Warm, spacious property Positive: Spacious, spotlessly clean, well equipped and in a peaceful spot without being remote. The heating is underfloor and makes the cottage cosy and warm but with the flexibility to vary the temperature in different rooms. A large utility is provided if you need to do some washing. The garden is fenced and safe with views over the countryside. Negative: The beds were a little too hard for us, despite liking firm beds but I appreciate that this is a personal preference. The crockery became very hot after only a short periods in the microwave and my daughter burnt her hand. These are minor issues and does not detract from the overall positive experience provided by this property.
Fantastic accommodation close to lots of places to visit. Stayed with my parents whilst visiting Newcastle and they were so impressed with the quality and space! Would definitely stay again and would recommend to others as great accommodation and good value.
Fantastic accommodation site lads have stayed here for a few weeks now and been ideal. Warm and cosy unfortunately it is now fully booked for the foreseeable and have to find alternative accommodation but can see why. Only wish I’d booked further in advance.
Great place to stay for work
A beautiful cottage in beautiful surroundings. The location is peaceful but within easy access.\nWe used the cottage as a base to visit family near by over Christmas, but the location is perfect for many local attractions. Within 30 minutes we reached the Durham dales for a boxing day walk. \nThe cottage is warm and welcoming, spacious and was spotlessly clean upon arrival. The underfloor heating is lovely underfoot and keeps the cottage nice and cosy. The cottage has a modern finish and everything we needed. \nThe views are lovely, including sunrise and sunset and the stars were beautiful at night.\nThank you for a lovely stay, we would definitely stay here again.

Warm, comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. Enclosed garden so the dog could potter about. Close to useful shops, but away from the main roads so it is quiet. Would definitely stay again !
What a lovely place to stay with friends and our dogs! A gorgeous kitchen and barn with plenty of space and beautifully renovated. We went on some fantastic local walks and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Great one level living. Enjoyed the facilities. Nice and cosy. Positive: Ideal for our friends with mobility problems. The garden area looked inviting it’s a shame it wasn’t a warmer time of year. Negative: The quilt to the large bed was too small and didn’t fill the cover.

The place was great in a peaceful location with a wonderful view. It’s a nice conversion property, cleanly decorated and warm on a very cold weekend that we stayed.

Nice, roomy and well equipped accommodation in the countryside. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable and kitchen was nice and well stocked. Host was informative and responsive, though agency felt a little impersonal and transactional - not what I'm used to from Air BnB.
