Perfect location hreat value for money would use again

Very good value for money, would stay again Positive: The property was in a great location, very spacious and comfortable Negative: There were lots of stairs up to our apartment! A dining table would be better than a coffee table, we stayed for 3 nights so would have been better to have somewhere to sit while eating Property needed a good dusting

Cold, hard and noisy! Positive: The location was Ok but not really suitable for families due to the loud music being played from the pub across the road. Negative: After notifying the host we would be arriving late we arrived at the accommodation with two small children to the temperature set at 6°c. It was so cold we couldn't even put the hoods of our coats down. By 10.30pm it was 14° managed to get everyone into bed in jumpers e.t.c but not a warm welcome! The double bed is so hard. I've sat on more forgiving benches. The shower is covered on mould and the heads have so much limescale hardly any water comes out. Young families should also be aware that the flat is located across from a busy pub which plays loud music late. We contacted the host whilst staying at the property but all responses were in the style of an AI chat bot. Unfortunately we cannot recommend this accommodation.

Positive: Love the location and the space in the apartment Negative: This was our 2nd stay and found that the apartment wasn't particularly clean. Carpets had not hoovered , hair on bathroom floor, no bath mat, dirty fan next to bed, burn on carpet in twin room with a bin placed over it and half a toilet roll left for 4 people. Yes we had absolutely no problem buying toilet rolls which we did and left however we would have preferred even just to have enough to last us overnight.

Good stay! Hike to get there 🤣 Positive: Great location, theres a not bad priced parking spot a 2 minute walk away. Quite cosy! There’s skylight windows and sometimes seagulls land on it and it makes a cute photo Negative: Not for older people as my grandmother couldn’t handle the many flights of stairs we weren’t aware of! Also not for tall people as my partner kept banging his head.

Very nice but beware of hidden charges! Positive: The apartment was great and very near the centre of Whitby Getting into the main door and the apartment itself was very easy and we did like the fact that it was all on codes so no keys to worry about Once in, the quality of the apartment was much better than most and done to a high quality finish Lots of space and well laid out with everything we needed Negative: Cost - we weren't happy at all that once we had booked what we agreed was a fair price, and paid that immediately, we received an email and found out that a £250 (damages) deposit was required. What is really annoying is the 'drip pricing' tactic of then informing us that £10 was non-refundable for an administration fee by a company called 'Superhog' - absolutely shocking! Cleanliness - we found toothpaste on the sink and taps and even a huge bogey stuck on the side of one of the sinks; disgusting. There was, what looked like, sugar on the couch and the side tables still had sticky ring marks on them. In the cupboards was a small bowl and a mug that looked like they hadn't been washed ever; not what we expect when we pay good money for a service Size of Bed - I'm only 5'8" and my wife is 4'8" but we still found the bed to be very small Faulty Bedside light - when I tried my light, it started to flicker and when I moved the cable it went off. Moving the cable again it came on and then off; obvioulsy a loose connection somewhere and does provide a risk of an electrical shock!

can’t complain with how much we paid. a lot of stairs + the low ceilings is not great for a 6”3 male Positive: Location to nearby shops/pubs was amazing . car park nearby . we stayed for our mates wedding at sneaton castle and was only 4min taxi journey . Negative: rooms a little dirty in corners with dust etc . also bathroom especially shower looked as if it had not been cleaned. a lot of stairs and very low ceilings , we all hit our heads several times lol .

Never again Positive: The location was good. Negative: The beds were very uncomfortable. The stairs which we weren't aware of at the time of booking were really bad for us as one of us are with limited mobility. We would never had booked if they had stated that there were lots of steep stairs. This is a attic apartment so very low ceilings. That said it was a lovely apartment but I just wished they had been honest about the type of apartment it is so people with bad mobility wouldn't book. I'm sure for the young and fit they would love it so no need to con people by not advertising it properly

Lovely place Positive: Location very handy for show I was working at. Also very tastefully furnished and appointed. Negative: Was on third floor - not normally a problem, but as my companion couldn't come after all, I had to carry some quite heavy luggage up three flights myself. Didn't know this when I booked.

Goth Weekend weekend stay Positive: Great location, warm, clean and cosy. Huge bathroom! Hot running water and great shower. Spacious apartment, eventhough next to a busy pub we felt not affected by any noise. Basic apartment equally great for us a party of 4 (x2 couples) single beds comfortable, all clean bedding and towels.. Basic facilities and had everything we needed. Right in the town, 6 minutes walk to harbour car park. Welcome pack ie teabags/milk/coffee/sugar/toilet rolls very appreciated. Correspondence from host was also very informative/helpful. Would stay again. Negative: Third floor so lots of steps/stairs Few minor things like could have done with bigger pan for cooking. We managed.

Very well located apartment for exploring Whitby, within easy walking distance to all the main areas. The apartment was comfortable and was equipped with everything we needed. Check in was very straightforward.

Generally good, clean (except for the previous occupiers underwear in a drawer)TV reception was terrible. Had to buy a spatula as none was provided.Binder listed everything available in floors 1&2 but not in 3.Stove top, microwave and kettle all worked well.Visitors should not expect anything in the way of extras … although I did leave some Yorkshire Tea and Olive oil for the next guests.

Beautiful apartment although stairs were a struggle especially when walking around all day definitely not for people with mobility issues or small children with a pram but nevertheless it was tidy and in a perfect location would definitely stay again

Whitby is always a joy and the apartment did a grand job Positive: Plenty of space and all we needed for a weekend break and more . Negative: Being on the third floor I found the stairs tiring .

Excellent stay, Excellent location, Excellent host. Positive: The only downfall to this property is the check in time is 4pm, you can get in earlier however this will cost you. Other than that little minor problem everything was spot on, clean and spacious, there was a thing with the coffee table leg but the host has a book that you can write in with any problems, the host seems to be genuine enough to fix any problems and keeps in contact with you. Excellent stay, excellent host, excellent location. Negative: Just the check in time.

The apartment is close to the train station and plenty of bars. Not ideal for tall people due to low roof and beams.

Positive: Loved the location and the bedrooms were big. Kitchen well stocked. Negative: The ceiling in some parts were low so I found myself stooping around quite a bit.

Overall good stay with easy check in and check out. No oven which was a shame, nor a sponge to clean and pans. However the property is nice, clean and in a great location. Host was clear with instructions and useful. Would return.

Lovely apartment in centre of town Positive: Lovely light apartment in a perfect location for us - right in the town centre close to nice shops, bars and cafes. Lovely big shower room. We loved the little fairy lights in the living room which made it cozy at night. Nice big open plan living room and kitchen. Tea, coffee and milk were in the apartment when we arrived, which was great. Comfy beds. We were really pleased that there were fans provided in the bedrooms as it got quite hot (we were there in August during a heat wave!). Negative: It wasn't a problem for us, but the apartment is right at the top of the building, so lots of stairs to carry luggage. Ceilings are very low in places, so could be tricky for a tall person. There is a fridge, hob and microwave in the kitchen, but no oven or freezer.

Would definitely stay again Positive: Location was great, very short walk down to the hussel & bussel of the shops, bars, restaurants & bridge to the Abbey. Clean apartment, comfortable beds, plenty space, everything you need to hand. I would highly recommend & would definitely stay again. Negative: A few reviews have mentioned the stairs up to the apartment. This would be an issue for less mobile people, but we didn't find it a problem. Also due to low ceilings & beams, wouldn't be suitable for tall folk, we didn't have an issue there either.

Amazing accommodation , very clean and everything you could need .Would definitely stay at this accommodation again . Positive: Perfect location Negative: The only thing I would say is the main door was a little difficult to get in . Also the handle on the shower was hard to turn on and off . Didn’t spoil our stay though.

Comfortable accommodation and ideal for what we needed ,would book again but maybe on a lower floor the stairs are a bit of a challenge with a case but doable elderly and toddlers might struggle though Can park outside to drop off but hit or miss if there's a space I did a trip round the block and managed second attempt it's a 1 hour limit and then parked in the main carparks 10 minutes walk

Never again Positive: The apartment was clean Negative: For 1.5 hour I couldn’t get into the apartment as the there isn’t a full explanation of how to operate the locks and calling the assistance through booking.com didn’t seem to know how to deal with the problem. To enter the apartment you need to dial the code number given plus * symbol!!! Also additional 73 pounds were withdrawn from my card and I’m waiting for the expiration

Positive: Comfortable beds. Clean spacious bathroom. Lounge and kitchen adequate. Negative: 50 steps up to the apartment. Only 1 hand towel for 3 people for 3 nights. 1 bath towel per person for 3 nights. Shower was quite hard to understand and stiff to turn knobs.

well located in the middle of the town. low ceiling was tough with someone at 6 foot 5. sheets and walls hd a few stains but nothing that put us off. overall decent stay at a decent place

Great place, but disappointed with so many stairs to climb to get into the apartment. The lamp in the small bedroom broken, the previous tenant also mentioned this; the grout in the tiles was black with mould; lot of dirt on floor behind both sink units; only 1 toilet roll for 4 people all weekend;

So, bit of an issue getting in due to problem with the flat's door- very much 'one of those things' out of everyone's control. What the host company did was to sort the situation quickly and helpfully - we ended up in the (superior, though I'm sure ours would have been lovely) lower floor flat which was perfect. Location excellent, great overall experience - would very happily go back.

Very nice comfortable place just need better cleaning Positive: Location was great for us good didn’t need a key as there was 3 of us Negative: Only cleaned to a very basic level. Turned fan on and it blew dust all over room and clothes, lots of cobwebs and hair on floor.

Excellent location; very clean; too many stairs! Positive: Location was excellent! Negative: Beds were uncomfortable. Property is an attic apartment (noted in the listing). Lots of stairs. Late check in of 4pm and early check out of 10a would make a one night stay a very bad value.

Positive: Lovely clean bedding. Everything was lovely and clean. Negative: The low beams. Okay for us except in the hallway but it wouldn't be suitable for people over 5ft 7in.

A great place in a great location! Positive: Easy chenck in, easy check out. The appartment was clean and there was nothing to complain about. Negative: As a person who is 194 cm tall, the appartment was a bit to little. But gor me this was just berng picky. The first night was horribly cold. But I just had to fihure out the heating system, then it all was back to comfort.

Nice little place to stay got a couple of days.

We would definitely consider staying in this property again. Positive: The location of the apartment was the main thing we liked. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants made the stay really enjoyable. The apartment was really comfortable. Negative: We missed having a dining table in the apartment. The storage cupboards in the living area were also cluttered and disorganised. When I removed the bin bag from the bin there were loose pieces of onion inside from previous occupants…the cleaning service could be a bit more thorough. Also, the shower was really stiff to turn on.
