We loved the apartment. Very central, clean and had everything we needed. It was dog friendly which is always a bonus for us. It was very quiet and great location and 5 mins walk from the beach.

Excellent, large 2-bedroom apartment. Bright and airy. Good location for dog walking, beach and pier. Felt very new and good value for money. Parking at the rear slightly difficult to find and relatively early 10am checkout. However, would recommend.
Great place to stay. Everything close by. Coach house spacious and had everything we needed especially with 2 teens.

Location was good and plenty of space with two nice en-suite bedrooms. Disappointed about heating pr Negative: We had issues with the heating and plug sockets not working in kitchen. I sent a reply to Host and Stay. Lighting in lounge either too bright or too dull.
We loved everything, at first we thought it might be noisy because we were tucked behind the hotel with a busy bar, but do not let that put you off. it was very peaceful and the accommodation is very clean and beautifully presented. it has everything we needed. The location was spot on, the coastline is stunning and we ate breakfast at Rapps, which we highly recommend. My only criticism is, like all accommodation it would be nicer to have a 3pm check in and 11am check out, especially on a Sunday. However, the current times would not put us off booking in the future. The beds were especially a high point, very comfortable.
Really well equipped. extremely clean. everything we needed. the access is a bit tricky as its around the back of the hotel. we called into the hotel and the man was really helpful. walking distance to some restaurants. communication was great except for how to find the venue. would definitely recommend

AWFUL- DO NOT BOOK WITH HOST & STAY! Positive: The Apartment itself was clean, spacious and close to the centre of town & the sea front. Negative: See our full review on Trust Pilot and Google: DO NOT BOOK WITH HOST & STAY! We made a mistake of selecting 'book now' when reserving- after contacting them EIGHT MONTHS before arrival and asking for a refund to rebook, with the pay later option they refused. Then in the week before arrival we were given no option but to take out their contents insurance for an additional £30 when we already had our own travel insurance! Then two days after arrival we were awoken at 9am by loud drilling and hammering from the flat below, which the owners had decided to renovate without any notice given to us. This carried on all day from 9am-5pm EVERY day for the rest of our stay! No apology, not even someone to check if we were being disturbed by the work- just workmen, building materials and dust all around the main entrance every time we'd had to leave the Apartment because it was intolerable staying inside! Not wanting to spend part of precious time off complaining and in continuous back and forth communications with Host & Stay, we chose to wait until we returned from our holiday to contact them. Beyond receiving bland platitudes from what was clearly an AI Customer Service Bot, Host & Stay certainly don't care and offered nothing in compensation! There customer service is appalling and we strongly urge anyone wanting to book a holiday on the East Coast to avoid booking with them if they can. Such a disappointing experience from start to finish!

a lovely renovated apartment, in a central location. don't be fooled by the tired looking exterior of the adjacent hotel. inside is fully renovated and well equipped.
To be honest, I am incredibly disappointed and frustrated. From trying to find the property to departure, it has been an absolute nightmare. Property is lovely inside but floors filthy, layer of dust everywhere and damage to a number of areas (toilet seat, flooring, taps, damp on ceiling etc). Rooms freezing so couldn’t sleep. Heating resets regularly. Finding it was a nightmare. Lockbox very stiff and difficult to open / close. Awaiting complaints investigation to which has been thorough so far.

Fantastic location, only a few minutes walk to the beach. Apartment was very clean. Beds were quite uncomfortable, and both showers did not drain well and so showers had to be very fast to avoid them overflowing. The description states fully equipped kitchen. This was not the case- no cooking utensils and very limited pans. Fine if you are going to eat out or have take away, but an issue if you were trying to cook. Having said that, the location was fantastic and we would go back again.
Coach house accommodation which has been renovated to a high standard. Spotlessly clean and decoratively pleasing. Comfortable for 4, acres of space for 2. Beds were very comfortable. Slightly alarmed on arrival to see proximity to pub/hotel but very, very quiet. Parking was a little confusing and when we did work it out we opted for on-street parking behind the accommodation which was fine. Would certainly stay again.

The place is newly decorated and pristine. Was tricky to locate but once inside we were delighted and would definitely book again.
