We lived in Jesmond ourselves for a number of years and know the area well. The location of the flat is brilliant, walkable to great shops and restaurants, near to the Metro links and away from the noisy student area. The flat itself is a dream and my daughter adored her cosy curtained bed, while my husband and I enjoyed beautifully appointed kitchen , the well thought out wet room and the architectural features of the property. Parking was also a plus! I don’t know why anyone would stay anywhere else in Newcastle!

Absolutely one of me and my boyfriend's favourite places to stay, so clean and very quick and helpful staff, when we were unable to access the parking pass, but overall would come back again. Tesco express was less than 10 minutes away and had friends who worked in Rio's so we were able to have a nice meal and drinks over there.

Lovely apartment in a great location (good base for visiting grandson in Gosforth). Very clean and several nice touches (shower gel, tea/coffee/milk, etc.). Would definitely recommend.

This flat was perfect for our stay visiting friends. Our daughter loved the bed with the curtains and was just enough space to keep her entertained on the day we stayed in. Walking distance to metro and lots of restaurants.

This rooftop gallery flat was the best! Beautifully remodeled! The kitchen was well stocked, beds very comfortable. It was very quiet the whole time. There are narrow stairs but very manageable and the top floor worth it! We walked everyday to town for tea and scones, easy to catch the metro. Loved the neighborhood. Communication was prompt and friendly. We will for sure stay again!

Had a great stay here - the property was gorgeous and had everything you could need, and in a perfect, quiet location that feels like you’re outside of the city whilst still being so close to lots of great restaurants, coffee shops, city centre and the metro. Great communication from the host and even helped to send something I’d left at the property back to me! Would definitely recommend this property

Really lovely place to stay, a short walk away from the centre of Newcastle! The host has added some really lovely touches such as a decorated Xmas tree! Thank you very much - we felt right at home!

We had a fantastic 2 week stay! The apartment is lovely. Beautifully designed and decorated. Comfortable and well equipped. It’s in a fantastic neighborhood - easy walk to lots of good shops, cafes and restaurants - yet it’s also very quiet and secure. We appreciated the parking permit which made life so much easier. Good fast WiFi too. Our hosts (Host and Stay) were absolutely brilliant. I can’t recommend them enough. Super friendly, helpful and responsive. We felt really, really welcome and well looked after. They have other properties available as well. All in all - brilliant. We’d definitely stay again.

Such a great place, really well located in a quiet street but just 5 or 10 min level walk to shops and the metro. Beautiful home with luxury appointments. All the right details in instructions. Looked as photos. Jesmond is one of the nicest places in Newcastle. Lovely underfloor heating in bathroom! Definitely would stay again.

Beautiful flat, had everything we needed. Super comfy beds, my teenage daughter has ASD and found the curtain/in wall bed both enjoyable and comfortable to meet their everyday needs. Thank you so much! We will be back!

A wonderful stay — up many steps so be careful if you have mobility issues! However; the loft itself was delightful. I would have moved in in a heart beat! You can’t beat this place for a weekend stay in jesmond

Really lovely space. Beautifully decorated and super clean. Particularly appreciated little touches like the fresh milk and coffee pods. Walking distance to lots of nice restaurants and bars in Jesmond.

My friends and I stayed here for the weekend for my birthday and we could have not asked for a more perfect home. Instructions were very clear and helpful, the hosts even gave us recommendations of things to do in the surrounding area. It was so perfect!!

Perfect location for West Jesmond and close to Metro and cafes, etc. We have stayed here before and returned; cant think of a better recomendation than that!

Very charming space, beautifully decorated and furnished, lovely quiet part of town with lovely neighbours. The beginning of our stay was made a little complex by a blown fuse and a very difficult to find circuit breaker box, but Host and Stay customer service was helpful as I navigated that in the dark. After that no other issues. Very comfortable stay. Would definitely return.

This apartment was well presented although the second bedroom would have been a really tight squeeze for 2 adults! The bathroom was a little worn and had noticeable staining on the shower grouting and around the toilet. Disappointing. Ongoing issues with the electricity trip meant that we woke up with no electricity and came back to the apartment twice after being out, again with no lights! At least the trip was doing its job but I wouldn’t stay again unless reassured that was resolved! The entryway and stairs were very untidy and dusty again this would put me off another visit. In saying that the flat was well located and overall in good condition for a short stay.

This was a lovely property. Perfect for us . Would definitely return!

We had a lovely stay at the flat, it is in a great location, a short walk from the station and close to lots of restaurants. The apartment was exactly as described and perfect for our weekend.

Positive: Küche und Wohnzimmer earen durchaus ansprechend un bequem, mit Ausnahme der Stühle bzw. Hocker, das Bad akzeptabel. Negative: Das zweite Doppelbett Als solches angeboten !) war viel zu klein. Noch dazu stsnd es an der Wand. Sodass man nur von eimer Seite einsteigen konnte. Es gab von allem zu wenig (Tassen, Besteck..) Als wir monierten, dass es für jede Person nur ein Handtuch und für alle nur eine Roĺle Kloopapier gäne nahm man das mit einem "We are sorry..." entgegen, aber sonst nichts. Der Strom fiel auch einmal aus. Wir konnten dss aber reparieren. Insgesamt ein klassischer Fall von "stinginess, and couldn'r care less attitude" wie man im GB sagen würde. Ein klares Missverhältnis von Leistung und Preis !

Nice flat and good location for Wylam Brewery

I came to visit my son at Uni, communication was fantastic and they let me come earlier which i appreciated. Clear instructions on how to get into the property and parking. The apartment is stunning, a real home from home and immaculate in both decor and cleanliness. I brought half my kitchen utensils and casserole dishes to batch cook meals (to leave with my son) but i didnt need to the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, and i mean everything. It is quiet, didnt hear any noise at all but still close to local restaurants and bars. The host checked in with me to check everything was ok a couple of times. My only point would be if i came for 1 night check in is 4pm and out by 10am, i was here for a couple of days. TBF the cleaner arrived 10am on the dot, i left something behind and came back 2 hours later and she was still cleaning away stripping all bedding towels, this is a very professional host. Thank you and i will be back !

A fabulous quiet, comfortable roof top apartment. Amenities list said shampoo and conditioner were included, but on arrival only a small sachet of body wash/ shampoo and no conditioner. This was not a problem as popped to the shops to buy some, but if I had known this I would’ve travelled with some. Would highly recommend, 20 minute metro ride from the airport, 5 minutes into the city centre and only a few minutes walk from West Jesmond metro.

This is a lovely third floor flat within walking distance of Newcastle University. The neighborhood is quiet and there are several lovely restaurants nearby. The flat itself was clean, well-appointed and comfortable. The parking was free and right outside the flat which is always a plus.

Over priced for the size of it! Wasn’t as clean as it could have been either! Now trying to take more money off me when I’ve already paid over £400! Won’t be returning

A good stay

We had a 2 nights stay and it was perfect for what we needed. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance but it is such a lovely quiet location. We also strolled into Newcastle through the parks which was lovely. A great place to stay and would recommend if wanting to explore Newcastle but stay out of the centre in the quiet leafy suburbs.

We absolutely loved our experience. The flat is beautiful and well decorated which always helps your stay feel more relaxing and comfortable. The flat was very clean. My only complaint is the bathroom feels like it could do with a bit of a re-do. The tile and grout has lots of mildew from the shower and it felt like it could use a good scrub to get rid of that but it wasn’t horrendous. I also would’ve appreciated some paper towels (came with none) for the kitchen and a few more toilet rolls for the bathroom (came with 2 rolls). Otherwise, the location, interiors, host communication and all else was excellent. We have already recommended it to our family in the area. Thank you!!!

We loved our stay in Jesmond. The flat was comfortable and was walkable into the city and we found a lovely Italian restaurant locally (Avanti). The kitchen was well stocked and the living room was comfortable as was the bed. The neighbourhood was peaceful, green and friendly. All in all a lovely stay. Thank you 😊

Lovely and quiet location, close to Jesmond Park where we attended a festival. 15 minutes walk to town. Very comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. Good quality towels. Nice decor. Good quality fixtures and fittings. No welcome hamper which we would usually expect at this price point, but there was small selection of tea/coffee and milk sachets provided.

Positive: Location is great for exploring Jesmond and popping to the coast or city centre. Beds are very comfy and the kitchen/lounge area very tasteful Negative: The bathroom could do with a deep clean as it wasn't as clean as the other parts of the apartment. The coffee machine also needs a decent clean.

The apartment was exactly as described and pictured, with everything in excellent condition and working order. Communication from Host and Stay was always clear and all information was provided plenty of time before the trip so there was no stress at all. An excellent host - thank you!

Positive: The apartment is in a great location - 5 mins to metro stations, 20 min walk in to town, up the road from restaurants, cafes and bars. The decor is beautiful, lots of mod cons whilst keeping the character of the place. Living space and bedrooms comfortable and cosy. We would stay again when back in Newcastle. Negative: If I’m being really picky, the floorboards were quite dusty, had to wipe feet ahead of putting shoes on but having lived in older houses, aware this can happen.

Place was beautiful and very clean. £6 in a taxi to the centre and was in such a nice quiet location. Very easy to find and had everything we needed. Only had trouble with getting the key but I called and we sorted it out straight away. Amazing would definitely return

Positive: The flat was lovely. Immaculately furnished and decorated. Great location for our our purposes. Negative: The hosting provider was problematic. Charlie was lovely but they inappropriately asked us to agree to additional terms before giving the key safe code for the keys. Expecting us to read further lengthy document after completion of the contract. The lock was stiff and it took us numerous attempts to get the key to turn.

Perfect stay. Flat is great. Only quibble was the key is very difficult to use for opening the flat. Really should replace the lock

Really nice stay, was exactly what we wanted for a weekend away. Did struggle to get in the front door as the key was really stiff however did manage to resolve and was a 24hr helpline if needed

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay. It had everything we needed. Very tastefully decorated. It felt a bit like a suite in boutique hotel. Most importantly it was very clean. Nice quiet neighbourhood and just 3 stops on the Metro to the city centre. I would definitely book here again.

Gorgeous flat in a lovely, quiet area of Jesmond and just a short walk to the Metro and the bars, shops and restaurants. The flat is finished to a high level with everything you need. Very very comfortable and peaceful. Plenty of parking right outside and using the permit provided makes it easy to arrive and switch off.
