I chose to stay at this property for 5 weeks whilst purchasing a house in Brighton as I value peace and quiet Things that I liked: - very peaceful location and how quiet the apartment is (important for me) - great views - comfortable bed - great bath and shower - private access from the street Areas for immediate improvement (I did not like too) - the apartment is in need of complete decoration (it is very dated and grungy and not like the photos). I had to clean the carpets and kitchen on arrival. - nearly all of the equipment is very old including the TV (sound appalling) - the front door is not secure with just 1 Yale lock (so important) - missing absolute basics like wine glasses, an iron (I was told that this is the wardrobe- there is no wardrobe!) etc - not acceptable - no decent curtains to bedroom - Upon arrival I put a dirty and stained living room rug in a cupboard and discovered rubbish under the wooden coffee table (I did report this). A repeat clean offered and declined

Great location, up a little hill but walkable. Airbnb was all good with nice view, radiator in the bedroom wasn’t very strong but had plugin radiators provided. Only issue is they provided one roll of toilet lapsed so had to buy more. All round nice place, good price and responsive host :)

All in all we had a good stay , the area is nice and a bit away from the busy part of the city which we enjoyed. Two things we didn’t like that much: First the kitchen utensils were much used and not in the best condition. Especially the French press & the strainer (noodles) were broken. Either throw them away or buy new ones! Also we stayed as a group of three and used the sofa as a bed. We can not recommend this as you can only sleep on one side of the couch otherwise you fall of as the sofa tilts. Also the middle of the sofa was pressing through and sleeping on this was hurtful. Otherwise the apartment was clean and had a beautiful view.

L'hôte ne nous a jamais envoyé le code pour la boîte à clefs ! Nous sommes arrivés devant le logement à l'heure prévu mais nous n'avons rien reçu sur Airbnb ou par message. Malgré mes relances et appels (sans réponse) Dale ne nous a jamais envoyé le code. Nous avons poireauté dehors pendant 1:30 en attente d'une réponse avec nos deux enfants de 3 et 1 an... C'est inacceptable ! Nous avons du faire appel à l'assistance Airbnb qui a annulé notre réservation et nous avons du galérer à trouver un nouvel appartement en fin de journée, bien plus cher que le budget prévu... Nous sommes dégoûtés et ne recommandons vraiment pas.

I really liked my stay at Dale's airbnb. The house is cosy, beautiful and as someone who travelled alone it made me feel safe and at home. Only had a problem with the water faucet in the kitchen each was constantly running. When i was sitting in the living room watching something it was a little annoying. I sent a message to Dale as soon as i got to the airbnb to report this problem. Aside from this i had an wonderful experience. The place is very quiet and i felt safe in the area. It doesn't have alot of restaurants and stores around but its a very short walk to the lanes and the city center.

Our stay was pleasant. We really enjoyed this vintage and cozy apartment on a hill with a stunning view of the city. The apartment was warm, and during storms, when strong winds blew, we sometimes used the heater. The apartment has everything necessary for a long stay. We lived there for a full month and didn’t need any additional household appliances. The photos of the apartment are honest. These are not modern apartments, but that didn’t bother us—in fact, we liked the vintage, old-fashioned style of the English house. However, the kitchen area is very well-equipped and stylish. The bathroom is huge, with an excellent shower. The only thing I missed was a mirror. The one in the bathroom is very dark, and it was inconvenient to use.

Only stayed 2 nights. It is within walking distance of the station and shops. Very clean and tidy (besides the minor stain on the bed). It was quite cold though so ended up sleeping on the couch bed on the 2nd night. There are radiators to keep you warm but I had short stay so stubbornly didn't use them. Overall, lovely and cosy place. Would recommend :)

Accommodation is nice and cozy. Enough space for 3 people , toilet quite big. We have not used kitchen but everything was available to be used if needed. Tricky for parking with permit only and max 4 hours spaces. Check in super easy, host super quick in reply and available. WiFi only to be updated on the house informations. Only thing to mention was the kettle needs replacing as really dirty from previous usage. Would have been nice to be able to make coffee or tea in the morning.

Lovely, peaceful two-floor apartment close to central Brighton. Loved the furnishing, the place felt very homely. The artwork was quirky. A perfect weekend getaway.

Exelent place! Only negative thing was that we had to buy more toilett roll cause the house had only one for 3 people for a week.

Overall, the stay was ok! There were a few damaged things in the house, a few inconveniences, and a bit dirty. Just needs a little maintenance as its probably an old building. Host was very communicative and its in a lovely area. Steep hill to get to but everything is within walking distance.

Logement très confortable (gros coup de coeur pour la salle de bain), quartier résidentiel très agréable et typique anglais, on adore ! Hôte assez réactif dans l’ensemble ! Simple petit bémol pour notre départ, demandant de libérer le logement avant 10h alors qu’il était indiqué au moment la réservation 11h. En revanche impossible de se garer à proximité, les stationnements dans la ville sont très compliqués à trouver lorsque l’on reste plusieurs jours. Les seuls disponibles sont très chers… et je regrette que l’hôte ne nous ai pas indiqué de bon plan comme ça a été le cas avec d’autres. Donc à prévoir si vous vous y rendez en voiture. Dans l’ensemble nous avons passé un bon moment dans le logement très fonctionnel, je recommande !

We were really happy with the location, it was a lovely walk into the centre, which made exploring very easy. However, there were a few issues that let the stay down. The listing advertised parking nearby for £6 a day, but this turned out to be inaccurate - the nearest option was actually a 15-minute walk away and cost £24 per day, which was frustrating and added a lot to our trip. We were three guests, but no bedding was prepared for the sofa bed. We did eventually find duvets and pillows, but no sheets at all for the third guest. When we messaged the hosts, they suggested it might be under the bed or in the wardrobe but that wasn’t the case, and in fact, there wasn’t even a wardrobe in the property. Their replies felt generic, as if they were managing lots of properties rather than being familiar with this one. On top of that, only two towels were provided for three guests, which made things inconvenient.

Das Apartment ist insgesamt schön und hat Potenzial. Aber es fehlt ihm ein wenig an Pflege und Liebe: Die Küche war nicht gut gereinigt, der Kühlschrank wurde gar nicht gereinigt und der Backofen war unbenutzbar dreckig. Eine der Balkontüren schließt nicht richtig und klappert daher bei Wind. Das Schlafsofa ist leider von billigster Qualität, so dass man darauf nicht bequem sitzen oder schlafen kann. Im Bad ist das Fenster defekt. Zwar ist eine Waschmaschine vorhanden, jedoch leider kein Wäscheständer zum Aufhängen gewaschener Kleidung. Mit ein wenig mehr Pflege wäre es ein hervorragendes Apartment - auch mit Potenzial für etwas höhere Ünernachtungspreise.

Had a great stay at the apartment. It is a lovely space with great amenities. It’s slightly far out of Brighton city centre but only about a 25 min walk. There is an amazing view over Brighton from the apartment. It was slightly dirty when we arrived but nothing unmanageable. The lack of mirrors was slightly inconvenient. But other than that it was a lovely flat to stay in for a few nights.

nice well equipment flat. quiet but close to city center.

The flat is very well positioned and quiet it needs a bit of maintenance but the company that runs it let me down as the incorrect keys left fir me to get in. An out of hours security company had to help me as no reoly from company. I was waiting outside for an hour. No blackout curtains too as advertised.

Overall a nice apartment but checking in was a nightmare - key box was very hidden away and Host & Stay gave us the key code to the flat below that was someone’s home!!!! Very unprofessional.

Ansich ist die Wohnung sehr schön, wenn auch teilweise etwas verlebt/verschlissen. Die Lage ist gut, wenn man gut zu Fuß ist. Die Kommunikation verlief problemlos.

Great spot!

The home is wonderful, a cosy stay with such charm. The floorboards sound boards sound when you move, which adds character to the building. Nicely decorated Keep an eye on parking. Whilst it is about a 15min walk uphill from the beach, the view from the home in the evening makes up for it. Great team and customer support

Overall, it did what it said on the tin but not much beyond that. If staying longer, a small microwave would be good and more wine glasses etc. The WiFi was un discoverable but not really an issue for a short stay. Communication and ease to locate/enter the property was seamless. A good solid 3/5 stars.

Lovely house and area, only issue was the WiFi didn’t connect and even after contacting the owner the other WiFi also didn’t connect. The living room and kitchen area were slightly dirty with crumbs and stains on the sofa and table.

Nice place , decoration was very nice and comfortable bed . It was about 1 mile from the sea front , however the 15-20 min walk in was great as you walked past lots of shops , pubs , restaurants and entertainment

Appartement tres agréable, propre et fonctionnel. A 20 minutes à peine du centre ville, l'emplacement est idéal et la vue magnifique ! Seul petit hic : le canapé du salon n'est pas très confortable pour les personnes qui y dorment.

Lovely flat! Just what we needed

Comfortable place with a great bathroom and stunning view. The bed is actually one of the comfiest I think we have ever slept in. Bit of a hill to walk up but good for the cardio!
