Not again. Positive: Nicely decorated. The view. Negative: Up 8 flights of stairs. No details of this in the advert and with a broken leg it made for a rather tiring challenge as I’m on crutches. No mention of a lack of parking either as the property is located in a pedestrian zone. Had to walk up and down an incredibly steep hill to get to and from the car. Hair all over the bedding of the main bed. Clumps of hair in the provided towels. Clump of hair under toilet roll holder in the bathroom. Main bed was broken. Bannister from bedroom came away from the wall when I lent on it. Booked for 4 only got enough towels and bedding for 2. Nespresso coffee machine, only Nescafé instant sachets provided. Cutlery was filthy. Only enough glasses and mugs for 2. The list goes on. In the properties defence. The bedding, towels, and some of the cleanliness issues were rectified but this took 3 hours of phone calls while I was supposed to be celebrating my daughter’s birthday. Instead I had to keep making phone calls as the company kept on not phoning me back.

The apartment was nice and clean, however it’s located very high up, so it’s best if you’re reasonably fit—especially with heavy luggage, getting up there is a nightmare. The main entrance lock is also very difficult to open; it took us a while to figure out how to get in. Although the booking was for three people, the place was only prepared for two. There was no extra clean duvet cover, towel or anything similar, which was quite disappointing, especially considering how much we paid. Overall, it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t the best either.

Has the potential to be a lovely vacation spot. Top floor so definitely got my steps in the some of the views made it worth it

A comfortable stay in a great location Positive: We had a lovely stay here at The Crow’s Nest, which was really well located in Ramsgate and the perfect place to visit surrounding areas, including being near the harbour/ beach as well as the local bus stop. The beds and sofa were comfortable and the views from the many windows are lovely. Lots of space split over 2 floors which we really liked. We had to contact the owners to check something and the response was very quick. Negative: We really enjoyed our stay so this is more of a suggestion. There were only bowls in the property - it would be ideal to also have plates for having a quick snack, and similarly some washing up liquid for doing the dishes. This is no fault of the property but as the flat is on the Main Street it was a bit noisy Friday/ Saturday night. I had seen mixed reviews around the stairs and bedding - we personally had no issue with this but it is worth noting it is a 4th floor apartment if you do plan to stay here and this could be an issue for you. The issue with the bedding appears to be rectified as there was plenty when we came to stay.

Nice high apartment Quite noisy because of local nightlife. Some good provision some essentials missing. Stingy amount of additional, minimal coffee 1 toilet roll 1 undersheet missing no plates no cooker. Great tv sofas amazing views. Comfy bed. Overall ok.
