Lovely family weekend in Whitby and Surrounding Area Positive: Property was in a great location and only a short walk into Whitby and the Abbey. Views were amazing from the top floor living room/kitchen. The property has been refurbished to a high standard and comfortable. Negative: The only drawback is no assigned parking, there is parking across the street if you are fortunate to obtain a space, we stayed during a Bank holiday weekend and managed to get parked each time in Green Lane which is just behind and up a hill! So if you don’t mind that it’s perfect!!

Whitby is a lovely location to stay Positive: Location, good showers, property very clean, good view from kitchen/dining/living area. Comfortable beds. Negative: Parking is shocking in the area, no welcome pack ie fresh milk, some bread, coffee (apart from guest leftovers) no ice, lack of fizz glasses - why only 2 when accommodates 5 people. Pillows are horrible and cheap. Lots of narrow steps to the property and stairs in the property so if you struggle with this do not book this property.

Positive: There is one large bedroom. Negative: Stairs (you always need to go up two levels) Toilet in the ground-floor bedroom (with a macerator system) made a short noisy sound every 1-2 minutes. We reported this and it was fixed but after one night it was back and was disturbing dduring the night Shower on the groundfloor did not fonction well The 2 other bedrooms

Perfect location. Lovely, clean house. definitely worth a stay. Positive: Perfect location. Perfect hosts. Lovely property with everything you could need. Beds were very comfortable and the living area was well presented and airy. We would definitely stay again. Negative: There are no dislikes at all.

Very modern townhouse, well equipped - just sort out the drain smell Positive: Great location; short walk to steps/abbey and centre of town. Great kitchen facilities and cooking equipment. Modern funky lighting and great view of harbour. Negative: Major drainage smell on ground floor bathroom that seaped through to hallway. (Lots of air fresheners were around the property, so must be known issue) Lack of parking close by as on street parking outside is limited and didn’t see a car move over the weekend.

Great location and lovely property. Only thing missing was a couple of teabags (plenty of coffee) but coop was a short walk away to rectify this whilst we stayed 😊

A good clean modern property to stay in. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Positive: Good location. Pretty quiet. Very clean fresh and modern house. Good to have a 2nd shower room. Negative: Parking was an issue after the first night as the road in front of the property usually doesn't have any spaces.

Great stay and location. Everything we needed was there Positive: Perfect location. Really well presented property and to a very high spec and standard. Amazing view of the harbour. Absolutely perfect. Really close to all the amenities so we never used the car once. Negative: No allocated parking and had to find on street parking.

Fantastic place, would definitely recommend! Positive: Excellent location, clean with everything you need. Negative: Slight issue heating/hot water. Managed well, just unfortunate, no one fault.

Amazing stay, great location, and even better view from the sliding window. Definitely best feature. Positive: Absolutely loved the sliding window in sitting room. Amazing views of harbour. Loved sitting, people watching and admiring the view. Negative: Only negative was the smell of stale food you could smell as you got on to the top floor of the property. Smell did not leave the whole weekend, even after being aired out.

We had a great stay for three nights and it suited our needs very well. Positive: Great location and views. Well provided within the kitchen and relaxation areas. Having two bathrooms a bonus. Negative: Glasses and some cutlery required . Only two people could relax and watch Tv comfortably.

A great place to stay. We will happily go back. Positive: The cottage is very well-appointed, comfortable and compact. It was great having a washing-machine and dishwasher, and our stay was very enjoyable indeed. Negative: Parking is an issue as this is a very popular spot. To be fair, though - this has nothing to do with the actual property!

Our stay was excellent. We loved the property, the town and most importantly, the Whitby beach. Positive: The property is clean and is in an ideal location. Negative: The staff is responsive but this could be improved.

Lovely place great views. Attention to detail in spec!! Great!!!! Positive: Anthony rescued us after a failed booking!! So grateful he allowed us to stay and we loved your great cottage!!! Negative: We had to clean it but that was not down to owners but issues with booking .com
