Great lodges Positive: We liked the lodge, it was so spacious and cosy. Negative: The hot tub chemicals made our eyes sore.

Our family had a lovely stay here, surroundings and hot tub were lovely. Would definitely recommend.
Positive: Location was great, amenities were nice and everything to make what you needed. Tv good. Beds comfy. Negative: Neighbours too close, hottub dirty, 24 hour out of hours line heard nothing when neighbours partying while 3.30am when apparently strict 9am deadline for noise. Arrived nearby and politely asked for early check in, got a very abrupt response. Outside furniture unusable as not kept inside and wet due to thunderstorm. No hosepipe on our lodge which was safety feature of bbq.
A lovely lodge in a great location. The Lodge could do with a bit of a refurb in places but on the whole a nice stay. Checkout was listed as 10.00 am but from about 9.00 there were people walking on our decking of the lodge and tidying away after us, before we'd even had chance to check out.

A lovely relaxing weekend
Overall we had a great stay at Roseberry Lodge Retreat, the site is beautiful and lovely scenery. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. However the lodges could do with a refresh. They had a lovely chair in the bedroom, however these were full of stains so it felt dirty. The carpets were also very worn and had a number stains. Which I’m sure could be removed with some carpet cleaner. The fridge had seen better days and parts were missing, along with the crockery, this does need replacing as this was very old. The front door and one of the patio doors would not lock on last njght so we had no choice but to leave it unlocked all night. Which of course imposes a big safety risk. If all these things could be rectified then we could definitely recommend staying here.
