We had a wonderful 3-night stay at the Swallows Nest. The hut is set into the hillside overlooking beautiful countryside. The views are absolutely breathtaking and despite our inclement weather, there was still so much to admire. We met Annie, our host, on the first night as we'd arrived after dark and she very graciously saw us to the hut on arrival and welcomed us. The animals, the birds, and the scenery made it for me. If I had to give any sort of advice, it would be to pack light, bring only what you will need. It's very well-appointed for its size and despite the kitchen facilities, there are some wonderful places to eat and drink around and about.
What an amazing Stay! It was so peaceful and calming. The views are breathtaking and was so lovely to be able to sit out and enjoy nature. Being able to watch the animals, sun rise and sunset was so Special and relaxing. The hosts are so warm and welcoming who have considered how to give you the best stay. They give you everything you need to feel settled and the produces they provide are high quality I can't wait to return for another restorative stay

We had a wonderful stay. The views were absolutely beautiful, and the whole place felt peaceful and stress-free from the moment we arrived. It was so quiet and relaxing that we hardly wanted to leave. Waking up to the sound of birds singing each morning made the experience even more special. If you’re looking for a calm and tranquil getaway, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended!
