Absolutely gorgeous place to stay. Completely remote but we absolutely loved that! Only a short car ride away from local towns and villages. The views over Holy Island in the morning were absolutely stunning. Such a comfortable home away from home! Would definitely be back ☺️

This property is in the most serene and beautiful setting flanked by working farmlands (full of cows and even Alpacas!) The views out to sea and Holy Island are nothing short of spectacular. This house probably has the best views of any Airbnb I have ever stayed in. The property itself is well equipped for a large family gathering (my wife and I stayed with my parents and brother and there was more than enough space for us all). The communal areas are great and very good for hanging out in the evenings. The beds were very comfortable with high quality sheets. It is situated very privately which adds to the sense of tranquility. We didn't see another human being until we headed out on trips nearby. As for trips, Holy Island causeway was only 8 mins away, and Bamburgh beach (and castle) about 15 mins. Similar to Berwick for larger amenities if needed (like big supermarket). Great location. Would absolutely return and recommend to anyone looking to explore Northumberland.

We had a wonderful stay at The Homestead. The house was beautiful and well-appointed with everything you could need, and the location was beautiful and peaceful (although our stay did coincide with Lindisfarne Festival for a couple of nights). Check-in was simple and the property was easy to find, though I did have to message to request check-in details in advance (sending them 4hrs before check-in time just isn't convenient - I want to know where I'm going before travelling). Communication with Host & Stay was good once I got past the chatbot. A number of times I got a quick response that didn't answer my question but eventually I did seem to get a response from a person. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have no reservations about recommending The Homestead.
Immaculate house, location and amazing view. The pictures don’t the do the view of the coast justice. Enjoyed deck, gardens, and impressive Limousine herd of surrounding farms. Great place for family retreat. Regret not being able to stay longer.
La casa è in una posizione unica meravigliosa irripetibile e c'è una tranquillità assoluta, le foto sono assolutamente veritiere!! Cucina e bagni puliti. Però abbiamo riscontrato che le nostre lenzuola non erano pulite e anche gli asciugamani presentavano qualche macchia, ho segnalato all'host (casa gestita da agenzia) ma non ho avuto risposta. Le uniche comunicazioni interrcorse, peraltro molto precise e puntuali, riguardavano il check-in ed il check-out: ma erano chiaramente comunicazioni inviate in maniera automatica.
It was a beautiful home. Just what we wanted in the countryside. Had everything we needed to cook. A car is essential if you need to get around. The only thing i wish it had was fans. It was pretty warm and opening the window was not an option as there were many bugs especially at night. Would definitely stay here again.
If I was to retire in the English countryside, this property would be at the top of my list of places to stay. Beautiful in every aspect. Every detail well thought out. And just as charming as it looks in the pictures, if not more so.

We felt link in a fairytail, the view to the Holy Island (Lindisfarne) was breathtaking and heaving the coffe in the morning with rabbits, cows and sheeps across the wood fence was stunning. Great location
We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The views of Lindisfarne Castle are stunning, and the home is spacious with plenty of room for families, even though we only traveled as a family of three. The telescope was a lovely touch, and we really appreciated the beach-themed décor throughout the home. The only minor downside was the summer bugs, so bring a little extra bug spray. Even though there was some at the property. Otherwise, it was a fantastic stay, and we'd happily recommend it.
This cottage was a beautiful stay. Peaceful and lovely views of Lindisfarne. The kitchen was open and airy and well stocked with everything we need. We would definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday!
