Positive: The property itself was lovely and well equipped clean and a great place to stay in. Negative: Due to the close proximity of restaurants and hospitality businesses there were constant early hours bin collections, early hours deliveries -loud noises of dragging trays and trollies of food stuffs etc. noise of smashing glass as bottles were emptied into the bins. This made for early hour awakening every day - not the peaceful start to the day we would have liked on our holiday. The entrance to the flat was shabby and dirty - which all let down what is a really lovely flat

Comfortable and enjoyable

Absolutely gem of a place Positive: What a little gem! Great location, very near to Bamburgh Castle. The facilities were great, and this place had everything we needed for our small family. ❤️ Clean, tidy and well kept. We will definitely be back. Loved it. Negative: The entrance way into the block smells a bit "funky" as the accommodation is above a fish restaurant. The apartment itself was hygienic and amelled good, so maybe some deodorisers in the hallway would work? However, this would not stop us from booking again because the benefits of the accommodation far outweigh the smell and once inside the apartment, it was totally fine.

Northumberland is one of the prettiest, cleanest and well kept part of England. People are very friendly. Beaches are aw Positive: Lovely once you’re inside. Had absolutely everything we needed - fully equipped kitchen (although we didn’t cook), all sorts of things like games toys films hoover ironing board hair dryer etc- home from home for whatever you may need. Very nicely decorated and coordinated soft furnishings. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Would highly recommend this property / hosts. Good communication from hosts. All people met during the trip were very friendly and a pleasure to chat with. Northumberland is a beautiful place with gorgeous beaches and many castles with lots of history Negative: Took a little bit of finding but it’s basically at the back of the Potted Lobster restaurant which meant some smells of cooking drifted through open kitchen window - once closed not a problem. The only other thing was the very noisy bin wagons that came around 7am to take all the restaurant waste from the night before - annoying at the time but not a deal breaker. Bamburgh castle and beach are STUNNING - it’s a good base to go and see all the other beautiful places but there’s limited choice for food and drinks in the evenings

A week in Bamburgh Positive: The apartment was in a great position opposite the Victoria hotel and about a 10 minute walk from the beach. It was very well equipped and a lovely welcome gift was waiting for us. The apartment was immaculately clean and a good sized space. Parking was included which was a bonus. It was a nice stay for a week in Bamburgh. Negative: There was a lot of noise from the restaurant door being open and closed below. As it was a fire door it was banging loudly regularly. As mentioned in previous reviews delivery trucks were often noisy throughout the morning and daytime. It's a shame as this is a lovely property in a prime position.

Well equipped flat within easy walking distance of Bamburgh Beach Positive: Location in Bamburgh was great for a family holiday in Northumberland. The kitchen had everything we needed, so made it easy to cook and eat in the apartment. Beds were pretty comfy. Within easy walking distance of a beautiful beach. Negative: The apartment is located at the back of a building with a restaurant underneath. Therefore there was a lot of deliveries in the mornings, so pretty tricky to get a long lie. The sheets and towels were just a wee bit smelly too, potentially their washing machine needs cleaned.

Positive: Clean, comfortable and well equipped apartment in the centre of the lovely village of Bamburgh. Hosts were very easy to communicate with. Negative: As others have noted, the restaurant underneath the apartment generates quite a lot of noise, especially early morning.

Great having parking in the centre of Bamburgh and all the amenities on hand and an easy walk to the beach whenever wanted to with the fabulous castle. Negative: Being over the fish restaurant gave the car park its own unique aroma at times, but we were not in the car park for more than a moment.
