking. You can get a Disc park from the local store on the same road. There is a car park near Peasholme Park that is free until March 1st, we used that to park in the day.

Good location, tidy clean apartment but lots of stairs could be problematic for the less able. Positive: Nice stylish apartment close to town centre very clean on arrival. Negative: Lots of stairs up a narrow staircase. High level windows in attic room so could only see out when standing. No parking pass / permit as other venues have so had to pay extra or move the car daily.
