Excellent property for a short stay, everything needed was there. Pet friendly which was a must although the garden fence was not suitable for small dogs (dachshund size) as they get through the gaps, otherwise, perfect.

Great location, well presented, modern and dog friendly accommodation. walking distance to the beach and local pubs, restaurants. We will consider for future stays.

A beautiful house that was spotlessly clean. It is in the ideal position for a walk with the dog to the beach in the morning. The hosts responded to any questions very quickly. It is certainly somewhere we wouldn’t hesitate to go back to!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, everything felt freshly renovated while using high quality materials. It is a smallish space but it is very well designed. Including thoughtful touches like a river view from the sofa. It was a quiet and safe Cul de sac, five minutes walk from Beadnell bay. Small enclosed garden and perfect for dogs. We would visit again, thank you ou very much!

We stayed at The Bach for three nights with our four year old Labrador and we were so happy with our choice. In a quiet cul de sac with easy walking to the beach and to the main hub of the village. The house was spotlessly clean and very well maintained throughout, and comfortable for the three of us! We loved the area and for anyone who enjoys scenic walks along beaches and dunes this is a great base. We would recommend for couples and pets and will be back next year.

Positive: Lovely quiet location about 10 mins from seahouses. Clean and comfortable. Good provision of cooking equipment and utensils. Good location quiet area, 5 mins walk from beach, local pub and shop. Dog friendly fully fenced and nice outdoor seating area. Comfortable beds. Negative: On arrival greeted by overflowing, smelly rubbish bin at front door. Unclear where to park instructions said space had sign on but we could not find this. Television said satellite but we could not find channels and awkward to change channels etc. Provided 4 bath towels but only 1 hand towel which was inadequate for 4 guests.

The Bach was well located. Spotlessly clean on arrival. Well stocked kitchen with pots, pans and utensils. Opposite a lovely lagoon. The dogs enjoyed bird watching! Five mins from beautiful Beadnell Bay

Well kept and well positioned little house! We will be bach (pardon the pun!) Positive: This is my fourth or fifth time staying at the Bach. It's a really nice little self contained house. The location is great for walking the Northumberland Coastline. The pubs etc are great (5 min walk) the bay is incredible. Negative: Buy some oven gloves for the kitchen! It would be useful if it had some more condiments, foil etc but I'm scraping the barrel to critique the house it's overall really nice.

Great place to stay with lots of home comforts. Easy walking distance to both beaches which are perfect for taking in the views and swimming if you are brave enough! Beautiful home in a peaceful setting next to the quarry which is full of wildlife.

Exterior of property appeared ordinary , but very well appointed interior . Well equipped kitchen. Basic consumables eg dishcloth, dishwasher tablets , tea towel provided ( though no condiments). Enclosed garden area . Good quality towels and bed linen . We didn’t realise we needed to turn the immersion heater on for the hot water supply ( this was written in the online guide to the property but we hadn’t read this prior to attempting to bath the baby !) 10-15 minute walk to beautiful, vast , peaceful beach. Peaceful outlook onto a body of water . Disappointed, when enquired if we could possibly check in earlier than 4 pm ,to be told this would incur an extra cost.

Relaxing stay close to the centre of Beadnell and the beach. Positive: The style and decor of the inside of the property was excellent. Everything you would need for a stay with the family. Great view across the old quarry which is now a small lake/nature reserve. Negative: Everything was great, the only thing would be more than one toilet roll to be provided.

Family walking holiday by the sea Positive: The house is exactly like in the photos. Clean, modern, and nicely furnished. The twin room is very small but that was expected. Very responsive customer service team. Nice view onto the water. Negative: Lack of essential items. We were provided with one dishwasher tablet, one tiny shower gel and 2 toilet rolls (for 4 people!). I understand that a full stock of items for a whole week shouldn’t be expected, but a few more basics would have been great. When asked about this we were told we had got a ‘starter pack’. The kitchen was generally well equipped but needed an oven glove, and an extra tea towel would have been useful.

From start to finish our stay was very enjoyable.Super comfortable. Only one very minor issue The shower could do with a Grab Handle for us oldies getting in and out.

The property was very comfortable and clean. As we came for a wedding, we couldn’t explore the surrounding areas but the Positive: The property was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was lovely and quiet. Negative: We couldn’t find the designated parking space in the car park nearby as mentioned in the property guidebook so we had to park on the street.

Good location for Beadnell, Perfect for 2, tight squeeze for more! Positive: Location great Negative: Lack of kitchen facilities - no basic things for self catering like salt or pepper. Only 2 dishwasher tablets and we were staying for 2 weeks. 1 Loo roll. UHT min sachets of milk - would have been really nice to have some fresh milk etc a a mini welcome pack.

And being very pernickety… the bathroom tap could have done with a good clean. The rest of the house was spotless.

A fantastic place to base ourselves for a short stay visiting the area. We usually stay in a Hotel in Beadnell ; but as this was a relatively last minute getaway our usual place wasnt available. This was a really good alternative ; which i'd definitely consider again , as it gave us the flexibility of self catering/fridge etc which was handy. The views/location are great, the place was spotless, and it suited us perfectly. Just a few minor negatives; The place was absolutely freezing upon arrival and took all night to warm up. It would have been a nice touch if the cleaners could have left some heating on prior to our arrival. The 'allocated car parking space' is supposed to be clearly marked with 'The Bach' on it. Not a clue where that is.....we never found it! Having said that , the on street parking was ideal. Lastly- whilst the communication was very quick and responsive via Air BnB ; it all felt very cold and mercenary. All about money and getting extra from us.

Positive: Exceptionally clean. Directions and instructions very good. Plenty of hot water via immersion heater. Was chilly on arrival, but it was icy conditions! Soon warmed up via electric radiators. Overall very good and would return/recommend. Negative: Nothing. Would suggest a bath mat.

The hosts were very proactive with arrival information, which made checking in very easy. It was clean and the kitchen was very well stocked with utensils etc which meant we had no issues being able to cook on one night. The road was quiet and the nearby restaurants and beach were walkable from the property. A really pleasant stay.

We had a lovely stay at the Bach. The house was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Well equipped and easy to navigate with little additions such as stickers on switches and the online manual. We would happy recommend to others.

Cottage is fab. Inside was exactly like photos, very clean and well equipped. Lots of things thought of ( sachets of milk in the fridge in case you arrive before having chance to shop and need a coffee!) outdoor area is lovely, great for chilling and eating Al fresco. Lots of birds on the pond. Look for short cuts to get to the beaches quickly otherwise it’s a long way round. Second bedroom is small but beds we a good size and comfy.

A lovely bright comfortable place to stay in a lovely seaside village with a couple of lovely pubs Positive: The location was brilliant. A big plus was the view over the water which wasn’t really mentioned in the description and we loved that. Very modern and bright. Negative: We did struggle to get hot water. If I was being picky we could have done with fans, especially in the little bedroom as the nights were very hot and stuffy. Other than that it was fab

Assumed they were telling me something important so read them all and found they were all repeating what I had been told before. Made me anxious every time I got a new one.

Positive: Very clean. Decorated to high standard . Well equipped. Bed linen was very nice. Beds comfy . Twin room small but is as described, and beds are full-size singles. Handy off-road parking. Close to the beach and local pubs and restaurants. Negative: No kerb appeal. Outside area a bit shabby. Broken garden bench. Could benefit from a coffee table in the living area and softer lighting, a couple of lamps ? Otherwise, no complaints.

Comfortable, clean, modern and good central location. Positive: Spotlessly clean , newly refurbished, modern, comfortable and warm. Nice outdoor space and central enough to walk to pubs and beach. Negative: Nothing really - maybe a wee bit pricy ? But would rather pay a bit more and have good quality accommodation. Some kitchen surface spray would have helped us keep work surfaces clean during our stay, but that’s a really minor point!

Positive: Lovely stay been before but 1 toilet roll for three nights. 1 dishwasher tablet. 1 hand towel . 1 bin bag .No tin foil. No washing machine pods . No oven mitts.Pushing it for three nights . No hot water even when booster on so no baths to soak aching feet . But lovely enclosed garden very clean good location.

We have been to Beadnell several times before so had no problems locating the property. Negative: Lack of essential items, little extra touches that could elevate the stay and property. No kitchen cleaning products provided for after using hob etc and just basic things for self catering like salt pepper, kitchen roll. All in all we had a great stay and would book again.

Met all the basic requirements, clean and comfortable. Outside was a bit tired but lovely inside and very comfortable beds. Good to have off street parking. Good use of space inside the property and nicely decorated.

We've stayed there before so knew what to expect - a welcome addition was the blinds that have since been added. Will definately look to book again. Negative: Nothing really - it would have been nice if there was an oven glove but I'm scratching around to find something to write here!

Main radiator broken ,kettle malfunctioned but fixed next day Positive: Once we had located the property entry was easy Negative: .It took us a good half hour to locate the property after arriving in Beadnell. The directions were unclear and the map completely misleading. The house number was faded so we passed by more than once before asking a neighbour.

The place was lovely, however the main electric radiator in the open plan downstairs area was broken. Stay were very slow to respond even though I reported within a couple of hours of arrival. In fact they did nothing to attempt to resolve, despite me messaging them repeatedly over our stay period. Additionally, the TV didn’t work, suspect remotes were maybe flat and no spare batteries in the house. I have asked Stay to consider a partial refund as we were absolutely frozen, as it was first weekend in October and weather was wild and windy.

Very relaxing. Positive: The location, very quiet and on the banks of a small lake. Really good location to walk into the centre of Beadnell and also to the Beach & Harbour. Parking is on the road, and it’s a great location to explore the Northumberland Coast. Negative: Just being picky and a personal view that the double mattress was too soft and uncomfortable . The bedrooms were very warm and quilts too warm, but this is my view. In the Winter they would be really good! 4pm is quite late to be able to check in, normally in other places it’s 3pm.

Positive: A fantastic house and we had a wonderful time! We couldn't believe the lovely views and fantastic location of The Bach- it's a 5min walk to the beach and to the coffee shops and pubs in Beadnell village, and only a few mins to drive along to Seahouses and Bamburgh. The house is bright and modern, with everything needed for a very comfortable stay. The garden and outdoor seating area back onto a tranquil area of water- see photo- perfect for a peaceful morning coffee. You've created a really calm and beautifully appointed home. Thank you!

Beware last minute hidden insurance extras !! Should be incorporated into headline price Positive: Good central location. Airy open plan, safe private garden. Quiet residential backwater Negative: But Last minute “ hidden extras “ (shortly before departure). 1. Pay a £250 deposit against damage. Refundable but £10 handling deduction. or 2. Log onto 3rd Party Insurance web site & buy ( their ) £25 damage waiver insurance ( which we did) Far better to have incorporated this into the up- front purchase price if it was part of the contract. This allied to ‘ Host & Stay Group Limited ‘ sets a bad tone. 3. No marked paring space

Had a lovely few days in beadnell. The house was clean and comfortable. Positive: The house was modern and clean and had all the home comforts we needed. The bed was comfortable. Shower was easy to work. Negative: The parking space is not marked clearly with the number showing.

Positive: The house is lovely and had everything we needed. Host responded very quickly when I messaged them. It is a short walk to the beach. Lovely area. Negative: The water takes time to boost so you just need to make sure you do this early enough.

Nice property, poor experience overall Positive: Great location, clean and pleasant home. Recommend you take additional toilet roll, dishwasher tablets and tea towels if going for more than a couple of days as only one of each is provided. Put hot water on for an hour at least initially or it doesn’t warm up Negative: Unable to locate parking space and staff no help despite many promises over 3 days. Be aware that the property is not where they tell you it is on the street. Second bedroom is functional but snug.

Great location and all comforts provided in clean property. Positive: Lovely waterside location, great styling inside the property. Wonderful closeness to the beach and facilities in Beadnell village such as shop, pub and coffee shop. Negative: Disliked having to wait for the immersion heater to warm up in order to have a bath and the property was an effort to heat.

Most of the facilities you need and it was clean and seemed a new refurb, but not v comfortable. It was very cold inside- the small electric radiators were set to 5 degrees when we got there and even after we turned everything up full it took about 4 hours before we warmed up. The water heater was poor, there wasn’t enough to have a bath and you had to turn it on boost for half an hour before you could wash up. The cutlery seemed to be the cheapest thin aluminium sort from IKEA. The house was on an estate where it all appeared to be empty holiday lets with v few locals. The parking instructions were wrong and when we called the agent they just repeated the wrong instructions we already had. Probably warm enough in the summer.

Great place to stay in beautiful Beadnell

Positive: Great location. The communications from the vendor was exceptional and all instructions (getting into the property, logging onto the WiFi etc)were easy to follow. There were lots of different areas for chilling out, the garden terrace in particular was a great spot to sit and have a recharge. Negative: The parking space was a little difficult to find and I think the TV wasn't working properly (although I didn't use the latter much).

We stayed at The Bach 1-6 September 2023 The place was cosy & had everything we needed for our stay. Great communication & info on the area & places to eat off you need it. A couple of niggles but nothing to complain about, the beds were very comfortable. Outdoor seating could do with a little TLC but cushions are provided, nice & peaceful by the lake. Easy walk into Beadnell & the beautiful beach, check out The Landing for food & drinks , very chilled vibe. I would definitely stay at The Bach again :)

Positive: It was clean inside Negative: Firstly not until I actually booked the property was I aware of the additional payment of £25 or £250 per person to act against any possibility’s of damage to the property, I’ve never had to pay that anywhere else I have booked. There was no hot water during our stay here apart from the electric shower, and there was dog muck scattered around the garden. Would I book again, NO!
