Really enjoyed a long weekend in Saltburn to coincide with the annual food festival. Pros: Beautiful property. Modern and very clean. Amazing (& powerful) shower. Large space inside. Location - can’t get any more central than this! The front door is literally right onto the pavement and you must go for pizza at the restaurant under the flat, best we’ve ever had. The location is just perfect with free and easy to find parking available on both the main road and side streets. We just park the car and leave it until we go home as everything in Saltburn is within walking distance. Conns: Up a few flights of stairs, we were fine but some may struggle as it’s on the top floor. Noise outside - it was food festival season & summer time and direct underneath is a very popular bar. It did quieten down at 10:30pm ish though but we knew it wouldn’t be uber peaceful as it’s on the main road. Overall we were really happy staying here. Very comfortable and the location is spot on!

Beautiful apartment in a stunning location Positive: Gorgeous apartment, very comfortable, excellent location right in the heart of Saltburn and very close to the beach. The pizza restaurant/bar below the apartment is excellent and worth a visit. Would definitely return. Negative: Cleanliness - felt that it had not been cleaned before our visit - dusty and dirty windows. Needed a good hoover on the stairwell, too. TV - could only get one channel. Kettle kept switching off mid boil. Could do with more amenities in the kitchen, including tea towel. The shower head is broken. A blind at the kitchen window for privacy.

Comfortable, relaxing and just what we needed for our little family! Positive: Beautiful property with loads of space and really comfortable. Right near the promenade and beach which was great! Parking was available on the street right outside. The lounge was especially cosy with the electric fire and comfy seats! Negative: No fault of the property per se, we did go on a bank holiday and the bar outside was busy outside till closing time. This was only really an issue for us as we had a small baby we were trying to put to sleep! Once the bar closed at 10/11 it quietened down really quickly. But worth mentioning for the awareness of other families going. However again this was a bank holiday so was busier than usual I feel!

We loved the flat in Saltburn and had a great time. Beautiful decor and furnishings and a great location. Lots of drawbacks though: I know it is a flat for two, but only having two knives, two forks etc is a little tedious if you don't wash up immediately every time you use something. There were no big glasses at all, and only one wine glass (and one flute) which isn't great if you have bought a four pack of guinness, or a bottle of wine to share. The hot tap on the bathroom needs fixing, as does the kettle (it switches off before it has boiled quite often). There were no recycling bins. No oil, no salt (annoying, as they are listed). Finally, I was quite annoyed when I found the 'wood burner' is a gas fire! I asked about this beforehand, brought wood and kindling (as instructed) and carried it all the way up there before finding that out!!! The burner was a big draw (no pun intended) when booking the flat so that was quite a let down. Poor communication from hosts too.

Roomy apartment..comfortable Worth the money Negative: Detail to cleaning , not very good in places , a lot of thick dust on the bathroom extractor fan , which was making the fan noisy when running and on the large shower head. Hot tap very loose . Mirrors dirty. Its not made clear on booking there is a damage fee to pay. Either £25 non refundable or £250 deposit. Youre only told this as your stay is near, its in the small print First impressions isnt good, the hallway is grubby dirty and smells

The property was nicely decorated but potential renters should be told it is on the second floor with four lots of stairs and no lift. There are things in the property that need updating/repairing/providing. There was only one hand towel for 2 people for five days and no bath mat. We had to use the hand towel as a bath mat to prevent getting water all over the bathroom floor. The hot tap in the bathroom is coming off and doesn’t turn on properly. Two of the lamps did not work. It is not very well equipped if you wish to cook in the apartment. There were only two desert spoons, the oven pans, trays etc were very dirty. Finally the television is far too small for the size of the room.

Loved it and would stay again Positive: Clean , spacious , generally just a really nice property Negative: Nothing major , I think with a few tiny tweaks it would have been perfect . Mirror in bedroom is pointless as it doesn’t stay upright No scissors in kitchen and only 2 dessert spoons . Box of tissues had less than a 1/4 left in it I think an iron would have been a good addition Tv was veer small for such a vid room I think charging an extra £25 or £ 15 for checking in in a few hours early was very extortionate , I’d have thought guest should be able to check in from lunchtime as standard As I say very minor

Positive: Location was perfect for us, right I the centre, accommodation comfortable. Negative: Slightly tired, with loose taps, commune areas very dusty and run down, bin bags stored inside hallway.

Most enjoyable tri[p ,Saltburn grows on you would recommend for a family holiday. Positive: Ideal location . free parking locally, the restaurants, access to the beach. Negative: The kitchen utensils were a bit short and needed a top up, otherwise I would have given an excellent score.

Positive: Spacious comfortable stylish clean apartment in a very convenient location. Negative: Only minor problem hot water tap in the bathroom wash basin a bit wonky needs adjustment.

This is a great apartment in a brilliant location. We really enjoyed our stay.

Terrible host. Used this flat twice (it is a nice flat, though is ageing fast), never again. As soon as you've paid for the holiday you get an email asking for more money (a 'damage deposit/waiver') before they will send the check-in details. It may be mentioned in the description, but it's still cheeky and greedy. £65 cleaning fee yet the bedding hadn't even been changed (could tell by the smell, plus there was a used tissue between the sheets - not nice!). Bits all over the kitchen floor and living room. Rubbish under the (broken) sofa. Great cutlery - 1 knife and 2 forks. And no washing up liquid! Their responses are insincere. As soon as we got there we saw that the kettle is still faulty (goes off before it's boiled half the time), the hot tap wobbles and the sofa is broken (all of which we highlighted to them when we stayed there 10 months earlier, their response was along the lines of 'we really value your feedback and will endeavour to correct these problems').

Great location, a short walk from the train station and lots of good places to eat and drink all on the doorstep.

Great place and looks exactly as the photos showed. Matches the style of the town. Bed was really comfortable also! Host were great too, really responsive, understanding and helpful! Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment in Saltburn by the sea. It was beautifully furnished and very stylish . It felt really good and was also a short walk from the sea and from some excellent restaurants. Parking was easy , the only downside was noise from adjacent restaurants . However, we would return to stay here as we had such a good time.

Good, would stay again although not impressed with extra surprise surcharge from host and stay. Positive: Beautiful apartment Negative: Needs a bit of extra cleaning in areas e.g. black on lower bathroom tiles, extractor fan needs vac and carpets need vac around edges. Generally very clean but not 10/10. Especially considering early check out and late check in times.

Great spot, amazing apartment, I wouldn’t definitely stay again Positive: The apartment is exactly as it looks in the photos, big and spacious, nicely decorated. We got parked for free immediately across the road, there’s a Sainsbury’s directly across the road and the train station too. Good facilities and shower, comfortable bed and sofa. Negative: The only downside was a call from the management company 5 mins before check out time wanting to know where I’d left the keys because the cleaner had arrived and couldn’t get in to the property. It’s a bit disappointing when you can’t arrive until 4pm and you have to leave as early as 10am that they are pestering you to get out even before that!

Great location, everything you could want is only a short walk away, including the train station and the sea. The flat is on the top floor and so it was quite even though there is a lively bar/ pizza restaurant on the ground floor.

Lovely stay. Very comfortable and central. Didn’t need to use the car for the whole time there. Excellent local facilities and transport links. Locals very friendly.

Great Central location with superb local facilities on our door step Negative: The main entrance hallway from the from door was a letdown, carpet runner was all twisted and dusty. Cupboard door was left open revealing a freezer? Not quite a true reflection for a fantastic flat. You could do with obsurcuring the window in the kitchen as you flat like you were on public display to the street outside.

Lovely homely apartment that is only a few minutes walk from the beach. Although it is on what can be a busy street at times and above a busy pizza restaurant we had a peaceful and comfortable stay and didnt notice much noise. The bed was fairly comfortable, the pillows ok but quite flat but there were more in the cupboard to use. The living room is cosy and spacious and was nice to relax in the evening in with the fire on watching a movie. Would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely everything was perfect!!

Great accommodation-light, airy & immaculately clean, tastefully decorated and perfect location right in centre of Saltburn. Excellently placed for all nearby restaurants/ bars & shops. Great as a base to explore the surrounding coast either on foot, by train/bus or by car as plenty of on street parking nearby.

A beautiful apartment that is spotlessly clean and has all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. I would highly recommend.

Enjoyed the stay Positive: Central to all cafe s and shops and bars, only a short walk to the see front. Negative: Interior windows needed cleaning, plug in bathroom broken, could do with screens on the bottom of the windows as you are on show all the time, but there were blinds from top to bottom.

We loved staying in this lovely area and will use this place again in the near future Positive: I like the fact that this place is not near the busy and touristy part of the area. It’s a lovely place to visit. So easy to get to the shops and restaurants. We felt comfortable lots of positive things about staying in this flat and we hope to use it again in the near future Negative: The only bit we don’t like that the food smell does come in the hallway from the restaurant but thankfully it did not come in our place we stayed in. Even though it’s only six minutes walk to the sea people needs to be aware that to get to the Beach you either go down lots of steps and back up again or use the little tram to go down and up in the day until it s closed at 6pm

A great place to stay in Saltburn-by-the-Sea Positive: Great location. Room finished to a nice standard. Shower and bathroom was lovely. Perfect for what we needed. Negative: Hallway was a bit messy heading up to the room. TV could be a bit bigger.

Well located & appointed apartment close to shops & bars/restaurants etc. Great for our weekend stay & would have liked to have stayed longer. Will definitely book to stay again.
