Great house exactly like pictures. The living room is very spacious but bedrooms and bathroom more tight but comfortable. The tv didnt work but think that was down to a big storm. Would stay here again

We had a lovely weekend break at Thornbank! The accommodation was great – really spacious and comfortable, with a covered hot tub and bar area that made our stay extra special and fun. It’s around a 20-minute walk to the city centre, with plenty of things to see and do. Our hosts, Cath and Ray, were friendly and accommodating. Thank you both for a wonderful stay – we would definitely recommend Thornbank!

Really great social space at the house. Really enjoyed the bar and hot tub. Garden was really private and a lovely clean space. Lovely big open space for the living area. Really appreciated the hosts leaving milk, bread and cereal etc all appliances were great and seemed new. Not really walkable to anywhere apart from retail parks but an uber to the city centre only cost £9 each way. Sat Nav did take all the group to the wrong side of the dual carriageway which made it hard to find as we had to circle the dualcarriage way a few times in heavy traffic. We really enjoyed the house and thank you for the stay. Would recommend
