Lovely property close to Liverpool city centre but needs some love Positive: Great location and good communication from the host. Everything we needed for our stay in Liverpool. We would stay again. Negative: Some parts of the property could do with a spruce up. Extra toilet rolls would have been nice as we ran out. We were informed about 2 months in advance of our stay that one of the sofa beds was broken and would not be fixed in time. Hopefully this can be fixed for other guests as this was a pity and meant some of our group had to stay elsewhere. The 10am checkout is a bit early.

Positive: Location and space was good Negative: The property was very cold and took a while to warm up. There was only 1 toilet roll for the whole weekend for 6 people!! No spares any where! The beds were extremely uncomfortable- like sleeping on a plank. The wrong door codes were sent to us twice! Which delayed us getting in to the apartment. Up close- not seen in the photos- there is a lot of damage and wear and tear to the walls and flooring- skirting boards are very shabby and paint peeling

Loved by all three couples. Positive: Fantastic location. Perfect for three couples staying for the races. Well equipped kitchen. Loads of space. Quiet and comfortable

My stay here was for 3 nights with a few friends as we were visiting for a concert and some shopping. The house was nice and the place was spacious enough. The shower is quite small but did the job. Overall, the place was nice, and was a good stay. Location was excellent and check-in was also excellent. The rates seemed a little high for the area though.

Nice stay, perfect for a group, Positive: Location was really nice, short distance to city centre and nice bars and restaurants close to the property Negative: There were six of us staying there and it would have been nice to have had more than one roll of toilet roll for the stay, there was also not enough coffee pods for the coffee machine. We could also hear the people staying in the property above.

Great location but don’t expect to wash if your with a group Positive: Great location - quiet areas but walkable to everywhere too would want to see, nice big space, good kitchen facilities. Negative: Bathroom was an issue. For an apartment that size (3 double bedrooms and two double sofa beds) there was only 1 bathroom/toilet for which the plumbing could not handle everyone having a shower/using the toilet. During our stay the toilet/shower/sink all backed up when only a few people had used it which left half the group unable to shower and meant we were late for our event. We called the host who told us to find a plunger at the property which we could not locate. Told a maintenance crew would visit but they were unavailable, no one called us back to advise what was happening. By the time we got home the facilities had cleared but backed up again the next morning when they were used again. The shower is also more akin to what you would get in a caravan not a large Georgian house.

Lovely stay for our family gathering. Spoilt a bit by missing cot & high chair Positive: No keys involved. The door codes emailled on the day of arrival worked perfectly and are better than keys for multi-generation family group. Loaction was great. Easy to walk to central city centre. We were able to park one car directly outside using the parking permit. We were a group of 5 and a baby so plenty of space. Decor, furniture, beds etc were all great. One bathroom was fine , might be limiting if there were 8 adults in the flat. Negative: Amenities info of the flat was not accurate. Received an email saying needed to book a cot and high chair in advance. Phoned Host & Stay. The guy at the call centre read the flat info and said this was provided on site. It wasn't. Fortunatly we had brought our own travel cot avoiding a disaster. We phoned and the hgh chair arrived at midday the next next day. The flat was on the Lower Ground floor. Not a problem but not apparent when booking and would have been good to know. Photos of the flat wer from all 3 flats in the building and not possible to know that in advance. The lower ground definitely had a smell of damp. Very obvious when returning having closed all the windows. Not all the bedrooms had windows to open so not possible to clear the smell when we were there.

Absolutely fantastic apartment in a brilliant location to be able to walk around Liverpool (or jump on the tour bus like we did!). Exceptionally clean and tidy and modern in design. Our kids loved having a room each too! The hosts were really easy to contact and we loved their folder of useful information. If ever we come back to Liverpool we would definitely stay here again.

Was a lovely place with a great location and had all thay we needed, and was able to communicate with the hosts whilst there. However, an hour to check in we were asked to delay checking in by around an hour ir more for the cleaners to finish, which was fine to an extent, we had to find somewhere to pay for parking and sit for this time. But then when we got there, there was no travel cot despite advertising and confirming that week there would be one which left us in a difficult predictment with our child who we've never bed shared with and don't like to due to the what could happen which is poor practise on the hosts part as we could have made other arrangements if we were told in advance they couldn't accommodate this.

The location of the flat is brilliant in terms of being so central to the city. Check in was easy and we appreciate being able to book this place when another air bnb let us down for Xmas. However there was so much noise, the smoking area for the block of flats is outside 2 of the bedrooms keeping my young children awake all night, the travel cot was missing meaning my 18mo had nowhere to sleep for 3 nights and the flat needs a lot of maintenance (leaking fridge, dripping tap, lights and sockets hanging out). The flat is surprisingly bright for being in the basement but there is a noticeable smell and we weren’t able to open to windows in the lounge so there was no ventilation. Despite contacting the host throughout our stay there was still no cot as described or resolution to the noise, so we felt quite let down. I feel this is a great place for friends but maybe not young families based on our experience.

what a gorgeous apartment! it's even more spacious than the photos. it was the perfect base for our girls trip to Liverpool. Really comfy beds as well. There was an apartment of lads staying above us and we never heard them and they never heard us. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely property Positive: Accommodation is lovely it's very roomy plenty of room for a family of 4 plus a small dog. Very good communication I always got a quick response. Because it is an old building we could hear people walking about above and traffic outside it wouldn't stop me from booking again. Close to town about a 20 minute walk. Kitchen was well equipped with plenty of utensils. Negative: We had booked for 3 nights over the new year the 2nd night because of torrential rain the drains collapsed causing the toilet to get blocked we did call the owners to be told they would get someone out that night but because of a crash on the motorway the engineer didn't arrive until the following morning we did keep getting updates which was good especially as it was new years eve. Unfortunately the problem wasn't resolved and we had to leave after the 2nd night because the toilet nearly overflowed, the shower cubicle tray and bath started filling with human waste. The owners did try to move us to a different property but none were available so we had to come home. The weather was maybe a one of thing regarding what happened and like my previous review I would stay again.

DISAPPOINTING OVERALL - SPOILT OUR WEEKEND! Positive: - Location is good, apartment is attractively furnished Negatives: - Charges should be communicated BEFORE booking - a week before arrival, requesting a £250 deposit AND charging me a non returnable fee for this! - One parking permit for an 8 person apartment is poor. Had to park far away! - Poor maintenance - on arrival we reported a broken blind (which wouldn't close) & 3 flickering faulty lightbulbs - never sorted - Missing towels - reported, promised to be delivered, never arrived - Cheap apartment conversion (paper thin walls) kept awake until 2am by the guests in the apartment above - we could hear every conversation & every toilet flush & shower! - Red boiler light in downstairs bedroom very bright & hard to sleep with - The responses from Host & Stay were very frustrating - Possibly AI or bored employee?Half the time when I messaged with a question I was replied to with automated blurb which didn't answer my question!

Clean, Spacious apartment located 10mins from City Centre Positive: The basement apartment was spacious, clean and located in an ideal location. We stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed our time here. The 3 double bedrooms were lovely and the beds were comfortable. The modern bathroom and shower was also a nice touch. The management company we dealt with were lovely to deal with and we didnt have any issues - they even left us a personalised note and box of chocolates as we were travelling for a special occasion. The apartment is about a 10/15 minute walk to concert square or really anywhere central within Liverpool so we couldnt fault that aspect of it either. Overall a great stay and one we would be sure to book again! Negative: There were a few points however we feel must be mentioned in the interest of fairness. One of the sofa beds was broken and didnt pull out flat - we didnt need this space but just something to be mindful of if travelling in a larger group. The apartment was a small bit noisy during the night and in the early morning - the ceiling is very thin and hollow so you can hear people walking in and out of the main hallway quite easily. The radiator in the main bedroom kept on making a strange clicking sound but this is something that can be fixed quite easily. Other than those points I couldnt fault it on anything else and for the price this stay is deffo worth the money.

Positive: The apartment was in a nice location and a short taxi ride from restaurants and bars.

Great stay with good location Positive: Location was great and the lounge was a good size. Negative: There were lots of small black flies in one of the bedrooms, they were all over the ceiling and walls. We hoovered them up but they still kept back so we did not feel comfortable sleeping in that room. We did try but then moved on to the sofa beds in the lounge. Everything else was good.

Positive: The hosts were easy contactable, The apartment had everything you needed. close to town, enjoyed our stay, would definitely stay here again.

As nice as the apartment was there were certain aspects that let it down making it unlikely we will return. Positive: Decent location, clean and modern decoration. Everything electrical worked well. Negative: The apartment has very thin walls and you could hear every word the apartment above were saying to each other. Parking permit had been hidden away in the wrong location which resulted in a penalty fine for us. The shower cubical is very small so for anybody carrying a little extra weight may struggle.

It’s a nice apartment with three double beds so it was ideal for the five of us. It’s very convenient to walk to the city centre and main train station.

Veel gedoe. Positive: Fijne plek, goed en compleet appartement. Nieuw en fris. Goede bedden. Perfecte locatie. Rustig. Negative: Wij zaten in het souterain. De eerste ochtend bleek de riolering verstopt, waardoor het rioolwater door wc, douche en bad omhoog kwam. Het probleem werd serieus genomen en de verstopping werd gelukkig verholpen, maar de volgende dag was het probleem weer terug. Erg vies. En niet mogelijk om van het sanitair gebruik te maken.

Being asked to pay separately for insurance or pay &250 bond which they don't pay back for over 7 days is a joke Positive: Good location Negative: 1st bedroom smelled strongly of damp so we didn't want to stay in there. Two other bedrooms were shabby in decorations.

Great location and great apartment would benefit from a few updates regarding noise issues but defo would go again Positive: Great location Negative: Could be quite noisy not for guests but radiators and boiler

Positive: Spacious living room and well equipped kitchen. Nice decor and good location. Lots of bedding and useful features. Negative: The beds were a little hard. The door codes we were initially sent were wrong but they fixed this immediately.
