Great accommodation shame about nonparkinf Positive: Everything apart from no parking Negative: No paeking

Positive: Location Negative: Parking.

Accommodation is located in a beautiful area, with quaint pretty streets and shops. Inside the house was clean, tidy and as we expected from the photos. I hadnt read the full itinerary prior to our arrival and therefore didn't notice there was no laundry facilities, although I would still have booked the property. Charlie's response was quick and helpful. Garden area is spotless with a nice area to sit in. A beautiful home from home and would return again.

Nice cottage in a lovely village - great for exploring from.

Lovely well presented cottage. Positive: Good location in Thornton Le Dale. Very well presented and immaculately clean. Great outside space. Negative: Difficult to find. Parking was challenging (until we found the large paid public car park). No bath mat. No clothes rail in double bedroom.

Enjoyable but slightly spoiled by the lack of cleanliness. Positive: Location was good, right in the heart of the village. The cottage and outside space are good. Negative: It was obvious nobody had been in the cottage for a while as it wasn’t clean. There were a lot of dead flies and it was extremely dusty. There were also cobwebs under the top kitchen cupboards. Considering there is a cleaning charge I would have expected someone to go in prior to our arrival to check that everything was clean and ready. The digital online guide was very basic. We had trouble locating where to switch on the shower as the cord is in an unusual place. A comprehensive written information pack in the cottage would be invaluable.
