Lovely property fab location . Definitely needs a toaster . Although did enjoy the coffee that was a lovely little touch Positive: Very modern and clean . It is mentioned about the toaster and if I went again i would definitely take one Negative: We was on the top floor 69 steps could of done with oxygen at the top 😂😂

Poor choice of room Positive: Location Negative: We stayed before in Apt 6 which was great. This time we were in apt 9 on the top floor. It was 4 flights of stairs, and no view at all from the room. There was little water pressure, shower could only be luke warm because of that. Only 1 toilet roll for 3 night stay. The bedside lamps were connected to a round pin circuit, they were touch sensitive, Only one of the 3 worked and that stopped after one night.

The room was very nice and clean. The location is excellent within 2 minute walk to the sea front and 10 minute walk into Whitby town centre. A great pad to explore from. It's very easy to get in and out with very clear instructions. The host was very communicative with regular messages with all the relevant information. A very pleasant stay. Great value for money!

Style over substance Positive: The room was a good size and the kitchen had everything you needed Negative: Far too many stairs and not easy to access with luggage. Water pressure for top floor apartment was very poor. Too many lights permanently on at night which couldn’t be turned off. Faulty bedside lamp reported but not fixed. Faulty window blind, reported but not fixed

Good and not so good Positive: Tastefully decorated and furnished rooms close to the town centre Negative: These are basically hotel rooms with the addition of a microwave (no toaster) and some crockery and eating utensils and food, in our room, needed to be eaten from a coffee table while seated on a sofa. So if you plan to eat more elaborately,and don't want to hire in the chef offered, you may want to look elsewhere. I owned and rented self-catering holiday accommodation for 40 years and my customers wanted more home comforts rhan this. The property is quite high tech but there were problems with this. On arrival we found two other guests unable to gain access using the electronic keypad. Eventually a resident inside admitted us. When we went out later we found another five people waiting on the steps. In our room one of the electric blinds in the skylight didn't work and the same went for both bedside lights ( which oddly had round pin plugs). Finally, if you are elderly or have mobility problems avoid the upper floors as there is no lift and eight flights of stairs to the top floor.

We would highly recommend this for a stay in Whitby. It was immaculate, comfortable and basically ticked every box. We very much enjoyed our weekend stay and certainly plan to return. If there's a vacancy here, we would rebook without hesitation.

We had a fantastic stay at this amazing apartment. It was perfect and so well located to everything in Whitby. Loved it and would definitely come back.

Not suitable for people with mobility issues Positive: Liked the layout of the room decor and design very eye-catching and modern Quality of the bedding and towels was good Sufficient space to hang clothing Negative: It wasn't realised until we arrived that we were Apartment 9 on the fourth floor ( making 9 flights of stairs and 78 steps - not desirable when you have mobility difficulties and I found it a struggle!) We had scanned the QR code for the Welcome Information Pack and the content needs updating specifically about coffee tea and milk sachets plus a lot of the sections were incomplete specifically emergency exits and muster points and how to operate appliances like coffee maker microwave bathroom mirror light bedside lamps blinds in the windows There are three velux style roof windows with electric blinds you cannot always open them as the seagulls want to come in, you can lever lock the windows in an airflow position and the blinds were operated by remote controllers not always possible to close fully which unfortunately let's the light into the room very early in the morning disturbing your sleep The water pressure on the fourth floor is low when other rooms are using water and completely stops the shower flow making it impossible to shower at those times Normally for a three night stay there would be provision for coffee pods coffee sachets teabags milk and sugar but only enough for one day? The stairs throughout are carpeted and there are a number of steps where the carpet has become loose making it a trip hazard

generally a great stay just some attention to detail on the cleaning front as previously mentioned. Two blinds would not open fully and outside on the staircase a loose bit of carpet that could cause an accident. Door a little stiff to open at entrance

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and just as described, and self check-in was quick and easy. The West Cliff location is very convenient — a great base for exploring Whitby. Everything was straightforward from arrival to checkout, and we'd happily stay again. Recommended!

We had a lovely stay in Whitby at the Langley - beautiful room, easy access to both the harbour and the beach, and clear communication from the host made it a stress-free experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a few nights away!

Positive: Modern,clean apartment in a good location. I would definitely stay again. Negative: Only the 74 steps to the room,as there was no lift. On a positive note we came back fitter.

Overall lovely place to stay would definetly recommend! Positive: The property was great, very modern had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy! Negative: Too many stairs!

Good location for Whitby, clean, comfortable Positive: Nice clean and comfortable room Negative: We was located at the top of the the property in the loft room, was a struggle going up the stairs with our cases, the hotel is also unmanned

Apartment was in excellent condition, you could tell it had been recently refurbished. Extremely quiet and relaxed stay. Only slight hurdle was a 20 minute delay in getting access to the property with no response to messages for the access code (which hadn't been communicated in advance of arrival). Had to spend 10+ minutes in a call queue waiting to speak to someone to then issue the access codes.

Not good Negative: Awful experience many issues that we told the relevant people about and nothing was done

The apartment itself was beautiful and very clean. However getting into the building was a struggle as the code that was given did not work and i was unable to access the building for half an hour. Other guests at the location had the same issue, some hadn’t received information at all on how to get in. I probably won’t stay here again which is unfortunate as the location and the apartment is beautiful. Was just ridiculous trying to access the building.
