We had a wonderful stay and as it's so close to family, we will definitely be re booking. Loved it!

A perfect cozy place to stay. Lovely big lounge area and a well equipped kitchen. The best shower I’ve ever had and the beds are very comfortable.

The property was very clean and had everything we needed. A small lidded Pyrex dish would be useful addition. Our only comments are around the layout of the kitchen which had no work surfaces - anything hot out of oven had to be put on top of hob. We didn’t use the seating in the kitchen as very uncomfortable. A small round table would have been far more useful and would free up space to put worksurface in. Bathroom was lovely with great big shower and huge plus- heated towel rail. Bed was very comfortable. The only other issue was the lack of information regarding EV charging. Brilliant this is provided but we had no idea how much we were spending or that there was a cheaper night rate until we got the invoice. Overall a very nice property and would be stay again - Yes!

A wonderful place to stay, very quiet and secluded. Excellent location for visiting Beamish and fantastic view of the stars at night.

We had a lovely few days staying here , the cottage is very clean with lovely large living room . The kitchen and seating area (although worked for just the two of us ) is small if there are 4 of you especially if you want to cook meals rather than eat out but for us it was fine . Lovely welcome pack of juice milk cereal and chocolates was a nice addition . Lovely big powerful shower . A couple of bedside tables in the main bedroom would have beena nice addition but we brought in the two small chairs from the other bedroom which worked for us Would definitely recommend the property and would stay again .

An amazing Airbnb in a beautiful and quiet location felt homely and welcoming, will definitely be back here in future visits to Durham.

The cottage is beautiful and in a fantastic location. Close to local amenities and wonderful sights of the north east countryside, but feels like you're away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It’s very well equipped and a comfortable stay.
