Great location. We loved the walk to the centre of Whitby. The shop below was handy. We thought it would be noisy having that and a Chinese takeaway below but not at all. We didn’t hear anything. The property is very equipped, hairdryer, vacuum cleaner- which we used in 2 occasions from general bits and pet hair. I would suggest some new curtains that fit the windows in the bedrooms and maybe a deep clean of the property. We did find the floors, carpets and skirting boards could do with it. But overall great stay and experience. Thank you

Unfortunatley on our stay we found that it wasn't very clean; there was dirty cutlery/kitchen appliances, the coffee machine pods were not applicable with the machine supplied, the milk in the firdge was out of date by a week, no salt (as said it was supplied), the fridge hadn't been wiped from last visitors, dust/webs in corners of rooms, I think once you notice one thing unclean you start to spot it elsewhere when you are staying in somebody else's home/accomadation. Another small thing was that we was only made aware the day before checking in that dogs are not allowed upstairs to the bedrooms, which is fine but I'd of liked to of been made aware sooner as this may of stopped me from booking this home. \n\nOther than this, the stay was very nice, walking distance into Whitby Harbour, shop just beneath which was very helpful, large home for the price, and very cosy! Bed is extremely bouncy and soft, almost roll off if you arent careful. Good shower. All kitchen appliances you'd need.

Spacious flat - five minute walk to the beach. 15 min walk to centre of Whitby. Our little dog loved the flat - including the big dog bed supplied - she liked it more than her own bed. Only downside was the toilet and bathroom being downstairs. Might be inconvenient for little children. Otherwise a great flat. The shops below are a little off putting when you first see them but there was no unwanted noise. Don’t order from the Chinese / it’s terrible!

Great location. Free parking nearby. Apartment was very clean and comfortable. Dog friendly. Stairs up to the apartment are very steep and were difficult for our dog. Would worry about young children too. No hairdryer available and only 1 sachet of shampoo and body wash for 2 people for 2 nights which was disappointing as these were listed as supplied. Received an apology when reported these.

Great choice for Whitby Positive: Newly renovated and really nicely done. The kitchen and bathroom are very nice, and the bedroom is comfortable. The kitchen had a lot of pots and pans, as well as cooking utensils, which was great. It was a very seamless check in and check out. The owner has thought about a lot of details, including making it dog and kid friendly. I would stay here again! Negative: The living room carpet was slightly dirty when we checked in. We felt it was a bit stingy to only include one roll of toilet paper for the stay.

Great location, not far from the beach. The apartment was neat and modern, which catered to our needs especially bringing a dog. Communication was also great and everything in place. The beds were very comfortable and we would also like to know where the duvets are from as we would love them at home 😂 We would happily stay again.

2A The Parade. Stairs to first floor as you enter the front door. Shoe rack and coat hangers at the bottom of the stairs. Spotlessly clean in all rooms and ample toiletries and cleaning products. Well fitted kitchen with washer, dishwasher, hob, oven and large fridge freezer. Bed linen clean, well presented. Child and dog friendly - small dining table in the Dining Room for the little ones, toy box in bedroom. Lovely living room and dining room, plenty drawers and wardrobe space, safety gate at the bottom of the stairs and even a dog bed and bowls! Location a bit out for us as I have walking difficulties, fine for able bodied people. The only criticism I have is it is above a Costcutter, Chinese Take Away, Coral Bookmakers but a very welcome surprise once you are inside.

The property has been great for our employees working in the local area, very clean and well looked after.

Great Family Apartment Positive: The apartment was immaculately clean and beautifully presented. I've never stayed in an apartment that has such a well equipped kitchen. There were some lovely facilities included for pets and children, e.g. travel cot, highchair, dog bed and bowls. The location was quiet and peaceful, just a short walk from the beach. Negative: The free parking outside isn't guaranteed. We had a small baby with us so we needed to park close to the apartment, there were a couple of occasions that we had to park on the steet which wasn't ideal. However, the majority of the time we were able to get a space.

A perfect place to call your own for the holiday! Positive: The location was perfect - far enough away to be peaceful, close enough to walk…and free on street parking! The property had everything we needed and more! The property app was easy to use and told us everything we needed to know - the communications with the owner were super too! We were on a hiking weekend and knowing we were returning to a great shower, fab kitchen, and super comfortable beds was a joy! Negative: It wasn’t a problem for us but to note the property has steep stairs.

Ok Negative: Security. The door was not easy to lock.

Positive: Excellent location, and very spacious. The host was very good answering any questions or queries.

Lovely balcony from the kitchen, enjoyed having our morning coffee and evening beer there. We were a couple with two boys aged 8 and 5 who loved the bunk beds and smart TV! The location was great at West Cliff, a lot more peaceful than the centre of Whitby Town and close to our family. Whitby Town is a 20 minute walk which was fine for us. A lot of free parking on Upgang Lane. We highly recommend this apartment and would book it again in the future. Negative: Nothing

We had an amazing stay and couldn’t have asked for a better place. The location was fantastic, making it easy to get around and explore the area. Everything was spotlessly clean, tidy, and very well looked after. The decoration was beautiful and made the space feel really welcoming and comfortable. We also really appreciated the thoughtful touches for our dog, including a bed and food containers, which made traveling with a pet so much easier. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and pet-friendly place to stay!

Good lication, 1 minute walk and you are at the cliff edge. Lot of steps, but if dont like steps Whitby not for you.

We went for an event at the pavilion excellent location. very easy access to Whitby . Well maintained.

Owner should make clear the negatives with the place and not just the positives. Would not stay agai Positive: The Kitchen, lounge and dining room, were all good areas. Negative: We were not told that the flat was above a shop. So, we had STEEP stairs to climb to get to first level, then another flight to get to bedrooms which was difficult for us with luggage being in our 60's. This should have been in the add. Having no bathroom upstairs was also ridiculous. having to trapes downstairs 2-3 times in middle of the night. I do not like a shower over the bath, as i have difficulties with this setup, yet i booked because the add said Washing Machine and Dryer. Having come all the way from Australia and traveling for over a week around Scotland, we had washing to do. First thing that went on was the washing, only to find out that there was no DRYER even though it was advertised. We would never have stayed if we had known.

Surprisingly spacious and quiet 2 The Parade suited us right down to the ground. Spotlessly clean and incredibly well -equipped we had an extremely comfortable stay and will go back .

Sack the Cleaners Positive: Only good points were comfy beds. Negative: From the outside the front door to inside the property was filthy. Stairs not been hoovered at all and loads of leaflets on floor. Dead flies in all rooms. Living room smelt of stale dirty dog. Cushions, blanket and furniture had old dirt on. Rug was badly stained and underneath were crumbs and crisps! Toothpaste had been left on bathroom radiator and tiles. Old fat left on frying pan which was grim. Wooden floors were filthy especially the kitchen with food crumbs at edges and crumbs left on dining chairs. When paying £60 in charges within price you would expect it to be cleaned on arrival!

Great place to stay-right beside the beach and all the amenities.

Positive: Handy for shops etc, well equipped. Negative: Toilet downstairs from the bedrooms. TV has no terrestrial channels. On arrival we had to clean up dead blue bottles off the floor in all downstairs rooms.

We really enjoyed our stay. The flat was very spacious and had everything we needed. The beds were really comfy and the place was warm. That was really appreciated on such a windy weekend.

A lovely big, spacious house with everything that you could need. We did have problem finding the house to start and a better description of in between the Chinese and the shop you'll find the door. Nice to be able to sit outside on a morning for breakfast. Parking is avaliable outside the door which we managed to claim upon arrival which mede loading and unloading a lot easier. A nice place and would use again.

Lovely property which was easy to find and smooth check-in process. Great location just around the corner from the beach, and short walk in Whitby centre. Shop beside and a few takeaways in the area if needed. Would recommend a stay :).

Inside, the appliances were all in great working order—no fuss, just everything you need for a smooth stay. The second-floor balcony might be small, but it packs a punch: lovely views, and the sweetest surprise? Friendly seagulls dropping by for a visit, adding that charming coastal vibe. The host also nailed the details: the check-in info and house guidelines were clear, thorough, and super helpful—no confusion, just easy settling in. If you’re heading to Whitby, this spot is a no-brainer. We’d book it again in a heartbeat!

This flat is beautiful and spacious. It is in a great location for the beach and to get to the town Centre.

Great little spot, really clean with everything you need for a long weekend! Walkable distance to Whitby harbour. All the instructions were really clear.

Clean, peaceful flat in a great location slightly out of the town centre. Good for those walking the Cleveland Way.

Positive: Everything was brand new, it was one of the best apartments I've ever stayed in. Everything you could need was provided. Negative: Everything was exceptional. If I had to say one thing it'd be the hot and cold tap on the bath are the wrong way round but it wasn't an issue at all. And the pans was no good for the hob as its an induction hob but the pans wouldn't work with the hob but also wasn't an issue. Everything was brilliant.
