Beautiful location and well placed for visiting local beaches and RSPB reserves. Loved the ducks that regularly gathered outside. The conversion from a clock tower into a place to stay was clearly a passion project for the owner and it felt cosy with the personal items. The place was generally clean but could do with a deep clean to get rid of some cobwebs and dust especially around the windows.

Really great location! The Clock Tower had all the necessary amenities that we needed for a lovely Bank Holiday weekend. The place could have been a little cleaner. Thank you for having us!

Lovely and quiet and it has everything you need for some lovely days away Positive: We have used this property many years ago and it still comes up as excellant.we love the quiet location and its just of the beaten track Negative: We dont like having to not be able to get out of bed both sides as its pushed to the wall

Quiet quirky hideaway. Cosy and homely. Positive: Unique property, with quirky interior. Particularly liked seeing the inside of the clocktower, clad in wood, and lit up, from within the property. Also enjoyed the countryside view looking out of the main round window in the lounge. Only a 20 mins walk to Snettisham village with a very nice cafe, two food pubs, and a gourmet restaurant. Private parking space is immediately outside the front door. Negative: Bedroom small, as shown in the marketing photo with double bed (soft mattress) against 3 walls, making it tricky for a 2nd person to get out! However, well stocked with drawer space and hooks for clothes. Bathroom is tiny, but serves its purpose. Shower hot and efficient.

Positive: Location Negative: - Few amenities didn’t work during our stay (could’ve been operator error - host was notified and further communication was good) - Toilet/shower room was on the small side.

Mould in shower grout, large hallway carpet stain,wall light & corner cobwebs, very thick dust behind very wobbly headroom headboard with wall cobwebs, very greasy tray and kitchen splash back, stained lounge cushions. Listed items- shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body soap missing.

Quirky design Positive: Good location for visiting the county. Quirky design. Negative: Not especially clean. Heating system makes very loud and constant clicking noise when it switches on at 2 o'clock in the morning, consequently disrupted sleep.

This house worked okay for us, it was what we needed. Rooms were smaller in person than in pictures (especially the bathroom). There was a smell in the house but once sprayed with antibacterial not as bad. There was condiments in the fridge that went out of date 2/3 years ago which was odd. Personally the house is expensive for what it is.

Really nice place definitely would recommend beautiful surroundings but smelt wired on check in but after we opened some windows it was fine for the rest of the time and also very thin walls and could hear next door very easily but not excessive loud

Positive: Location was excellent. Quiet, lots of nature, good walks and lots of attractions close by. Would stay in Snettisham again and soon. Negative: Property wasn’t ready at 4pm, was asked to wait outside. Left over half used condiments, jams left in fridge, but no washing up liquid. Items from previous occupants left on floor in bedroom. Head board of the bed was very dusty and I could see something down the side that I chose not to investigate further. The head board was loose so couldn’t help but check it out and couldn’t believe the build up of dust, made me feel sick to think I’d been breathing that in, in my sleep

Bathroom and kitchen clean, but oven was dirty with dried on food, the apartment was very dusty, window sills etc all hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. Lovely spot, really pretty and peaceful but a 15 min walk into the village- not a problem for us, but might be for other guests.

The Clock Tower is in a great location but the property needs a huge amount of renovation as well as a really good clean. The cleaning was cursory at best with cobwebs and dust visible to us but obviously not the cleaners. Overall we felt it was not value for money.

Positive: perfect location. quiet countryside. easy to get by car to village and bus services. Negative: we had problems with HOST AND STAY. WE MADE PAYMENT WITH DEBIT/CREDIT CARD,WE HAD MESSAGES SAYING PAYMENT HAD NOT BEEN MADE. YET OUR BANK STATEMENT SHOWED PAYMENT TAKEN AND CLEARED. CONTINUAL MESSAGES EVEN ON MY MOBILE ANSWER PHONE. .IT WAS VERY STRESSFUL,AS WE THOUGHT WE HAD BEEN SCAMMED. OUR SON HAD TO HELP CLARIFY THE COMPANY WERE OK. EVEN ALTHOUGH WE HAD PRINT OUT SHOWINGBOOKING AND PAYMENT CONFIRMED. STILL GETTING CONFUSING TEXTS/MESSAGES AS WE TRAVELLED TO OUR DESTINATION.

Beautiful, quiet and relaxing. Positive: It was a beautiful quaint property. The upstairs living/ dining/ kitchen area was super. An easy and enjoyable walk into the town and the Coop was very well stocked. The woods are also walkable, had a little stop on the was back at one of the Station Road coffee shops! Although the main bedroom was a little small it was comfortable and adequate. Negative: Check out time of 10 am was a little early we thought and perhaps a 3pm check in would have been more suitable

It’s a pity to have so many negatives when all the RIGHT things have been considered but not delivered! Thanks for a nic Positive: Location Great potential but too many flaws to give a good review. Bedding/Towels excellent. Negative: After a long journey, first impressions weren’t good. Hard to find location. Signage poor. Spiders’ web seen first! Calcium stains/ build up on kettle/ utensils..bad start. Dirty oven. Deep clean needed. Photos looked great but cream furniture/ carpet is asking for trouble. Marks detract from great ideas. Too much unused/ dirty Crockery. Coasters yuk! Poor quality cutlery. Why so much? Give us more space to store our food. Generous to leave some consumables… but…. old/ stale…no thanks. Have you looked in the bathroom… ? toothbrush mug?? Cleaning products visible and corner looks shoddy. Other aspects of bathroom good… but small of course. Heating ( after working it all out?) / hot water good. TV frustration! Instructions wrong. Don’t need hassle on arrival! Should all be welcoming! Have you touched the torch/ bottle opener? Yuk! Night lights great… but limbo skills needed to get into bed! Up for a wee in the night? Major operation. Heavy rain on Tuesday 3rd June ..drips of rain through the roof… onto laminate flooring from beam above the oven area.

Lovely peaceful place to stay. Positive: Location is perfect for us and peacefulness was lovely. beautiful setting in countryside. Only a short walk to Snettisham Village. Negative: check out by 10am is bit early. Check in at 4pm is a bit late.

We had a lovely stay. local villages were beautiful and plenty of places to eat. we found the key lock and front door hard to open but might just need a drop of oil. the cold water from the kitchen sink had a funny taste but it's a beautiful little old property. I would stay again even though the bed was squashed in between three walls, bed was very comfortable. many thanks
