Great location for us , beautiful spot for a sunny weekend ! Lovely house , steep stairs so be prepared! Great for doggos , porch was so handy for cleaning muddy paws

Lovely well thought out terrace house, beautifully decorated well stocked with kitchen equipment. Bathroom was squeaky clean. Comfy beds made up with cotton sheets. All immaculate. I would stay here again. Area is awesome with a huge amount of walking take your furry friend a map and a packed lunch you’ll be gone all day.

We absolutely loved our stay, the area is quite secluded in the country side (which is exactly what we wanted), but only a short drive from very charming villages with lovely restaurants and shops. The house is also a short (and beautiful) drive away from famous hiking spots and historical town and villages in the Moors. The place was tidy, clean and spacious, with a very well equipped kitchen, and a great heating system (we stayed on a particularly cold weekend). It had a cute little coal fireplace! The beds were comfortable and it had a very fresh ‘new’ feel to it. \nThe perfect place to take a staycation with your dog and enjoy the country side walks and lifestyle. \nWould definitely stay again :)

Very steep steps not ideal if you have mobility issues

Une maison agréable , calme et commode dans une très belle région de collines. Positive: Confortable et calme. Très bien placé pour randonner et visiter la côte. Le village est tout proche et c'est suffisant pour faire les courses. Le voisinage est sympatique. Negative: Une petite serviette de toilette supplémentaire aurait été bienvenue ainsi qu'une machine à café.

The WiFi only worked in a couple of rooms and that stopped working halfway through the stay. the heating/hot water was difficult to use. Either on and hot or off and cold, thermostat didn't seem to be working. There was an unpleasant smell when we arrived.

Lovely place in beautiful part of the country. Very comfortable and relaxing. Would highly recommend.

Really annoyed that the advert said Great Ayton, when it was in Gribdale 1.5 miles outside of great Ayton up a hill. Also they advertised WiFi, which did not work once in that area. And the accounts in the visitor book went back 3+ years of no WiFi. Host & Stay were very dismissive of everything when I tried to get help. They said hot water was instant. Whereas we eventually found that only happened when you switched a switch on in the kitchen that we eventually found marked fused! Host & stay knew nothing about that!

Excellent stay, everything you need,so relaxing, fantastic country side location, The cottage was very clean and we would recommend the cottage to everyone, we will be returning
