Grateful for a good location, in a clean, and well maintained property, but disappointed with the service received from Positive: The property was clean, and for the most part had what we needed for a 2 night’s stay. Very close to the beach too. Negative: The sofa bed was missing bedding, I phoned at 5pm when we realised, but the staff at Host & Stay were not able to come to a solution that evening. We had to make- shift needing using beach towels we’d brought. The second day someone did bring a clean sheet, and we happened to be in the flat when they came by. It I never received any communication from Host & Stay to say how they were going to resolve the problem or that there even would be a solution. By the time the sheet had arrived, we’d already spent our morning buying a new sheet for our child to use. We wasted our morning because we didn’t know if we’d have a sheet for that evening. The bed was only a double, which isn’t the worst, but certainly not ideal for a couple. Unfortunately, it was not a comfortable bed, and resulted in poor sleep. Finally, I would have liked at least one extra bin bag so that we could have cleared all our rubbish from the flat. As it was we had to use a carrier bag to get rid of some waste. There are also no street bins provided. The property notes day to use dumpsters at the end of the road, but there are no allocated bins for the property. A kind neighbour let us use their bin, but mentioned that guests using the flat are always using other bins that don’t belong to the property and are using incorrect bin bags too. It’s disappointing to be upsetting the locals as visitors, and though they didn’t blame us, they were obviously not happy with the property management.

This was a great apartment for a couple of nights stay in Margate. Close to Dreamland and the station, the location was Positive: It was right next to the station and close to the beach (few minutes walk). It was on a quiet residential street with corner shops nearby. Negative: It would benefit from some updating of the decor

Convenient but needs more information Positive: The apartment is siuated in a convenient place for buses, trains shops entertainment. However the information booklet needs expanding as details are not sufficient. Rubbish disposal was difficult as there is no bin outside and the dumpster referred to was not available until the day before we left the property. We were there 21 days.

Very disappointing, would not recommend. Positive: The location Negative: We were very disappointed, the apartment was not as expected, it is in need of a good clean and update. There were lots of marks on the carpet and walls, the crockery wasn’t clean, the duvet was old. The sofa bed was very old and uncomfortable. The apartment was very hot with no fans provided. The double bed was very small. The apartment was so disappointed that I had to arrange for children to stay with a relative who lived nearby that we had been visiting.

Convenient but overpriced Positive: The property was only a short walk from the venue that we were attending, so it was convenient. The bed was fairly comfortable, so we slept well enough. Due to the proximity to the beachfront, we were able to go for a stroll in the morning before checking out. Negative: Unfortunately, for the standard of the property, the price was extortionate. The initial impression when we arrived was one of concern, as the property, as well as the road it is on, didn't appear to be particularly well kept. Inside could do with new carpets and a deep clean throughout. Again, for the price, you'd expect better.

Positive: Lokalizacja że było blisko do morza. Negative: Brakowało ręczników, misek, widelcu ogólnie stan kuchni był fatalny. Kontakt z wynajmującym straszny - trzeba było czekać na linii żeby się dodzwonić do obsługi. Pomimo informacji że zostaną przywiezione rzeczy o które prosiłam do końca wyjazdu ich nie dostałam .

Positive: The location with access to trains and buses and also town centre Negative: The cleaning company employed to clean the property. Dust on skirting boards, water marks on cutlery and glasses. All cupboards doors and handles sticky. Had to wash them.

Positive: Nice living room, comfortable bed, was good location for our event at Dreamland. Negative: Would be good to have some ice trays in the freezer no complaints really though great place to stay.

Positive: We went to Dreamland to see Paul Weller. The location was excellent. And very close the the beaches. Negative: Everything was great.

Was quiet and peaceful Positive: Was clean and tidy Negative: Smell of damp downstairs as you come through the front door But only there

Cheap and cheerful Positive: Five minutes from railway station. Two minutes to local shops, cafe, takeaway shops. 10 mins walk to the beach/sea front. Negative: Apartment not in the best area.....run down and rubbish bins overflowing everywhere.

Positive: Clean and tidy apartment, perfect for our weekend break and close enough to everything in the town centre

We had a wonderful weekend. The property was clean, lovely and had everything we needed. The host was amazing with communication and gave us all the information we needed. Thank you :)

Enjoyed My Stay At This Comfortable And Cheerful Flat. Positive: The flat was very comfortable. The weather when I got there was a bit cool and unpredictable but the central heating worked very well. It was nice to be able to control the heating myself from the radiators. The bed and sofa are very comfy and the flat was very quiet. I had a very good holiday in Margate and a great stay at this cheerful and comfy flat. The location is quite convenient too, with a corner shop at the end of the road and a nice cafe and restaurant right around the corner. Also you can walk to the sea front and beach which is about a 5 minute walk away. Negative: I would have liked the checkout time to be a bit later as I don't like rushing to get ready to get out on my last few hours in Margate.

Positive: I liked how much space there was, especially in the living room, excellent water pressure It was like home from home very warming and welcoming I would definitely stay agian Negative: Only that they could upgrade the telly that's it really

Perfect for a short stay, easy access to beach & station.

Great place to spend a few days on vacation. Positive: Very clean, good location. The kitchen has everything you need.

Positive: Cosy flat but light and airy in a side road near to town and a stones throw away from the beach (you can see the sea when you come out of the flat onto the street - less than 5 min walk to the front) Free parking on the street (not guaranteed but I managed to park everyday over the five days I was there). Everything there you need in terms of the kitchen, all the basics, not a huge amount of utensils etc but I didn't struggle to cook full meals every night, like I say, everything you need. Tea, coffee and sugar sachets there upon arrival. Shower was nice and hot on demand which complimentary miniature shower gel, shampoo and hand soap. Free WiFi and smart TV preloaded with Amazon prime. I couldn't get my netflix to work as couldn't connect to WiFi but that didn't bother me (probably me rather than the property). Nice living / dining room space too. I used the bedroom lamp in there to make it more cosy. Nice artwork throughout the property. Really comfy bed and nice bedding in an airy and light bedroom. Chest of drawers and hanging rail too. Large and small mirror to do hair and warpaint! Good iron and ironing board to use. Not a luxury apartment but nice, clean, good location. Near to train station so you can hear the trains, but I like the sounds which weren't intrusive. Would definitely stay again. Negative: Nothing

Positive: Location to transportation, beach and town pubs. Negative: We had an issue with the shower. Warm water ran out. We arrived Friday and didn't get a fix until our last night there.

Empfehlenswert Positive: Super Wohnung, tolle Lage, bequemes Bett, tolle Ausstattung. Negative: Das einzige Minus war die Schlafcouch auf der wir nicht bequem sitzen konnten, das kann aber unserem fortgeschrittenen Alter geschuldet sein.

Positive: The location was excellent. The flat was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Negative: The sofa was not in good condition, ripped covers and unstable due to the wear and tear of being a sofa bed.

Love Margate ❤️ 😍 💖 Positive: I really loved the kitchen – it had all the equipment I needed, including a washing machine with dryer. The welcome coffee and teas were a nice touch. The mattress was very comfortable, and the bed was great for a good night's sleep. The living room and bedroom were spacious and cozy. Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay! Negative: One point for improvement: the sofa bed in the living room could use some attention. It felt a bit unstable and seemed to be falling apart. We tried to sleep on it once, but unfortunately, it wasn't usable.

Positive: Very comfortable stay. Very spacious flat. Great location near a much quieter and calm beach compared to Margate Main. Negative: Bathroom could be cleaner. There are gross stains on the towel heater right next to the toilet that look like a collection of urine stains. It's not that hard to clean it.

I had a lovely stay here and it was only a short walk to the beach and multiple bakeries and cafe which was nice. Tesco was also a short walk which was convenient. The flat was also clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Perfect location for Margate. Comfortable bed and clean linen. Hosts were responsive and polite.

Great location, an absolutely fine place to stay. Positive: Amazing location, a lot of info was shared pre-stay as well. The wifi was decent and the flat was tidy enough with a nice kitchen. Negative: To start with the address is wrong - it's flat 8A not 8, very confusing! The sofa is incredibly uncomfortable, I can't imagine how someone would sleep on that. We also stayed over Pride Weekend (great fun!) so the cost was really not in line with the quality. Hosts wanted an additional £20 as a damage waiver - which I think is incredibly rude. We exchanged some messages and they were not interested in removing the fee. So we paid at least 100% over the regular rate and the extra £20 was the cherry on the top for me.

Good location & clean, comfortable accommodation Positive: Location was ideal for us. Parking was easier than I expected. Property was clean & had all we needed for our stay. Bonus in that from the kitchen window I saw swifts flying around the roofs, we don't have swifts in Carmarthenshire so that was a real joy.

Positive: Clean, private apartment in an extremely convenient location. All modern appliances and basics like towels, tea and coffee. Perfect for our stay, will book again.
