Positive: Then lodge itself was lovely just the cleanliness was not to standard Negative: We have stayed on this site multiple times and this time we was very dissapointed with our lodge as you walk in the carpet was dirty and the place smelt like dog, the sofa cushions was stained and every single chair at the kitchen table was dirty and stained.some of the utensils were dirty there was also no oven trays.
We lived every minute of our stay. Positive: It was very clean and well maintained.
Lovely and peaceful location it was just what I expected! The lodge is really homely inside and really enjoyed the hot tube has colour changing lights looks awesome in the evening! The reception is very polite and helpful too! Worth every penny thank you :)
Terrible Negative: this is our 3rd time here and now our last as the place was so dirty and had a horrible smell to it. all the furniture, carpets and bedding had stains on, there was bugs everywhere and just felt so un clean.
We found the property absolutely fantastic. Hosts were brilliant and our two children and dog all had a wonderful couple of nights here.
Beautiful peaceful place. Lodge is amazingly relaxing the ground are superb. We came as a family of 4 with our dog. Everyone is friendly. Bring tea coffee milk with you, oil if your cooking salt pepper etc. we have been air BNBing for years. Most places we have stayed provide the basics but this one doesn't. Bring a frying pan if you need to cook and washing liquid and a cloth to wipe the benches. If you have a portable hoover it's also worth bringing just to keep into of things. Aldi and Sainsbury's is just down the road so you can buy but it's worth knowing beforehand. Host uses an agent who are very responsive as well. Really nice for a relax There is a compulsory £40 non refundable damages or a £250 refundable deposit. You have to pay this before checking. We opted for £250 but you don't get it back until 7 days after check out

Lovely place to stay! Clean, well equipped, looked after, heating was on when we got there, hot tub was bubbling away, the site is well kept and peacefull We ate at the bar onsite and it was lovely. We will definitely be coming back
