The photos don’t do this beautiful cottage justice. The decor was lovely and we felt like we were in a really well looked after property, not just a holiday let. We were able to park right outside the property, and I imagine sitting in the front garden in summer would be lush. The house was very clean, the bathrooms and bedrooms were spotless. We felt comfortable and at home immediately. This is a perfect location for exploring the local area or, just relaxing and gazing at the phenomenal views. Walking along the prom each day, everybody was very friendly and our dog had a great time on the beach too. The Needles Eye is a great little cafe within 50m and we had takeaway pizza from there too. Porters in the town was the best eating option locally. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

3 night stay @12 on the terrace Positive: The house is in a great location, is as stunning as the photos suggest, it had everything we needed and was decorated lovely. Nice touch to accept dogs without additional charges unlike most places and provide dog bowls, and starter milk, tea, coffee and toiletries. Negative: Nothing to complain about at all.

This property has been completed to a very high standard. The interior design is fabulous. The furnishings and accessories were all beautifully coordinated. The view of course is amazing. The shower was great, bed very comfortable. We had everything we needed here. Only suggestion would be to make the dog rules more obvious before booking. The day before we received the house rules which includes that dogs should not be on furniture or upstairs. Leaving a dog in unfamiliar surroundings could be stressful and cause damage to property. Our dog is used to sleeping in his bed but in the same room as us. We wouldn't book again just because of this rule.

Beautiful house - Stunning location We had a wonderful 3 night stay and wish we could have stayed longer. The house is beautiful....clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The interior design is contemporary, with lots of nice little touches. The books and games were a lovely addition.Beds were comfortable...we had a great night sleep in a very peaceful neighbourhood. The location is a very short walk to the beach, which was great for walking the dog. Lovely clean beach and very quiet... sometimes you had it all too yourself. This was a great base to go and explore the Northumberland coastline. We were able to get parked outside the house easily every day. Loved our stay and would recommend to others. Hope to come back very soon.

Beautiful location. Our family of four adults enjoyed our stay, including walks in to town (Glenton's Bakery!) or to the exceptional Cafe Needle's Eye only moments away. The Maritime Museum is a pleasant 15 minute walk along the beach, and it has a great cafe with windows overlooking the sea. The town was so friendly, and walks on the beach are key. It's also a good base for exploring the surrounding area.

beautiful house and stunning views but we won't stay again as we had some annoying issues. always a parking space outside which was great with little ones. couple issues though firstly we contacted the host to ask what coffee machine it was so that I could bring Decaf coffee, they advised it was ground coffee so we bought that and it turns out it was pods which were provided but no idea what each of them were which was annoying the heating was super complicated and it kept resetting back to 10 degrees, the last night was very frustrating and we ended up bringing our baby into the bed with us it was that cold and the heating kept switching off there is no extractor fan in the kitchen beds are unbelievably soft which is great if you like that but awful if you like a firmer bed, the bed in the master room is also on a tilt so your head is lower than your feet! the bins were all full which is annoying so we had no where to put our bins and recycling water pressure was also awful

Great location to explore Northumberland and visit family locally. Would Highly recommend staying here as the morning view of the beach is spectacular 🥰

Fijn, mooi en ruim huis met prachtige uitzichten over de zee Positive: Een heel fijn huis om een aantal dagen door te brengen met het gezin. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig van een compleet uitgeruste keuken tot twee mooie badkamers met fijne douche en wasvoorzieningen. Het is er schoon, rustig en het uitzicht is prachtig. Negative: Alles was in orde.

What a fantastic location - right on the beach front for morning sunrises. Perfect for our party as we have someone with limited mobility and we had three dogs who loved the beach.

A stylish high end property which was beautifully decorated & furnished. The location had a stunning view out to the beach & sea. All amenities were included. & everything was immaculate.

The property and place were amazing- stunning beach views. Lovely space. The management company could do better- we had to chase the check in details after check in time, perfectly fitted out kitchen with no bottle/wine opener was flagged as an option for the owner to consider and no functional ceiling lights in one bedroom or entry way (and no replacement bulbs). Dinged the overall experience/value because nothing was actioned for our short stay. Hopefully a one off…

Just arrived back after an amazing week! I grew up a few doors down from this house and was back for a reunion. I didn’t want to leave and already looking at booking at least 2 more visits. House is amazing, great location even though I am biased. Loved every minute

Beautiful home that was clean, welcoming and well equipped. The location was great and the view was spectacular. The beds were really comfortable and there was plenty of storage (hanging and drawers) for our clothes. Host and stay were responsive and helpful with a few questions I had before going. There were just a few little things that stopped me giving it 5 stars. It said a few things were provided (oil and conditioner) so I didn’t take them. When I got there realised they weren’t provided which was annoying. It said shampoo and body wash was provided and it was in little sachets which was a nice touch but it wasn’t enough for 3 adults and 2 kids for 4 days. Also both hand washes in the bathrooms were empty. Overall we had a great week in the house and would stay again.

What a superb property. The view from the upper bedroom window as the sun came up was worth the price alone. The only negative was a sticky front door to lock, but it may have just been un familiarity . It was a shame to leave .

We had such a wonderful time! Everything was easy and as described--it really is just as perfect as the pictures! The location was stunning. Absolutely stunning. The local recommendations were spot on for our family and we loved every moment. Thank you so much!

This was a great find . Lovely spacious house , overlooking the beach . The property was immaculate and was well kitted out with everything you’d need.

Had a lovely stay in a lovely house. Positive: Spot on location to get down to the sand and sea. Negative: Could have been a couple of fans to help in the hot weather. House was warm even with windows open

Disappointing. Unacceptable level of cleanliness . Very poor. Positive: Location Negative: The property was dirty. Dog hair everywhere including on the furniture. So much so that clothes were covered in dog hair after sitting. The sinks were dirty and crockery had food dried on it. Very disappointing. Not an acceptable level of cleanliness!

A little gem Positive: Lovely location, beautiful property! Negative: Key safe is low down on the wall and there was thick dust, smelly bins and smeared glass and mirrors. Such a shame that housekeeping are letting down the property in a way 🙈

What a wonderful home from home. Immaculately presented and spotlessly clean. The care taken to ensure our stay was welcoming was greatly appreciated. I could have sat at the window and watched the sea for hours. Great base for exploring Northumberland or just sitting on the beach and watching the world go by. Locals were lovely, friendly pubs and a cafe/bar a stones throw away was the icing on the cake. We will be returning very soon. Highly recommend.

Straightforward check in and easy to find location. Well presented and equipped property which was perfect for our trip. Overlooks a wide sweeping bay with beautiful views.

Fantastic house, proper home from home, well equipped, clean and comfortable, will definitely return.

The property was immaculate and clearly refurbished with a lot of care and attention to detail. The beds and sofas were super comfy, bathrooms spotless and the kitchen had everything you would need. The location - even though a terraced property - felt private and has the most amazing views of the seafront. We loved our stay and have returned home relaxed and well rested.

A welcoming and comfy home with an unbeatable location, overlooking the many moods of the North Sea. Nothing better than falling asleep to the sound of the waves. Would definitely return.

What a find! Absolutely beautifully decorated, really well equipped for cooking. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The sea view was amazing. Would highly recommend and will be booking again, thank you!

The house was beautiful, the pictures dont do it justice. we felt right at home and it was a stones throw away from the beach, neighbours were lovely as well and everything was so close!

12 on the Terrace was a lovely property in a beautiful location with a fabulous view out to sea. The property is well equipped and beautifully decorated, every comfort is accommodated. Having 2 bathrooms was very useful indeed as was the outside table and chairs to enjoy the view with a glass or two. Would also recommend the Eye of the Needle cafe/bistro on the seafront very near the property was great for breakfast, dinner and drinks. Great base to tour all the sights Northumberland has to offer Bamburgh, Alnwick, Seahouses Lindisfarne and the Farne islands Would definitely return

Left £150 bottle of aftershave, asked for it to be posted at my expense but they refused so asked for it to be left at the property for my friend who lives local to collect, again they refused The only option is driving 70 miles round trip from the rental to their offices. Hope the cleaner likes Chanel !
